We returned to Gabriela's wonderful villa after five years. It was even better than we remembered. The villa layout is well designed, kitchen appliances and furniture is really good and the the view to Lago Maggiore is breath taking. Gabriella had done some renovation since our last visit and everything was done really nicely. During this trip, we visited also Lake Orta and and Orta San Giulia. It is a really nice medieval town and we can recommend a trip over there.

We loved this house. Not only is the view of the lake from the balcony breathtaking but there are large picture windows on three sides of the living room, as well as in the dining room. Our host was gracious and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

The property is exceptional and the owner is very hospitable. In addition to a nice bottle of red wine and some local speciality bicuits, Gabriella was also very helpful with suggestions of where to shop and sights to see. The location is unbeatable and the property overlooks Lake Maggiore and in the distance one can see the snow capped Swiss Alps. It is a very short drive to the centre of Stresa and the area is very peaceful. The rooms are well proportioned and everything was in order. We look forward to visiting again.

Wow! Gabriella’s terrace has an awesome view of Lage Maggiore - almost 180 degrees! And views from every room. Nicely appointed apartment (fully outfitted galley kitchen, comfortable shared spaces, tables to sit both inside/outside - depending on the weather - to enjoy a drink or a meal w your view), easy parking. Gabriella was very helpful with things to do in/near Stresa. Besides the visits to Palacio Borromeo and the town, she printed out information for a local yearly food festival on Isola Pescheria that was fabulous! Thank you!! We also visited Orta San Giulio and had a tranquil afternoon. She also directed us to a wooded footpath from the rental to town so that we didn’t have to drive. Thanks so much for being an awesome host, Gabriella!!

Hébergement tout à fait conforme à l’annonce, très agréable et complet, avec un panorama inoubliable. L’accès à Stresa se fait facilement à pieds...Le retour est un peu plus difficile mais très faisable en journée. Accueil sympathique de Gabriella, avec un très bon français, ce qui facilite les choses. Région magnifique également, bien sûr...

Gabriella was too perfect! We were quite lost (new gps app) and she talked us through it with ease and grace. Cookies and wine were waiting for us which was perfect after a 9 he drive. Fully, fully equipped kitchen. The views were stunning, the place was larger than we thought. The hills are steep, roads narrow. We ended up using a taxi to (I have mobility issues) town which was perfect and “cheap.” We loved every minute of our stay.

Das Ferienhaus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist sehr modern und gemütlich eingerichtet und überdurchschnittlich ausgestattet. Alle Geräte funktionieren tadellos. Der Seeblick von der Terasse aus ist atemberaubend. Gabriellas Empfang mit Rotwein und Süßigkeiten aus der Region war super herzlich und sehr informativ. Im Haus gibt es viel Informationsmaterial zu Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Region. Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Es gibt wundervolle Wanderwege, die nur ein paar Schritte entfernt sind - sogar zum höchsten Berg des Sees. Unser Hund fühlte sich pudelwohl, er durfte am Strand ohne Leine herumtoben und uns sogar im Supermarkt, in speziellen Hundeeinkaufswagen, begleiten. Wir haben den Urlaub so sehr genossen, dass wir jeder Zeit wiederkommen würden.

Villa très bien située. Très belle vue avec un environnement très calme. La maison est très bien équipée et l’accueil de Gabriella est très chaleureux.

Die Kommunikation lief sehr gut, Fragen wurden immer umgehend beantwortet, auch auf der Anreise, und wir wurden überaus herzlich empfangen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Haus hat mehr als alles, was man benötigt, die Aussicht ist traumhaft und kaum zu überbieten. Normalerweise machen wir viele Ausflüge, hier hatten wir oft gar keine Lust, die Terrasse zu verlassen. Wunderbar auch der komplett eingezäunte Garten, so dass unser Hund frei laufen konnte. Es war so schön, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl dort gefühlt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilft. Das Objekt ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Terrific location, private, beautiful views and easy access to Stressa. Gabriella a kind and generous hostess. She presented a lovely chocolate present for our anniversary. Home well equipped and it was ideal for our cooking. Lovely hiking nearby and easy to get to village center. A lovely stay!

Wir waren im März 2022 für 11 Tage in Gabriella's Ferienwohnung zu Gast. Wie schon von vielen Gästen hier erwähnt, ist Gabriella eine umsichtige Gastgeberin, immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich und hilfbereit. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man braucht, um schöne Ferien zu machen. Ausrüstung der Wohnung, Lage, Aussicht - alles top. Es steht eine Garage zur Verfügung, in der wir unsere Fahrräder und den sonstigen Velogerümpel, den es so braucht, versorgen konnten. Wenn es jemanden interessiert: ich hätte unseren Bulli in der Garage parkieren können. Hab ich aber nicht gemacht, weil Bulli den Saharastaub besser verträgt als die Fahrräder. Zusammengefasst: es waren wunderschöne und erholsame Tage am Lage Maggiore. As mentioned by many guests here, Gabriella is a considerate owner, always available and very friendly and helpful. The apartment offers everything you need to have a nice holiday. Equipment of the apartment, location, view - all great. There is a garage available where we could store our bikes and other bike junk that we need. If anyone is interested: I could have parked our Bulli in the garage. But I didn't do it because the Bulli tolerates the Sahara dust better than the bicycles. Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Gabriella verbracht. Bei der Unterkunft handelt es sich um das Obergeschoss eines Privathauses, das mit eigener Garage, ebenerdigem Zugang (wegen der Hanglage) und Gartenanteil gänzlich abgekoppelt ist von den unteren zwei Etagen des Hauses, von wo aus der Garten von der Vermieterin nach vorne genutzt wird. Der Blick von der Terrasse über den See, geschätzte 200° Panoramablick, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Statt morgens aufzubrechen genießt man erst ein bis drei Stunden das herrliche und beeindruckende Panorama. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, was irgendwie gebraucht werden kann und die Vermieterin ist äußerst nett, unkompliziert, bei Bedarf schnell verfügbar aber ansonsten "unsichtbar". Die Heizung funktionierte tadellos und ich gehe davon aus, dass es im Sommer auch mit der Klimaanlage so sein wird. Das Haus ist gepflegt, sauber aber nicht steril. Wir hatten unseren jungen Hund dabei, der sich sehr dort sehr wohl fühlte und für den es um die Ecke gute Möglichkeiten gibt, Gassi geführt zu werden. Der Weg nach Stresa ist mit 20' kurz und schön, so kann man das Auto auch mal stehen lassen und eines der guten Restaurants zu Fuß besuchen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter.

Wir waren über Weihnachten da. Die Besitzerin hat die Wohnung,mit sehr viel Herz, für uns geschmückt. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer wurde 2021 neu renoviert und ist schön und modern. Das komplett eingezäunte Grundstück ist sehr gepflegt. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist traumhaft. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben nicht zu bemängeln.

Wir verbrachten Anfang bis Mitte Oktober in dieser Ferienwohnung! Ruhige Gegend, viele Hunde, Aussicht auf den See! Es gibt eine riesengroße Terrasse , teilweise verglast, was wir sehr zu schätzen wussten, als wir 3 Regentage hatten! Es war alles sauber und frisch gewaschen, ich meine sogar die Sofakissen, was wahrscheinlich den Coronavorschriften geschuldet ist , ich aber als äußerst angenehm empfand. Es fehlt an nichts in der Wohnung, die Küche ist supergut ausgestattet. Unsere Gastgeberin Gabriella ist sehr liebenswert und sympatisch, bei Rückfragen war sie sofort zur Stelle, Probleme gab es sowieso keine! Sollten wir mal wieder am Lago Maggiore Urlaub machen, ist diese Adresse sicher unser Favorit!

Helle, freundliche Wohnung, nette Vermieterin. Die Lage und die Aussicht auf den See sind exzellent. Ein kleiner Wanderweg führt in 15 min in die Stadt. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Die Terrassenmöbel sind alt, werden aber laut Gabriella bald ausgetauscht. Stellplatz vor dem Haus für große PKW vorhanden, falls die Garage nicht genügt.

Tout est encore mieux que sur les photos. La vue est extraordinaire. La maison est parfaitement équipée. La propreté impeccable. Et surtout la gentillesse et le dévouement de Gabriella notre hôtesse, qui nous a tellement aidé à surmonter un problème médical en téléphonant aux urgences et en se proposant de nous accompagner malgré l’heure tardive pour assurer la traduction. Encore merci Gabriella. Nous reviendrons c’est sûr.

After a cancellation last year due to the COVID pandemic we made it to Stresa in 2021and I must say it was worth the wait. This appartment is sited on a hillside close to Lago Maggiore and it has a magnificent view over the lake. The appartment is spacious enough for 4 adults and equipped with everything you need in terms of kitchen equipment etc. Our host (Gabriella) welcomed us in the most friendly way upon arrival and really took the time to show us around. She lives on the ground floor with her daughter and is always willing to help out . We stayed here for 10 days in the beginning of June and had a wonderful time, there is plenty to do/see in this area. I would recommend this appartment for sure, but do keep in mind that it's in a quiet hilly area of Stresa and you preferably need a car to move around.

A spacious flat with a fantastic view. I loved the huge balcony and the superb view. The location is quiet and convenient. Gabriella and her daughter are very nice and helpful. We will come back! Thanks for everything!

Gabriella's hospitality was superb. She showed us all the ins and outs of the apartment and explained the local situation. The apartment is perfect for 2 or 4 persons - spacious living, very spacious terrace with great view over the lake and it provides privacy. Walking distance from the centre of Stresa is about 25 minutes, but be aware of steep pave ways. Excellent choice!

Gabriella ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Die Aussicht ist das Highlight und grandios. Positiv: - Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. - tolle Aussicht und ruhige Lage - gute Internetverbindung - rund um das Haus findet man immer ein schattiges Plätzchen - Gabriella ist gut erreichbar und hilft Sollte man wissen: - Bad sollte renoviert werden (Wasser in der Toilette läuft ständig/ warm duschen dauert) - Terrassenmöbel (Liegen und Relaxer) zum Teil verschlissen, bzw von schlechter Qualität.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub bei Gabriella. Schon vor der Reise hat sie unsere Fragen umgehend beantwortet, so dass wir entspannt starten konnten. Aber auch während unseres Aufenthaltes, stand sie uns jederzeit mit einem guten Rat zur Seite. Das Haus liegt traumhaft oberhalb des Sees mit der besten Aussicht, die man sich vorstellen kann. Im Innern ist alles vorhanden was man braucht und wohnlich eingerichtet, auch die Zimmeraufteilung. Es gibt Klimaanlagen in den beiden Schlafzimmern, sowie im Wohnzimmer. Die Umgebung ist ruhig, man hat super nette Nachbarn, welche einem auch gern mal Tomaten schenken und man ist in 20 Minuten Gehzeit im wunderschönen Stresa mit zig Möglichkeiten zum Essen. Danke, liebe Gabriella, für den schönen Urlaub! Wir kommen gern wieder!!!

This property has a commanding view of the lake. The property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood high on a hill. It is a 15 to 20 minute walk into town on an old Trail. If you are fit and active it is a great walk into town. Every morning we would walk into town and have a coffee, relax and than walk back for lunch, There are 2 ways to reach town by car. The upper road thru town or the lake road. The lake road has many turns but less traffic. The house is well equipped. A nice quiet place to relax on the lake.

This is perfect place to stay on the beautiful lake!!! My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this GORGEOUS apartment. Gabriela greeted us with a warm smile and she was an incredible hostess. We did not need one thing due to her hospitality. The views of the lake are breathtaking and made our trip to Lake Maggiore even more magical. We would recommend this apartment for any couples looking for a romantic getaway

A very well equipped villa with amazing views. Everywhere was very clean, with plenty of room, inside and outside. Lovely location with amazing views of the lake and mountains. A short walk down to the town through the woods with all the trees providing plenty of shade, especially in the heat of the day!

The only negative comment I can make is the location. On one hand the views are stunning but it is not very convenient to go back and forth to town. The pathway is quite rugged in parts so you have to be very careful, and it is quite a steep hill so a taxi was required to take us back up the hill. So it all depends on the individual. We loved the property but location was a bit problematic. for us.

We can only confirm all the positive reviews of this property: the panoramic views are stunning, the house is very well equipped and set in mature gardens with rhododendrons and azaleas (which were in blossom during our stay), and the owner Gabriella is very welcoming. We particularly appreciated the lounge with large windows/glass fronts to three sides and the various seating areas inside the house and on the terraces, which we used at different times of the day. We will definitely stay here again!
