It was our second stay there. This time it was even better than before, as the owners have built extra facility for serving buffet breakfast, also a great library space, with an awesome fireplace (we really must go there sometime in the winter, if only for experiencing the coziness and wonderful relaxation in that space). Rooms as comfortable as we knew them. Very nice wide and sunny garden ( orchard) in the back. Excellent local products served for breakfast and 2-4 persons platters to go with any of their excellent wines in their special coolers. Great trekking around the picturesque villages. Bikes for rent nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff on the premises. Quite often, they would organise a nice campfire for the guests to sit around, chat, or just enjoy the evening fresh air and quiet village atmosphere.

absolutely stunning property! Just an amazing place to be and relax. The village itself is like stepping back in time, while the hotel is beautifully restored, traditional architecture but modern at the same time, very tasteful. There are drinks and wines available on a self service basis and some apero plates you can order in the garden or inside. Breakfast also very good, filled with traditional meats and cheeses too. We were there in the height of summer, but I could imagine this place being a treat in other seasons too.

One of the property dogs (while they are nice, and I’m not a dog person so it says a lot) kept on coming to our table waiting to get pieces of meat from the platter we had ordered. We pushed him away but he was very hard to get rid of.

The location and property are absolutely beautiful, the owners are super helpful and attentive. Breakfast is delicious. We had optional dinner only once but it was great, with original options for vegetarians. Staying here was definitely a highlight of our trip :) The remote location is adding to the charm - its so calm and relaxing!

If I really have to try to find any minus I could say that the carpets in the room could be vaccumed better, but everything else was very clean.

Great location and sorroundings, unlimited space for walking and/or biking on the beautiful hills in nature. Staff was very kind and helpful and assisting even with preparation of meal with special diet requirements. Great food. Confortable clean and beautiful accomodation.

During our stay it was ongoing construction works during daytime on the property which created noise and made difficult resting after lunch. However, we would like to return.

Everything was absolutely perfect, food for breakfast and dinner, location, drinks, the host, Adrian was the most helpful and nice person ever, always careful with his guests needs. I would recommend this oasis in the middle of Transylvania!
