Of our 11 days days in Italy 6 were in Piano. Maria was a great host who took good care of us. The location of the room is great if you want a little more peace and quiet but Sorrento and Naples are still very easily accessible by train. There are few restaurants in the area but they are very delicious. There is a beach about a 20 minute walk from the condo which is great!

After experiencing the tourist hordes in Rome, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, I loved this Sorrento suburb. It is a very short train ride on the Circumvesuviana train from Sorrento (and the train station is about a 5 minute walk from the apartment) It is about a half-hour train ride in the other direction to Pompeii. A large grocery store is 2 blocks up the street. It is very easy to get around. I found that since there aren't a lot of tourists around, the people were much friendlier and helpful.
The apartment is lavishly equipped and spacious. There are enough dishes, silverware, pots and pans to host a party for the neighborhood. The bathrooms were very clean. There were even balconies on both sides of the apartment.
One thing I should note is that the parking is on the street and you have to find a space yourself. That said, it was never a problem to find a space - you have to park in the blue spaces. The machines where you pay are everywhere, speak English, and accept credit cards.
We had a great time here and really enjoyed Piano di Sorrento.

Maria’s flat is perfect for a small family! There is a bedroom for the parents and two twin beds for the kids in another room. Each has a bath and access to a small terrace overlooking a working grove . There is a small kitchen with all you would need and a cute living/ dining area with small balcony overlooking the city (a distant view of the water can be seen through the buildings in the distance). It is a very short walk to the grocery store and to some great piazza restaurants. 5 minute walk from Piano train station. 15 minutes to an amazing seaside (switchback) road and the water below the cliffs. So beautiful down there and some great restaurants right on the dock. If you go, take the all day “you know” boat tour of the Amalfi Coast!!! Maria was very responsive and accomodating. Great air conditioning for the summer travelers, too! Thanks.

Nice place near sorrento!
Our stay at Casa Vittoria was great. It was very close to the train station... of course, it’s a bit of an uphill walk from the train station to the apartment but It’s downhill when you leave. :) Grocery stores were also very close by. The location overall is perfect! Couldn’t be better situated. Maria was very nice and received us at the train station and even helped us roll one bag to the apartment. Very approachable and thorough!
The apartment is big and bright. The two rooms were great. There are two single beds in one room which can be put together but there will still be a big gap because of the frames. The second bedroom has a full bed. The beds could have been better but maybe this is the standard in Italy. The kitchen was nice and equipped. The main issue for us was lack of hot water in the attached bathroom. If the washing machine was on or if someone was using the other toilet, even the shower in the main bathroom would not be hot. We understand that this is an older house and has the charm as well as the old piping but the whole point of two showers is for two families to get ready at the same time and we couldn’t do that. This was hugely inconvenient.
Overall, our stay was pretty nice. If you are staying in the area, we would recommend Maria’s place!

Really nice apartment close to Sorrento
We really enjoyed our vacation in the area. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. It has everything you need to accomodate a family of 5. It is walking distance from the train station and there are a few supermarkets very close. Piano itself is really nice and it is only 10 minutes away from Sorrento by train. The owner is really nice and provided us with lots of information about the area. I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends.

Piano di Sorrento
In spite of injuries, Piano di Sorrento holds a special place in our hearts. The location is fantastic and you will never find a better host! The place is gorgeous and roomy. I would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you again Maria for every ❤️

Beautiful and spacious home!
We traveled as a family of 6, including 2 children. We all loved this home! It is beautiful and spacious. Both bedrooms were very large rooms. One has queen bed and the other one has 2 twin beds. The twin beds were very comfortable beds. The home was clean and lovely. It had that old charm with some upgrades. There are balconies on both the front and back of the home. I would definitely recommend this home. The host, Maria, was very kind. She was helpful in explaining everything, and was very flexible as our flight/ bus ride to Piano di Sorrento was a bit later in the evening. A plus, was also the elevator. It is also a 5 min walk to the station. Loved our stay here!

Sorrento apartment
We had a great time, and the apartment was beautiful. Maria checked in several times to make sure we were comfortable, and showed me where the best shopping and the closest route to the beach were! The lemon grove and sun-filled balcony was awesome.

The apartment is in a perfect location for visiting Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento and Pompei. Everything we needed was very close just so convenient. Very comfortable well equipped place that suited us perfectly

Beautiful apartment and friendly host
Right in the center of Piano di Sorrento. 5 min walk to train station. Beautiful spacious apartment with all facilities. 4 stars because there were 3 adults, and the twin beds in the second bedroom were very small - not long enough for me. Maria was very friendly and helpful

A beautiful apartment .
It is a very comfortable apartment. The only negative was the office next door. The walls between very thin and you could hear the phone ringing and them talking. Other than that was wonderful. Maria met us at the station and walked us to the apartment. She was also available any time we needed her.

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Piano Di Sorrento
My wife and I stayed at Casa Vittoria for 10 glorious days in July with our 2 teenage boys. The apartment itself is stylish, spacious, tastefully furnished and beautifully Italian. We found it extremely comfortable, with everything you might need to hand and great air con! You will find that the apartment is also ideally located; within walking distance of a number of great restaurants, bars, shops, a supermarket, the train station and also the main regional bus stop. We found that public transport was both cheap and regular.
It was the perfect hub for our stay and enabled us to visit many beautiful and historic sites along the Almalfi coast. Maria met us at the apartment on our arrival (despite our flight being delayed meaning we didn't arrive until 2am!) and was extremely helpful in providing the names of local restaurants, the best and most cost-effective ways to view Pompeii, Vesuvius and other attractions, whilst she also helped with many other questions we had throughout our stay.
We would thoroughly recommend Casa Vittoria (and Maria) - we can't wait to return the next time we are looking to visit Sorrento and the beautiful Almalfi coast.

The apartment and location were both great!
We stayed in the apartment for three nights. It is a beautiful, spacious apartment, right in the middle of Piano di Sorrento in a great shopping street with restaurants, coffee places and several supermarkets very close by. Free private garage parking 3 minute walk down the road. We drove to Pompeii (40 minutes) and the Amalfi Coast (30 minutes, start early!)
We communicated with Maria, who was very flexible about our arrival time and there to meet us with the key and take us to the parking garage. Highly recommend this property.

Maria was wonderful. She set us up with Donald for private boating. I was unbelievably! Maria also recommended a delicious shop just down for the apartment. It was one of our favorite spaces we visited!

Very Nice Apatment
The apartment is great! Very spacious, clean and well taken care of! It is 10 min away from Sorrento by car. It has their own parking for free, if you have a car.
Maria's parents were very nice, and they explain everything we needed to know.
There are two supermarkets a block away, very convinient!

A perfect base camp for visiting all that Naples, Capri and the Amalfi Coast have to offer
The place is great and the owners are even greater. They went out of their way to make sure we got into the property, even though we were very late to arrive. They gave us all kinds of tips and really treated us like family. The place is really nice and clean with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The rooms are larger than typical European rooms and each room had a separate A/C unit and balcony. I think the living room also had a sleep sofa, although we didn't need it as we were just 2 couples. The location is really good with walking distance to the train, which for a couple of Euro's can take you to Sorrento or Naples. In Sorrento ( 2 stops away) you can take a ferry ride to Capri. From Naples you can get to Pompeii and Vesuvius. I recommend both. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance and the prices are much lower than in Sorrento. The rental included an under ground private parking garage if you have a car. I suggest getting one and driving the Amalfi Coast. The views are breathtaking. For me the drive was entertaining. For others it was like a roller coaster ride. In Italy traffic lights, Stop and Yield's are pretty much ignored! Its like driving in Manhattan, only 10 times worse!
I would stay here again should I return. I don't think you can find a better place for the money and location. If you want views of the coast or mountains you will need to spend more and look elsewhere. For us it was perfect.

7 Great Days
My son and I spent 7 days in this apartment. We used it as our base to explore the Amalfi Coast and surrounding areas. The apartment has all the modern European conveniences and a great parking garage included. It is within walking distance of 2 grocery stores and many good restaurants. The town is very safe at night so walking was no problem. Maria was great, she was always available and always helpful. This really felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed spending time on the terrace and eating the freshly picked oranges from the grove next door. Would definitely recommended staying here.

Can’t go wrong in Piano di Sorrento
Loved the blend of old with new. Maria and her family take care of all your needs, just ask. This location is situated perfectly to use as a home base to adventure out into the touristy spots. I didn’t want to be in the middle of the noise, so this place was perfect for me. Although smaller, Piano di Sorrento still has a night life compatible with anyone’s taste unless you are a hard core party animal. Mere minutes walking from the train station or buses. The train is easy to navigate into Napoli or Sorrento or places in between. Bakieries, fresh fish and grocery stores are close at hand. The apartment is outfitted nicely, with everything a basic chef needs to cook a meal. You won’t be sorry if you are lucky enough to secure this location for your next trip and big enough for a family of four to six in my opinion

We enjoyed our 6 weeks at Casa Vittoria in April and May of 2017. Piano di Sorrento is well-located to take advantage of the entire Amalfi Penninsula. Sorrento is 15 minutes away by EAV bus (€2.20 each way.) Positano and the entire Amalfi Coast are only 30-45 minutes away by SITA bus from Sorrento (€2.80 each way.) Ercolano (Herculaneum), Pompeii and Naples (and therefore Rome and cities beyond) were accessible by the Circumvesuviana train (price depends upon destination but always cheap), a short walk from the apartment.
Maria met us at the Circumvesuviana train station in Piano when we arrived. She pointed out the grocery stores, fish market and green grocer for us as well as the bus stop (just outside the building’s door) on our way. She was available throughout our stay by phone or text and responded immediately to our needs.
The apartment was clean and quiet. The kitchen is well-equipped to cook as much (or as little) as you like. Almost anything you might need, including several green grocers, fish markets, farmacias and grocery stores – and gelato - are within a five-minute walk along Corso Italia.
There are two bedrooms and 2 baths – guests are welcome. The beds were comfortable and linen exchanges are available upon request at a reasonable cost. The terrace over-looking a fruit orchard and the mountains separating Piano from the Amalfi Coast provided many hours of entertainment watching the neighborhood cats as well as a relaxing place to sit in the morning and evening in good weather.
We highly recommend Casa Vittoria. It is reasonably priced and we never regretted our choice during our 6 weeks exploring the whole Amalfi Peninsula.

We had a great stay. Maria met us when we arrived. The apartment was clean, spacious and had an amazing view from the terrace where we would enjoy an evening glass of wine. It was also very close to the train station which made it easy to get around. I would highly recommend staying there.

Spacious, well equipped apartment. Convenient location to restaurants, supermarkets and 5 minute walk to the Train station to travel to Sorrento.
Quiet and very secure.
My only negative comment would be, that the settee for relaxing is in the main bedroom, which was inconvenient when travelling with another couple.
Also there was no dishwasher.

This apartment was perfect for our visit to the area. It's clean, comfortable and exactly as described. As is often the case, our travel plans went awry and we were late to meet Marie... She was gracious and accommodating. We appreciate having complete privacy, yet knew that she was only a phone or text away if we had any questions.
Having never visited the area, when booking the apartment we had not realized that Piano di Sorrento is a bit away from the main hubbub. But what a blessing! The train station is only a couple of blocks away and then we'd be in the marina in the center of Sorrento within ten minutes. It was busy and loud in that resort area, but a world away at the apartment.
We will certainly recommend this charming apartment to anyone who is looking for a place for their visit to the Sorrento and Almalfi areas!

The apartment is located in Piano de Sorrento which is a 7-10 minute train ride from the center of Sorrento. It's location is in a non tourist area, which is nice because there are cheaper shops, restaurants, and almost no tourist volume.
The apartment is on the third floor, there is an elivator to get up. The apartment was bigger than expected, and very very clean, it is simple but has beautiful decor. The beds are very comfortable with one King and two twins and a sofa bed, the bathrooms look like they're brand new and the main bathroom has a big tub and shower.
