This locations was beautiful and an easy walk to the beach and historic sites!

We lovvvvvved this place for the location to beaches, marinas, resturants, etc. Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed not having to turn on the TV one time. So much to see and do.

Stayed for. 2.5 days in split - great view & location. If a short trip, would advise staying closer to town as is 15 minutes to Diocletian’s palace Host was responsive & had decent communication. Kitchen is a bit sparse on the cooking tools & would’ve been nice to know that beach towel’s aren’t provided . This may be a Croatian thing, as other properties do provide. Address in VRBO is incorrect, so made navigating back a challenge

Great appartment in an ideal location. Only issue would be limited supply of linen's supplied. Only 1 towel per person and no tea towels.

Very nice and spacious 3 br/2 bath rental in a quiet neighborhood (15-20 minute), easy walk to the historical area. Unit is on the 3rd floor with no elevator but nice views. Tastefully furnished and comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms. Off street parking. Host was very cooperative and easy to communicate with. Restaurants and markets nearby. Definitely would go back.

Maroje was really accommodating - we arrived around midday and could leave our luggage at the apartment prior to checking in early. He also organised a taxi to the airport for our return journey. The apartment is chic, comfortable, nicely decorated and well appointed. It was great to sit on the balcony, take in the sea views and the scent of the mock orange tree in the gardens below. It’s a quiet leafy neighbourhood, minutes from the beach, some great restaurants (including Dvor), local supermarkets and only 10-15mins walk from the historic centre of Split. We had a great time and would really recommend Maroje’s lovely apartment as a base to explore the area.

Very nice apartment, well decorated, close to shopping in the old city as described. Well-suited for two couples visiting the area. I would book this apartment again if I was returning to split.

Everything was spot on. Beautiful accommodations, excellent location and wonderful view from the deck. I highly recommend this stay and the host was very friendly and accommodating.

The location of this VRBO was great. Close to the beach and many restaurants. It included a parking space which was indispensable because street parking was very hard to get. The view of the sea from the balcony was amazing. The home was spacious and clean. But be warned… there are 3 flights of outdoor stairs that must be tackled before reaching the front door. We appreciated the workout.

The apartment has been recently renovated. Excellent condition. Great location: restaurants, bar, coffee, grocery are nearby. About 15 min walk to port, bus station, Diocletian Palace. The apartment is on third floor (second floor to Europeans) which could be a problem if you have issues with stairs. Great internet. Though only a partial view of the sea, it is a nice view.

Amenities were great in this 3 bedroom apartment. Kitchen was wonderful. We loved having coffee on the balcony each morning and wine on it in the evening. Having a washing machine was great we used it often. We had a shortage of wine glasses told the owner who then promptly delivered 4 new glasses. The property was about a 20 minute walk from old town. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Would return!

From the very beginning we felt confident that this property would be perfect. The photos reflected the property perfectly. The owner was responsive to our questions and the location appeared away from the hustle and bustle of Split yet readily accessible. All proved exactly as expected. The owner is very nice and went out of his way to be helpful. The property is beautiful and nicely located near the beach and easily walkable to downtown Split. The neighborhood is peaceful, with numerous good resturants and grocery shopping nearby. We hope to return, for a month next time.

The apartment is stunning . So well made and taken care of. We had everything we needed for our stay. If we needed anything it only took a quick text to our host and he promptly got back with us within the hour. Location was perfect as it allowed us to walk to city center but also check out the beach and neighborhood. We have stayed in many homes and we highly recommend staying here.

We were greeted on arrival and shown how everything worked. Good size apartment in great location. 10 min walk to town, in a quiet neighbourhood. It was decorated lovely with comfy beds and sofa, with everything you need. Bathrooms were large and powerful showers. There was a small balcony for drinks and to relax! Highly reccommend!

Great property in Split - around the corner from Bacvice Beach and a few blocks from a grocery store, and a playground was close by, though Old Town was more than a 15 minute walk. The property was clean and spacious, the only small reasons for a star off there would be the comforters barely covered the beds so it was hard for two people to sleep in one (and there was only one extra blanket for the property), and it would be nice to have laundry detergent there already to help with the washer. Otherwise it was a great experience overall!

The unit was large and excellently located. Would stay again.

Excelent condo and host

Maroje’s apartment was perfect for our family of two adults, two teenagers and two kids. It is so clean and safe, wonderfully decorated, comfortable and furnished with everything we needed for our stay to see Split. We had a little trouble with Google maps but Maroje found us on his moped and led us to the apartment. You can see the sea from the apartment. It’s very close to the beach and about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town. It’s very quiet and safe, and both supermarkets and a bakery are just a few hundred meters down the street. We would definitely stay here again - a wonderful stay!

Tremendous condo in a perfect location. Great rooms fully remodeled and just a perfect place to stay

This was a beautiful house located about 1 mile from the city walls in Split. Marjorie was very accommodating, as we came in late and left really early. Very modern, extremely clean place with comfortable beds.

This was our second time visiting Split so I knew that we wanted to stay close to the Riva, Old Town area and the beach, if possible. The apartment was the best of all worlds. It was spacious and laid out just perfectly for the three of us to enjoy. The view from the 4th floor balcony was wonderful and made for some beautiful sunset photos over Marjan Hill. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to Old Town and the Riva (promenade and ferry dock). Even though it was close to everything, it was very quiet at night. The owners are wonderful and when we had an issue one night with the front door, they were quick to come over and help us out. I can't say enough good things about Butterfly Beach Apartment and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful location. Very clean and modern apartment with 2 rooms and pullout couch. All amenities included....refrigerator was even stocked with drinks! Very helpful hosts. Great apartment for families. Washing machine is super helpful. Right next to best beach. Minutes to main part of town. Up on 4th floor of building. Lots of stairs but nice view of the harbor. We would definitely recommend!

This cute apartment was perfect for our needs. It was close to the ferry building, old town and beaches. We had amazing views and enjoyed down time sitting on the balcony enjoying the views and people watching. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend!

The apt was lovely. It is close to town yet quiet at night. Our host met us when we arrived and bid us farewell when we left. We definitely recommend staying there and would love to return.

The only downside was the taxi driver didn't understand where exactly the address was so it left me in a panic for a short time until we were finally greeted. Lovely hosts and ever so accommodating. the location was fantastic and close to all the sights and places we wished to visit. thank you.

Wir können die Ferienwohnung sehr empfehlen. Wir waren zu fünft eine Woche in Split und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch die Schlafmöglichkeiten waren prima. Das Bad ist sehr komfortabel und die Küche mehr als ausreichend bestückt. Es gibt sogar einen Geschirrspüler, der so in der Beschreibung nicht aufgelistet war. Alles in allem: Top!

From booking through home and away we had good communication with the owners of the apartment, all queries answered promptly. On arriving in Croatia, we informed Maroje of our arrival and we were met promptly at the apartment. There are stairs to the apartment, which I myself didn't mind as I liked the exercise, but some people may struggle with, however the owners did mention that a lift is being fitted in the apartment building next year. I would fully recommend a stay in this apartment, beautiful decor and views from the balcony at the front, watching the sunset in the evenings was lovely with a glass of wine was bliss. The kitchen is well equipped for people travelling on a budget, with various supermarkets nearby one of which open to at least 10pm. The small shop opposite selling necessities, also open early morning and fairly late. Comfy beds provided, also a very sturdy settee bed in the living room. Very close to the beach and a short walk to the old town and the harbour where you can catch a ferry over to nearby islands. All in all I have no complaints whatsoever, from the warm welcome from Maroje, the beautiful apartment , amazing country. I would definitely return and recommend to family and friends.
