We were self catering. Location was excellent and appreciated thumbs up for 4x4 car!

The cabin was among the best places we stayed during our trip at Iceland. Sandra is a great host and was very friendly and proactive in her communication. She took the extra effort to tell us about the road conditions and possible routes to approach the property. The cabin was comfortable and the location was surreal. We had one of the best Northern lights sighting right above the cabin during our stay. Thank you Sandra for hosting us and we look forward to staying with you again sometime.

The cabin is in a great location. The upstairs was perfect for the kids. Having a BBQ and kitchen made it easy to cook our own meals. The kitchen table was perfect for the size of our family. We would absolutely stay here again.
The lack of storage for food we brought made it tricky in the kitchen.

Amazing view over the fjord and Akureyri on the other side. For our group of 3 grown ups the house was perfect.

A great view across the fiord overlooking Akureyri. The cabin was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. It had a large living/sleeping area upstairs.
The gravel road up to the property was a lot longer that anticipated.

Location is amazing, views are lovely.
Not a dislike but you probably need your own transport for this one in my opinion.

Location was great looking across to Akureyri and close to town (15min) for provisions. Unit was very clean.
Two minor issues if someone in group has knee issues with getting up stairs to where the four beds are. The second is if claustrophobic sleeping under the roof line on the inside of the upstairs beds it could be and issue for them.

Comfortable and cozy stay. Great view overlooking Akureyri.
We are 6 of us and the fact that there is only one toilet was a bit in convenient. Also hot water ran out when 4 people took shower in a row. The rest two needed to waited for another 1h to have hot water.

Cabin was very easy to find with GPS coordinates. Very comfortable and great for a family of four. Our kids stayed upstairs and each had their own bed with big flat screen TV. Parents downstairs was private with curtain drawn. Fully stocked kitchen and grocery stores close by made it easy to coordinate breakfast and pack lunches. Beautiful view! See picture from the deck.
