Me + 17 others were looking for a short budget weekend getaway and the property was perfect for that. The kitchen made cooking easy and fun, the social spaces were comfortable and had room, and the location is great. During our stay Penny from management answered any and all questions very very quickly which was greatly appreciated. She was knowledgeable of the area and was willing to go above and beyond with helping us enjoy our stay. If you’re debating between 2 properties, one thing a listing won’t tell you is about the management. This property’s management was caring and made our trip so so easy. No hidden fees, no crazy cleanup routine, and no bs. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you!!!

Great house with a great location to the beach!

Ten veterans met up. We had great amount of space. The accommodations were perfect for this group. Each of us had our own space, but we also had multiple places inside and out for two or three of us to have smaller group conversations. It was exactly what we needed. We ranged in age between 68 and 79.

This house is perfect Poor large gatherings! The pool is beyond amazing, the string lights at night put on a whole vibe! The heated water was so nice and warm for the kids. I truly had a great time at this house. There are two refrigerators! It was even an ice machine for abundant ice. They have truly thought of everything. Great homes for friends/family reunions.

Property worked very well for our family at all levels. Recreation was great and kitchen was functional. Beach toys and pool stuff was great, excellent location. Parking was tougher than we thought for 4 large vehicles. Washing all linens before exit was a chore we didn't expect. Caught one mouse in the kitchen and saw one more. Would rent again and just plan for those items. How early can the house be booked ahead of time? Bookings for next year, two years out open?

This was our second stay at this house and we had a great time! We enjoyed the pool and being so close to the beach. There was plenty of room for it party of 10 to hang out and dine all together.

This was great summer fun for a big group. Great location to beach. The beach access at this location has nice walkway for ease of walking on hot sand, so nice. Big, well stocked kitchen with ice maker-great idea. 5 big bathrooms, updated. Rooms on smaller side, but clean and manageable, no one complained. Pool was a real bonus and well stocked with chairs and toys. Plus easy to maintain, with auto-cover. Basement ping pong table got lots of play. Big outdoor area too with nice lighting made for lovely evening meals for everyone to relax at end of day. We are already looking at next year!

Excellent house! We had 9 adults and 4 kids and everyone had enough room and comfort. The owner was great, and the house was stocked with toys, beach chairs, and games!

We had an excellent stay at this property. It is a short walk to the beach (usually the 2-3 year olds could walk to and from the beach without being carried), has lots of places to sleep, and a nice pool for our kids’ ages (0-10). There were a few small issues, but the owner was responsive via text. One thing we didn’t like about the house is that there is only one bathroom on the main floor with a lot of bedrooms (6?). The other bathrooms are located in the basement, and the stairs are pretty sleep for little ones to manage independently. This was only an issue because we like to allocate one bathroom/family. The cleaning fee is pretty steep considering that you have to strip all beds and make sure all towels are washed and dried before check out at 10 am. This is a challenge if you have morning showers, but possibly worth it since they supply so many bath and beach/pool towels. The house came with tons of extras that we weren’t expecting and were happy with. There was a keurig stocked with coffee k-cups, soap and TP in every bathroom, body wash/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the showers, lots of pool toys in the shed, a high chair, a mini crib, and some kitchen staples. Overall, we had a great stay and will likely try to return next summer!

We stayed on this property with four families with young kids. The property was clean and spacious enough for everyone to relax. Tons of sleeping space and plenty of bathrooms. The pool area was clean and well stocked with toys, and the staircase to the deck gives a beautiful view of the lake and sunset. We had a great kickoff to summer break here, thanks!!

Easy walk to the beach. Pool was nice with automatic cover. Great view from the observation deck. Large freshly updated bathrooms. Separate ice maker was an added benefit.

Love the location, the perfect weekend getaway spot for our family!

With a large kitchen, NINE (9)! bedrooms and FIVE (5!) bathrooms, this was a great space for our family of 18 (ages 10 weeks to 72). The backyard pool and next-door platform for seeing the vista and Lake Michigan were terrific. The walk to the beach was about 3 minutes (that includes shepherding 5 children, ages 4,4,5,7 and 8). We walked to the Washington Park Zoo and to the nearby park for play time.

We had a great time in this house. It was large enough for our party of 20. Every thing was clean and as described or nicer. The beach really is super close. We would definitely stay here again. The listing doesn’t make this clear, but the pool is behind a locked gate from the rest the patio, which we appreciated because we had small children in our party.

Great property for families - clean, pleasing, roomy, etc.

Our stay here was very nice. Bedrooms a little small and we had problems with the pool the first few days, but all in all we really enjoyed the property and the location. The property manager was outstanding and did everything she could to correct any problems and made sure that we had a great stay. I would definetly rent this property again.

Overall everything was very good.

We had a great family week with 14 people, including 5 kids under 6. Really loved the pool which is perfect for little kids. Kitchen was perfect for family meals. The property manager was very responsive.

Our family totally enjoyed this home. Short walk to a beautiful beach, close to a beautiful park, the zoo and downtown Michigan City.

Property is on a corner and traffic noise in the bedrooms was consistent. There for less than 48 hours due to late checkin and early checkout times. Door code did not let us in, had to wait to be let in. Cleaning fee seems high when you have to strip the beds yourself and wash and dry towels. Will not return.

Lots of room for friends and family to stay. Great common areas for everyone to mingle and hang out. Plenty of room for everyone to stay the night and have their own space and plenty of bathrooms to accommodate everyone. Great location to beach and also great outdoor space with pool.

This place was amazing! Super short walk to the beach and if you didn't feel like making the walk, the pool is nearby. We had a large group stay here for a wine tour and it was perfect. Everyone had their own rooms and there were two fridges and ovens so we could cook for the group at home. The floor was kind of gross... we walked around with no shoes on and our feet were black... but that was really the only downside. We went at the end of the busy beach season, so I imagine they'd had a lot of traffic over the last few months. Everything was great! Thank you!!

We very much enjoyed our stay. There were 11 of us who stayed for 2 nights. Plenty of room. The pool was lovely. We liked the privacy we had there. It was a short walk to the beach. And the observation deck on the hill overlooking the lake was spectacular. The 1st floor bathroom didn't work properly. But someone was there very quickly to fix the issue. The only negatives was that the floors were dirty from the moment we arrived. And my deposit took almost 2 weeks to be refunded. They need to reevaluate their cleaning company. Overall it was a fun trip.We'd stay again.

There was plenty of space for celebrating my wife’s 50th with family and friends. Easily accommodated a party of 16. Very clean and close to the beach. Pool was great to have this time of year. Everyone enjoyed themselves very much!

We were fortunate that this property opened up at the last minute for the 4th of July week. It turned out to be a great house for us with multiple families groups coming together. There were 17 of us total and the house had plenty of room for us to spread out. We cooked in the kitchen daily, and the two refrigerators were a blessing. Also got good use of the outdoor grill. The pool was a huge bonus, there are not many houses that close to the beach with a pool. There are stairs to manage in the house , which at first I was concerned about but my 92 year old mother in law was able to manage them fine. There is also a nice area outside to store bikes, and beach things as well as a basement which is ground level with two doors opening to the outside providing another area to securely store things. There were about 10 beach chairs available in property to use. You need to bring your own beach towels. We would stay again. Thanks!

Everyone had a wonderful time. One complaint was the Wi-Fi. It didn't work well. I had several people working from home. The pool was wonderful and the service when we needed it was very prompt. Thank you for that. I would consider renting again.

Exactly as pictured. So great to have the pool, especially this year during COVID. We had all the activity we needed right at the house and pool. Easy walk to the beach for a sunset or two. Lots of golf courses nearby. Meijer and other stores around for whatever we forgot!

This house is perfect for a family vacation! The pool is awesome, the crow’s nest has a great view of the lake, and the close proximity to the beach is a definite plus.
