the location was very good regarding access to the core of the city, trains and buses. The room was a decent size and the bathroom was adequate. As meals were not included we ate elsewhere. The staff for the most part were friendly and helpful.

Although the room included a kitchen there was not any cutlery beyond a couple of spoons, no pots or pans or kitchen utensils. There were 2 drinking glasses and coffee cups but no plates or bowls. The mattress was uncomfortable and the room needs a refresh. The paint was marred and chipped and the bed was cheap. I believe there was only a small cafe table and a couple of flimsy chairs. Considering that this was our most expensive room in our 4 hotels in Europe, it did not reflect the price

The location is perfect - not a misnomer - it sits a block away from the piazza where the duomo is. The area is lined with great cafes and options for restaurants, pharmacy, and small grocery stores. The area is central and that is what you're paying for! The staff were very kind and helpful. Vanessa was really great and I'm forgetting the other lady's name but she was incredibly friendly and professional, too! The staff made it a great experience!

Lots of stairs. There's a small elevator and it works out but the hotel has a unique layout and use of stairs. The parking lot is a bit hard to get to but the area is just spaghetti roads so you have to follow their instructions or else you'll be taken down narrow streets.

Only location

It is not a four stars spa hotel, as it was announced at Booking.com, but a simple BB. There is no lobby, just a tiny reception without any facilities. The Spa was closed, the room was very small, breakfast was served in an extremely small place and was more than modest. When we stoped having breakfast, the hotel scuff refused to compensate us in any way. The hotel , except it’s fantastic location, does not cost it’s price.

We chose the place specifically because it offered a spa however when we got there we were told the spa was closed due to refurbishment. This should have been communicated from the start or else a discount could have been applied due to the inconvenience

The location was perfect, just next to the cathedral square. Our room had a balcony overlooking the Duomo. Moreover, we could enjoy wonderful views of Mt Etna from the rooftop terrace. The place is very clean. All the staff were wonderful, very welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts prepared by Gusy were delicious, plenty of choice and fresh-made.
