Right from the get-go this was clearly a great place to stay. We were late arriving due to traffic but the host was very understanding and waiting to welcome us outside the building. The apartment is very clean with plenty of room to relax. A very good kitchen/ dinner made self catering simple, the living room is large and fully furnished with plenty of seating. There is also a secure drying room on the ground floor for ski/ walking gear. Parking just outside the front door and places to eat/ drink out just round the corner. Wertach is quite a compact village that has a couple of supermarkets and shops. It even has a couple of bakers that open early for fresh bread. A great location for easy access to local skiing/ walking.

We liked everything about the apartment and village. Just to note there is no fuel station in Wertach, but no big deal plenty in local towns (6-8 km)
