This house was very well laid out and the space was used creatively and effectively. It was comfortable with ample seating accommodations inside and outside. The house isn’t huge but most of the rooms are spaced out well enough to make the home feel larger than it is. The backyard was beautifully landscaped and the furnishings were perfect for a larger number of guests. The hot tub isn’t a bad touch either. Very enjoyable after a swim in the lake. Overall this was a great home. And being only about a 7 minute walk to a nice small beach area, I’d absolutely stay here again.

This property had everything we needed and more! It is well equipped and we loved that we could walk to the Lake Forest Beach which never seemed crowded. We did the float down the river which the young children enjoyed along with our dog. Don't hesitate to book this lovely house.

This home was very cozy and comfortable for family members who joined our trip -- great walking trails nearby in forest, by beach, short drive away from city. House was well equipped with cooking amenities and starter spices. Enclosed backyard huge bonus for dog and us! Front balcony where grill is located could use upgrades in furniture, while back patio garden and tables and hottub was fantastic!

We had a great ski weekend at the house, which is conveniently located between Palisades and Northstar. It’s also a quick 5 minute drive into Tahoe City. The house has a great setup and is perfect for a group of family/friends. Can’t wait to go back!

Booked this house for a ski trip with a group of friends and had the best time. The house was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. Loved that they had a binder with all of the instructions printed out for everyone in my group to refer to. One of the toilets was leaking at the bottom but they sent someone right away to fix it once I notified them. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had such a great time. A couple of issues came up like my mother-in-law needed a heater because she was a little bit cold, and they found one for us and delivered it right away. Everything in the kitchen is well appointed. And the house is laid out very nicely. The place could not have been better for us.

Everything about the property was first-class - the house was decorated for the holidays, everything was well-documented and clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed to keep a family of nine well-fed! Lovely back yard, the hot tub was a real treat. Just can't say enough good things about it - and the towns nearby had great shopping and entertainment! Only downside was no snow, but we'll definitely try again next year!

Very spacious home, well-stocked kitchen, gas fireplace, well-maintained hot tub. Beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets and linens. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Great rental home and rental company was very engaged. Would definitely come back!

We had a perfect Christmas! The house is extremely comfortable in every way. We really appreciated the holiday decorations that created a homey and festive environment. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and spacious enough for everyone to cook and gather. The fenced yard meant that our beloved lab could join us without worry! Thank you!!!

We had a terrific stay at Sugar pine Chalet! We had two families of 5 that fit just fine in the cabin. Kitchen table was great for board and card games, spa was a hit for the kids, kitchen fully stocked, plenty of space for everyone to have their own space! Convenient location to Tahoe City and a 20 minute drive to NorthStar. The road outside was the perfect sledding hill in the snow. Great winter getaway!

Sugarpine chalet was very comfortable for our adult family of 7. It was beautifully decorated, well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen had everything one would need.
There were a few things amiss, minor things, such as lights that didn’t work, but as a second home VRBO owner myself, I know that these things can happen. We left a note with the management company letting them know.
Should we want to holiday together in Tahoe again, we will certain be back.

Number of bedrooms, baths, open area, kitchen, yard and deck perfect for our group of 3 families and a dog. Well stocked and convenient to walking, beach and dog beach. Clean except for living room carpet that left us with dirty feet.

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Close to Tahoe City and many beaches, we could easily access everything Lake Tahoe has to offer. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Definitely would stay again!

Great home for families near quiet beach
This was an incredible house!! I was shocked at how well stocked this home was. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook each night, including an instant pot. It was a short walk from the cutest coffee shop and then a few more minutes to the most amazing beach, Skylandia State Park. This beach was never packed and great for kids to play at. There was plenty of parking. We will definitely be back.

Wedding/Vacation Get away!!
This house/property and overall contact with Debi & Stacy was an incredible experience!! The house was very clean, fenced in yard beautiful, all of the amenities you could possibly need and walking distance to our niece's wedding at Skylandia! Great family place!

Week in Lake Tahoe
Wonderful week in a beautiful house in a great location. Enjoyed the hot tub on the cool evenings, and had easy access to free transportation to Tahoe City, which was just a short drive. All in all, every one of us (ranging in age from 12 to 74) just had a great week.

Property was well kept and cozy. It had everything we needed to make our stay cozy. Very convenient distance to Safeway, cvs, and kings beach, and North Star. The yard was perfect for our 2 dogs and the jacuzzi was a nice touch. Plenty of parking for 3 cars.

Overall fantastic property
We stayed at the sugarpine chalet for a few nights for a ski weekend. The house is the best stocked kitchen that I have seen in a vrbo. The house is extremely convenient to groceries, shops, skiing, and the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable and the quality of the bedding was great. Hot tub and bbq are an added bonus, as well as the fenced in yard. Would 100% recommend this home!

A wonderful family vacation home
We loved our time at this beautiful house! A beautiful kitchen and table for family dinners and a large living room for movie/game nights. Very close to Palisades and Alpine, as well as Tahoe City with fun stores and restaurants! Will definitely be back.

5 of us and our dog stayed in the home. It is the most well-stocked & comfortable home we've ever rented. Due to a record-breaking storm, all the roads were closed on our check-out day. Stacey kept us informed and calm on a stressful day.

Wonderful trip
My friends and I really enjoyed the Lake Forest chalet. The house was very clean, the kitchen was modern and had nice amenities. The beds were comfortable and my dog loved the backyard which had two wood decks, and a hot tub. Definitely will rent the house again.
