Exceptional hotel, sterilized clean with great proximity to all sight and restaurants in the historic area of Ioannina. We booked the triple 36 sqm room on the mezzanine and we're impressed from the tideness, comfort of the €4.000 hypnos mattress the aura or the appartment and the decoration. Exposed stone with 8 wooden gray windows,soundproof and an exceptionally crafted wooden floor. The natural light inside the appointment is out of this world and gives a natural almost divine effect. Owners one step ahead especially Mr Nikos that has reserved us a parking spot with a special license and made our stay convenient. His wife Dimitra made probably the best cake (pasta flora) in Ipiros region. Breakfast was served cooked on spot and it was made with local ingredients. Overall a great experience that pleased us and became part of our "must visit again" locations. Visit Oct 23

Parking is a bit of a hassle but understandable since it is inside the castle walls.

This Inn has been completely remodeled with everything new and improved to the most updated décor. Attention to detail is shown in every area. This was truly an amazing place, so beautiful. The owner said it was his childhood home and they had remodeled it. They did very good. It is very close to everything since you are in the castle walls. Mostly homes such as this Inn or homes turned into Inns located here with a few stores. The shopping and restaurants are located outside the walls along a beautiful lake that is breathtaking. All very close to this location and easy to walk to.

Its hard to find much not to like since this place is beautiful. I do want to share since I travel a lot that the location is within an old castle so the roads to get to it can be difficult to maneuver. They are larger than others I have been through but with other cars parking it can become tight. It is best to park near the lake entrance and walk in. There are areas to drop off your bags to be closer to the Inn but hard to find parking inside the walls. They do give you a pass to park there once you check in but we could not find a spot. It was a weekend and very busy. You also have to take suitcases up stairs or down some. There is an elevator but you still need to access some stairs. The owners and staff are very helpful at all times. If you are not driving then it is not a problem of course.....taxi's know what they are doing!

excellent room very comfortable amazing historical building

Excellent location, no car needed as everything is easily accessible on foot. Also very quiet so one really enjoys soundless sleep. The premises is very stylish, new and very well kept, clean and comfortable. There is no reception but there is always staff around when it is needed. I should also mention how safe I felt, travelling solo, with 3 doors between the street and my room. The staff is the kindest people, very friendly and eager to cater for every need. Breakfast was more than tasty with endless variety and items to chose from.

Awesome place to stay inside the castle of Ioannina. Bright and clean rooms that help you relax. Mr Nikos the owner was a very warm and generous host as well as the staff. Nice traditional breakfast with many choices in a very cozy breakfast area. Also, the place is greatly located in walkable distance from the lake and the heart of the city where lots of cafes and restaurants are.
