The bar staff were lovely and created a range of cocktails for us while we sat by the pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The gym was small but well stocked.

A beautiful Brazilian hotel recently refurbished. beautiful rooms. roof top bar and pool was outstanding ( loved the Brazilian music) and restaurant/ breakfast really good. very close to the main sites of old Salvador. Highly recommended.

the rooftop bar & pool was stunning, great facilities & the rooftop bar stag super helpful & attentive at all times. the building was beautiful & in immaculate condition

breakfast service was very slow on some days & with very little interaction from staff, having to constantly ask for more coffee or to order. not a great selection of savoury options or breads, very expensive breakfast for what it was. some fresh cooked breads etc would be easy to do. there was no hooks or towel rails at all in the bathroom so nowhere to hand a towel or clothes or wet swim wear

Very good

The location is great. The art-deco style architecture and design is magnificent and provides to the hotel a real personnality. The food is quite good. Also, the rooftop is definitely a place to be.

The fitness center is really small. The breakfast is not a buffet but a set-up programme: it's actually quite good but they can be very strict on the schedule. When I arrive at 10 a.m., informing them before that I will arrive at that time, the lady in charge was difficult and initially said that she cannot provide me anything. The manager at the reception had to intervene. More generally, a slight issue is that almost nobody speaks English (except the manager at the reception) while you pay around 250 EUR per night... For this price, in Sao Paulo or Rio or Recife, everybody speaks fluently English.

the swimming pool is breathtaking, the staff extremely nice and professional, very very clean, all very much looked after in a an extremely well restored Art Deco building with authentic features

the location in the old town, very desolate and dangerous after 17.00 in the evening. Despite the fact that rooms as immaculately furnished I found the look austere and quite depressing. The lighting in the room is truly depressing…
