Śniadanie było smaczne. Obiekt jest na końcu wyspy, wszędzie można dojść pieszo.

W opisie obiektu jest parking, którego de facto na miejscu nie ma. Dowiedziałem się o tym już po dokonaniu rezerwacji. Parking płatny, prowadzony przez zewnętrzne przedsiębiorstwo, bez możliwości rezerwacji znajduje się w pobliżu - skorzystałem i porysowali mi samochód. Łóżko było zdecydowanie za miękkie. Ściany są bardzo cienkie i słychać każdy oddech sąsiadów. Obsługa ma gości w nosie: kiedy wszedłem do recepcji oddać klucze, przy biurku siedział facet i palił papierosa (wewnątrz pomieszczenia) - koszmar.

Di Lage der Unterkunft ist gut und zentral. Zum ein und ausladen von Gepäck kann man am Hotel parken. Es gibt auch einen Aufzug um das Gepäck zu befördern.

An der Rezeption wurde leider nur wenig englisch gesprochen. Das Haus hat zur Zeit ein Baugerüst und es wird auch tagsüber sehr laut. Das Zimmer 24 ging von der Ausstattung gar nicht und das Bad hat gerochen. Wir haben uns dann beschwert und haben das Zimmer 25 bekommen. Die Ausstattung ging so und ist sehr basic eingerichtet. Gerüst vor den Fenstern (Aussicht :-( ). Sauberkeit ging so. Frühstück sehr Basic. Wir haben dann lieber in der Stadt gefrühstückt.

The location is really great, right in the heart of Ortigia, which allows for many charming walks at sunset. Staff were really nice, and check-in was painless.

This is a place where you get what you pay for, so the basic amenities were included but not much else. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear everyone else in the building at night. The shower was somewhat grody and the hot water kicked out after not very long.

Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt mit kurzen Wegen zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung.

I'm Bad hat es bei ungünstigem Wind unangenehm gerochen. Es gab kein Duschgel und kein Shampoo.

Even though it's a B&B, it's more like a hotel. The balcony view was astonishing, and all the staff members were polite and helpful.

We found a cockroach-looking bug in the bathroom.

The room was spacious. Staff friendly. Good spread for breakfast, could have offered fruit.

The photos lie. There is no nice balcony. Bed very soft and no mattress cover on mattress. So many levels to go up and down and you had to cross to another building for breakfast up three flights of stairs. Felt like student accommodation for the price. Rooms were not cleaned each day although staff kept knocking on our door to clean it.

WIFI was included but didn't work and the host was not able to solve it. That meant no TV. Disappointing when promised.

Location in the heart of the historic area; convenient garage nearby despite its high price; nice view from the window over the skyline of Ortigia (Ortigia is the name of the island with the old city of Syracuse) and the bells of the church on the other side of the street; the balcony with its furnishing; the small fridge inside the room; the practical room’s furniture; tasty breakfast with many options, the good coffee and remarkable cappuccino making process;

The bathroom is small; the shower cabin is very small; no toothbrush holders in the bathroom; stench pervades the bathroom; the bathroom’s taps do not have marks for hot and cold water (even the different taps possess different sides of hot and cold water); no glasses in the room; our room (15) wasn't soundproof; would be nice if breakfast starts earlier; difficult or expensive parking (20 euro on our stay);

The friendly welcome from Bianca at Maison Ortigia on arrival, the cleanliness & quality of my room & the location was perfect. Surrounded by all the history & beauty Ortigia has to offer, not to say the many varieties of places to stop & enjoy an apertivo, a coffee & delicious Sicilian pastries or something more substantial it's all there waiting for you to discover it! There's also a small lift to use whenever needed. A bonus after a big day out wandering all little alley ways & walking the promenade around this delightful place. The views & the crystal clear water so inviting, highly recommended!

The breakfast was amazing, large selection of food and good choices. Very welcoming staff. Very clean, and well kept rooms. Amazing location.

View from the window- it was either a wall of another building or a balcony of opposite flat. Also, there were no coffee/ tea facilities in room.

the breakfast was very nice, many choices, very good lokality, very close to the restaurants, sea view, historical and romantic streets.

we had problems with outdoor roles, but staff was very willing to fix the problem immidietly.

The location and the room was a big size.

From the outside it doesn’t look very inviting but with his cheap it is, the price matches the accommodation.

A modern and a bit shabby building, but very clean, quiet and super central just a few steps from the Duomo and Via Roma.

Location - In the center of Ortigia and very close to the Duomo. The adjacent streets were nice and safe. The staff - the staff was very friendly and communicative. The breakfast - the breakfast had many options and it was pretty ok for the price paid

The overall condition. I knew beforehand that I wasn’t booking a room at the Four Seasons or the Ritz. But still, even considering the price I paid, I was very disappointed. I was in a back room of the building with a view to and indoor backyard (clearly not matching the pictures), and with very little light. one of the curtains was broken, the lamp on the bed stand was not working. Also the bathroom was not in any better condition: there was mold on the ceiling and the toilet smelled bad. The furniture as tacky (but, then again, I know what I was paying for), and the room was cold. This ended up affecting my experience in Ortigia (which is an amazing place!), and I really think that there are better options around that area, regarding price/quality ratio. I would not recommend, and I really don’t understand the high rating.
