The staff were so helpful and went out of their way to help me book transport, surf lessons and give directions. the pool area and rooms were lovely and excellent menu, free breakfast also!

It would be nice to have some amenities or classes to be able to meet people.

Pool was great, rooms very comfortable and stylish. Location was a very easy walk to the beach. Comfortable bed. Food was good at the restaurant and the included breakfast choices were delicious

Excursions were very overpriced for what you got. Definitely go with another company. Staff were not the friendliest

Everything! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was great (large serves!) close to the beach.

Breakfast (included) was delicious with sufficient options even for vegetarians. Their other meals were also delicious. The hotel is small but clean, comfortable and has all the pieces you need (outdoor space, restaurant, and pool) - as well as dance and yoga lessons. The beach isn't far from the hotel either in terms of access. We had a great stay.

A more direct route to the beach would be nice but it really wasn't far.

I liked the scenery and the fact that there weren’t any kids.

They don’t allow smoking anywhere on the property. My husband would have to walk all the way out to the street.

Hotel limpo com quarto super novo e confortável. Equipe atenciosa e o restaurante é muito bom! Fizemos todas as refeições por lá mesmo e valeu super a pena! O café da manhã também é muito bom.

No hay salida a la playa, camino terracería para llegar. Cambian las tarifas. Aunque uno ya haya pagado y Booking.com los respalda, es un abusivo para el tipo de hotel 2 estrellas. ESTAFADA, publican fotos de una cátarata y es cobrado el paseo y lo venden como que está incluido en el hospedaje

I loved the aesthetics and breakfast options of the location. The pool and small little villa was super cute! I loved their upstair option to relax and location.

I wish staff would have had kitchen open until later time. Also, I wish that they would have told us about the Yoga classes that were offered at their location.

Hotel with the greatest casual and relaxed atmosphere. The best food in El Salvador was from this hotel kitchen. Great breakfast and lunch as well. The best mattresses in our Costa Rica & El Salvador trip, and super airconditioning. Lovely pool area, and really enjoyed the yoga class. We stayed there for 5 nights with two kids, 3 and 5 years old. At first I thought we would feel a bit ‘awkward’ being the only ones with kids and because of the casual surf vibe, but it was perfect!

Hot shower would have been nice, but still this hotel is a 10!

The whole atmosphere of Hotel Michanti was fantastic!

The staff were very accommodating and the food was delicious! The free breakfast options (only 3 options) were great and the rest of the menu was also amazing. The hotel rooms and the amenities were great! It does look a little sketch driving to the hotel but once you arrive it looks nice. They do have activities throughout the week like yoga and events at night which was pretty cool. There is a few parking spots on the premises, the gates close at 10pm and a security guard that works 24/7 which made us feel safe. The hotel is located just a few steps away from El Zonte Beach (for surfing really) which was a plus. I definitely would stay here again if I’m ever back.

Just an FYI that there is no hot water available which I’ve heard from other people who have travel to El Salvador often that it’s the norm here. We managed without it.

We loved the cleanliness of this hotel and location.

We were hesitant to stay here after seeing some of the marketing from the hotel but decided to take our chances and not cancel our reservation. This is definitely a hotel geared towards a certain customer in mind, non-Salvadoran and particularly white folks. We immediately did not feel welcomed. The night we arrived staff was pretty indifferent. Dennis was really nice! The price for transportation is ridiculous too. We were quoted $30 for a 3-5 minute trip (3KM from hotel) when we said that was too high, we were told that one of the drivers could take us for $25. We really wanted to leave the property so we agreed. The hotel made it sound like the quotes were provided by the different drivers but the car used is the hotel’s and the drivers also work for the hotel. In short it appears that the price is set by the hotel. To provide some perspective, our trip from San Salvador to the hotel was $40 (50 KM).

Beautiful property, exceptional service, great food. Best hotel we have stayed at in a long time.
