Breakfast is great, the view from the pool is magnificent. The staff is very friendly and available. It is very quiet and the perfect place to take a rest.

Amazing location qith breathtaking view. The breakfast was generous and varied. Fullfiled all our expectation.

The only drawback is that they don't serve dinner and had to go to town for dinner.

We rented a bungalow for our family of four. There are two bungalows, which are separated from the main house. These are basically shipping containers converted into living spaces. Clean, and lovely panoramic view but a little cramped for the four of us. We would have been more comfortable in two rooms in the main house.

The views were outstanding. We arrived on a sunny afternoon, and a storm blew in. It was fascinating to watch from the balcony. The owner/host was the best! He was very friendly and eager to help us. He provided wine glasses so we could enjoy the port we had purchased during our drive through the Douro valley. The pool was enticing, however, due to the rain, we did not use it. Parking our van was easy. Everything was wonderful.

The breakfast was basic, but that's understandable given this is a small hotel (12 rooms). The only thing we'd change is having eggs available at breakfast.

We booked this room late due to a change of plan and it was wonderful to have the opportunity to stay in this special place. The distant views over the Douro vineyards and the infinity pool were amazing. The room was really clean, modern, and spacious. Our host was very friendly and a delicious breakfast was served in the well appointed dining room.

Very nice and clean room overlooking Serra do Marão. Beautiful surroundings and a very well-kept place. Breakfast was very good, secure parking onsite - a great experience overall!

The access to our bedroom was through a sliding door, which was too heavy and tricky to lock. The aircon wasn't working and we were given an electric heater. There was a bit of a draft coming from the window that needs fixing.

The hotel was in a quiet location. The views from our room were stunning even though is was raining!! It was in a great location for visiting the Douro River valley which is beautiful. The gentleman who greeting us was very friendly and helpful recommending a local restaurant which we went to which had great food. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Within 1km from the quinta is Vila Real's landfill. If wind blows from northeast, there will be nasty smell all over the place. Also, highway is quite close so can be noisy for some people.

Everything! Gorgeous place to be, the grounds are fantastic, can't beat the view! Love the modern rooms and air conditioning as well. The swing is a great place to see the sunset.

Literally the only thing is the pool temp, not heated and very cold. Middle of summer it may have worked but even on a pretty warm day it was uncomfortably cold, very minor compared to how great everything else was.

Manuel, the owner was very friendly and helpful! His selection of Douro wines exceeded expectations. Hope to come back to that place again!
