Beautiful apartments set among lots of pink bougainvillea. They are basic but spotlessly clean and very comfortable, perfect for a family holiday. Cot set up for our daughter when we arrived and we couldn't believe how lovely the place was, including the wonderful staff and excellent home-cooked food. Great facilities, including the lovely pool area and so close to the beach. Everyone who works there is so friendly and accommodating, we felt so welcome and our 2 year old daughter had a fantastic time too. We will definitely be returning when we can, thank you to everyone there for such a special holiday!

The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful, a gorgeous setting filled with flowers and super clean. Staff were constantly on hand and friendly. The breakfasts were generous and plentiful and the cocktails I had were also very good. Highly recommend their Greek salad too. My room was kept lovely and clean, with a little kitchenette that I would have used if I'd stayed there a bit longer. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was of a great standard - no issues with water pressure or heat that some of my friends in other hotels reported! The pool area was a great suntrap, plenty of sun beds for everyone and the pool was clean, and a cold reprieve when it was hot! In terms of location, you had the best of both worlds - close enough to the beach and action whilst also being on a quieter street. Hersonissos strip and Malia were only short taxis, and the airport was also approx 15-20mins away. I would have loved to stay for more days and would consider coming back there, if I travel to Crete again.

I don't really have any complaints. I guess I would have needed some more utensils for food prep (like a decent knife, there were only butter knives) if I was preparing food but a good chopping board and 2 ring burner in situ. I'm sure that staff would have helped with this, if I asked for it.

We liked the setting. It was like entering an oasis. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were excellent. The bougainvillea and flowers generally. The breakfast . it was within easy reach of some excellent restaurants.

The food in the evening and the area in which it is situated is not that attractive

This apartments / hotel was excellent in all respects.

The hotel is like a garden. Flowers bloom just next to your door. Location is great. The beach is just round the corner by walking 2-3min.

Food is average. Breakfast is almost all the same everyday. You have to pay drinks for dinner with the half-board option, which is not clearly written in the description.

In overall it is a beautiful property thanks to the well-maintained cottages and natural flower trees which give this hotel a unique charm (and a very needed shade in summer!). The pool and the whole property is clean. Quiet. Good WiFi.

The weakest was food (breakfast and dinner included in the daily rate). Very basic and from rather cheap ingredients. I didn't enjoy any of the food the hotel served! Only cocktails (paid extra) were tasty ;-)

The flowers around the apartments were beautiful. The cleaning ladies were very friendly and attentive.

We booked this hotel because of the very good reviews, unfortunately we had a different experience here. We stayed in a lot of family hotels before and love the atmosphere - this hotel misses love. As we arrived in the evening the check in was unorganized and the “receptionist” not very friendly. Dinner was disappointing, the choice of food is almost none. Only one main meal - no vegetarian main meal! Really inattentive stuff at breakfast and dinner. Rooms are missing style and the furniture is really old. The kitchen in the apartment ist bad organized - no real knifes, no pans and pots. The WiFi isn’t working properly. We had two apartments, at two different buildings - internet was bad in both. Working from here was impossible. The sink was broken in one of our apartments! We couldn’t even wash our hands there because water was going on the floor. The stuff was aware of that problem and still they gave us the room explaining they will fix it - which they didn’t do for the first three days (we stayed a total of 5 days). No one even apologized for the inconvenience or offered another solution like a different apartment. And there is more to say but long story short WE CANT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!

the bougainvilliers are literally amazing, all room have their own balcony, really quiet during the day and the swimming pool area is really to enjoy and relax. the breakfast around the pool is a must and the dinner is simple but terribly efficient and good I would come back without hesitation if we stay again in this area

beautiful authentic greek hotel. Very charming. Not to big, just pleasant size. Very clean, great food and lovely staff.

Everything . Walking through the hotel to reception took me away on holiday. Flowers everywhere in a beautifully kept garden. The room was very comfortable and clean . The hotel is in a small road just a few minutes from the beach in a little village away from the busy touristy areas further down the coast. The staff were extremely friendly and professional . The food was extremely good and there was lots of variety every day.

Staff were friendly and hospitable. Location was perfect, it is 3 min beach walking distance and there are many beaches for every taste. Walking to Hersonossos took us around an hour by easy stages. Food was delicious though variety was not big but everything was homemade, tasty and organic. Every day dishes were different and fresh. Territory of the hotel is well maintained and full of beautifull flowers. Absolutely recommend this place!

Strong fried smell on the second floor and closed bathroom on the first floor near the restaurant during the day time. And we have got binary bed instead of double one.

This place exceeded our expectations. The food here was the best food we've ever had at a hotel in our life! For breakfast there was so much to choose from, we honestly go so excited for breakfast everyday. The dinners were unreal, the pastries were amazing. The staff were so attentive. The rooms are basic but for the little we paid you honestly can't complain. The hotel its self is very beautiful, all draped with flowers. Very peaceful, no noise from outside. The location was perfect, 20mins from airport, the main bus route to Malia, Agios Nikolaosis, Heraklion is a 10 minute walk up the road, loads of restaurants and supermarkets on the beach front which is a couple minutes down the road. We will definitely be returning to this hotel!

The only thing that we found strange in our room was that there was no shower holder, so when we showered we had to hold it or we took it in turns to hold it for each other.

Generally it could be a nice hotel, however not with children. The breakfast was really good and the flowers around makes it lovely. The towels were exchanged every 2 days.

Unfortunatelly it was not possible to use the swimmingpool because the water was really too cold. Nobody was using it, it stood empty the whole time we were there and the hotel was full of guests, it only makes a nice atmosphere. The most horrible thing for me was no hot water in the morning and after dinner!!! After 7 p.m. there was only cold water, it was something I cannot stand and due to the fact that we travelled with 2 y. daugther it was just not acceptable. I was informed that just too many guests came one day, but it was happening every day :-( I believe that the problem was that they have too little barrels for water on the roof for all guests, but I expect hot water during the whole day even in a hostel. The other not nice thing was that the towels had some dirty spots, they were definitely washed but nobody care for the spots to bleach them :-( Something what was very irritating was that we heard every noise from the kitchen till midnight! We heard every plate washed and every piece of cutllery and everything what was falling on the floor suddenly... And it was very hard to make our daughter to sleep when it was so noisy, even we had some problems to fall asleep... Don't agree on a room in the main building! It is not a hotel for children, besides chairs kids there was nothing for children, no swing, no toy, no place to play just nothing to do in a free time.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff and good food. It was a very nice experience for us, we had a great time. The rooms look exactly like in the pictures, someone comes and cleans up everything every 2 days. They have a good value for the dinner, when you can choose between a cheap, fixed price per person for a buffet, or order a-la-carte.

We liked it from the first minute. We were greeted very warmly. There was a late check-in, but dinner was left for us. Paul told everything about the hotel and led to the rooms. There were very clean, racy, and comfortable. Small and pleasant area, lots of flowers, a restaurant by the pool. Excellent breakfasts and dinners. Very tasty food. Breakfasts are more repetitive, dinners were different every day. It is a quiet place where you can enjoy the peace and comfort. If you love a secluded relaxing vacation this is the right place.

Paul and Marie were very helpful and always with a smile bending over backwards to cater for all guest requests. Mama Froso is an amazing traditional Greek food cook who changed the evening menu daily always surprising us with tasty local meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. Lovely walkways around the complex and a small but spotless swimming pool was available waiting to refresh you from the Cretan sun. A boutique hotel for the down to Earth tourist. Value for money 🙂

Hotel staff are passionate about providing excellent service. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms simple but comfortable with everything required for our stay. Breakfast and dinner served buffet style. Meals rotated with different options each evening. Tasty home cooked food. Really enjoyable stay.

I’m afraid my bedroom had no natural light/windows. Felt very claustrophobic, the bed wasn’t comfortable and the shower wasn’t freestanding (ie you had to hold it above your head) Didn’t let it ruin my stay though.

Great value for money. Food was totally decent. The place is in general more beautiful that what it looks like on the photos.

Rooms are very basic and old and quite small. Pool is too small for the number of occupants in the summer.

The hotel is very charming, with a lot of flowers. The owner family is very nice and welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfortable and calm. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and we liked it. There was a nice mixture between Greek specialties and international food.

We came back after 8 years and saw many improvements, place is as magical as years before but kept well up to date. Staff is very helpfull and always smiling. Thank you Pavlos & Marie, we will be happy to come back again.

Very nice family-run hotel. Very nice pool areas and flowers everywhere. The breakfast and dinner changed every day and was really homemade and delicious. Would really recommend the place!

Not that I wanted to cook myself, but there was not that much equipment in the kitchen. Just so people who plan on cooking themselves know it ;)

We liked everything. We choose it for our honneymoon and it was an excelent choice. The personal and owners : Marie & Paul are the best - super friendly and very helpfull with all we needed/ asked. They made us feel excelent all the time. We liked the location and the food made there. The position of the hotel is very near to stores and beaches. The room was cozy and the bed super comfy. We enjoyed every second there!! Good job guys - pls keep it thay way! 👌🤗🎉

More than excellent dinner meals buffet, good breakfast, nice eating area, polite and helpful owners and staff, nice and quite secluded from the village apartments environment

Totally family run. Breakfast & evening meal all fresh & again prepared & cooked by the family. Lovely cakes & pastries. Some vegetables grown in their garden. Greek delicacies. Very Covid aware precautions taken. Superb cleanliness. Such friendly staff. A pleasure to stay there.

Perhaps handrails by the tiled steps leading to upstairs apartments. Only the side walls to help climb. But I am over 70 so probably didn’t worry others.
