Amazing host. Beautiful apartment, couldn’t ask for better. Perfection

The location is ideal! You just step onto the busy street right outside the building. The balcony’s and rooftop were great to watch all the activities in the street below.

An interesting property - large rooms and a large roof deck in a real Palermo palazzo. It was large and comfortable and right in the heart of the old city. Location! Location!
There were no facilities for making tea or coffee - not even water glasses!

It was like living in a true palazzo! Amazing views of Palermo! Great help from Karen!

Wow. What an amazing place! I felt like royalty staying here! First of all, Karen was wonderful! She made sure I had everything I need and that I was comfortable. Such a warm personality she has!
Secondly, words cannot describe how beautiful this apartment is! It’s is truly a slice of history that you must see to believe. Had my own balcony AND terrace, every space was decorated and furnished with gorgeous period pieces, and to top it off, you are in the heart of everything! The views from the balcony and terrace are going to blow you away. And for the price—wow! Unbelievable value! I was pinching myself to make sure I was not dreaming! Haha. Highly recommend!!!
Nothing!

Centrally located, grand chandelier and beautiful old floor tiles. Great roof top terrace!
The central location meant it was very noisy wit(h late night buskers in the square below- we left a day early because of this. And although spacious the antique furniture meant that it’s wasn’t really comfortable to use the space. The kitchen was very limited and up on the terrace- ok for a 2 or 3 days, but not easy for a week. Adding some simple kitchen equipment- eg a toaster, more cooking tools would help. Also making some of the space a bit more user friendly - even setting a small eating space downstairs would be very nice.

Super Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin. Beeindruckendes Objekt. Zentraler geht es nicht.
Sehr kleine Dusche. Nachts teilweise sehr laut, weil direkt am Hauptplatz. Die Küche ist nur über das Dachgeschoss zu erreichen.

We loved our stay at Palazzo Villa. It was like taking a step back in time. Beautiful artwork and sculptures, boutique bathroom and incredible space. Located right in the heat of Palermo.

It’s gorgeous, quirky and authentic. Location and views are exceptional, lovely host. Did I mention the location and views? Thought I’d mention them again :)
Incredible furnishings, I felt like I was staying in a museum.
The layout is quirky - “kitchen” is off the rooftop balcony, fridge off the living/lounge room and very inaccessible. But it’s such a delightful place, full of surprises!
The bathroom is very dark (this was very common in Spanish and Italian accommodation) but otherwise very good.
Noisy at night, as there are buskers in Quattro Cento, but they stop at about 11.30pm. This was during the week, and peak season

I loved so many things about this palazzino. The grandiosity, the art work, the cleanliness, the fact that all the light bulbs lit up and there were so many !! the statuettes the flooring - those tiles in the middle of the parquet are superb. I loved looking out and see the church and the quattro canti just - there-! I adored having a piano and oh my god the top terrace was just glorious. Karen was also very sweet and welcoming. The location is simply perfect just in the heart of the heart of Palermo. Right there at the crossroads of everything. And yes I even loved the very high quality music from the musicians below. Breakfast was no problem - just go down to the hotel below. A grand experience indeed!
Yes, as many wrote before it does get noisy till midnight because of musicians but hey you can buy earplugs. I was forewarned from comments before. And anyway it's not that horrible. It's actually ....pleasant. For the price you pay and the quality and the beauty and the grandiosity this is a very minor inconvenience. As I wrote I actually enjoyed their music - they were superb just like being in a 5star hotel.

The location was amazing, very central, literally at the crossroads of two main streets full of restaurants, gelaterias, shops and attractions.
The property itself was amazing! So beautiful and well kept (not a speck of dust despite rococo decorations everywhere). The two terraces took my breath away, perfect for tanning, eating outside, admiring the faraway views or the details of the church next door.
Karen was lovely and very accommodating to our schedule.
Lounging in the living room made me feel like royalty!

This place is too unreal to actually exist.
I felt to be an actually princess in her own roof palace. I can’t wait to be back next year.
Nothing
Karen is lovely and a great host, she and her mom are simply of great praise to kept a place like that and share with guests

The best way to visit Palermo is to stay in a palace like this one.
The host is lovely, the apartment is beyond beautiful, the terrace is charming and the location is everything.
Felt like a contessa.
Nothing.
The only problem is the noise from outside. Lots of street musicians.
But when you are living right in the heart of the city, it is a “risk” you just take.

Beautiful place with lovely antiques ... huge ... you get the whole place to yourself ... several terraces with lovely views ... host is wonderful and very helpful.
There was nothing I did not like!

Very central with an amazing terrace
The area is quite noisy - but that is because it is so central

Amazing decor, friendliness, dreamy location! The morning coffee on the terrace with 360 view of Palermo is worth everything!
Buskers playing very loud music on Saturday and Sunday night. The windows are original so they don't insulated from street noise.

I enjoyed my 10 days in palazzo viola very much.
The view from the terrace is wonderful, as is the location of the flat. Everything was within walking distance, usually within 1 to 10 minutes.

The location, the roof terrace, the beautiful historic apartment, all wonderful! We had the most beautiful stay and enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace watching the sunset with a bottle of wine, having dinner at the local restaurants and exploring the historic center of Palermo.
Absolutely nothing!

They arrange check-in earlier. Appreciate it a lot.
It's a beautiful and luxurious apartment. With a magnificent view from the two-story terrace.

Location was superb. The nearby church is beautiful inside, too. Bought the most expensive wine on the street and enjoyed it in every room or terrace, at a starry night, at the sunrise.
Staying only one night. Wish stayed longer.

This was an amazing apartment. Gorgeous, historic and huge. Windows and balconies everywhere and two rooftop terraces too. Love it!!!

Absolutely grand palace - so much space and luxuriously furnished! Centrally located at Quattro Canti, complete with two terraces overlooking the city and the Cathedral as your neighbour ❤️
Bring earplugs if you’re staying during the weekend - as there are musicians due to its central location. But it’s also charming.

Location is in the centre of the old part of Palermo. The Palazzo offers a roof top terrace with a great view across the roof tops of Palermo. The rooms are big and greatly decorated. The host was friendly.
The bathroom is down the hallway and not in the room.

Have you ever lived in a real palace? This is your chance.
The kitchen is upstairs and rather basic. In you need to cook for a whole family, this is probably not the best choice. Due to very steep stairs to the terrace not suitable for elderly people.

the atmosphere Island ambiance are unmatched. Our stay generated great memories as we were transported back to another era in time.
Nothing.

The apartment is like walking into a time capsule. It is beautiful, with ornate furnishings and lots of accessibility to the outdoors with balconies and a large patio on the top floor. Making coffee on the little gas stove in the rooftop kitchen and sipping it while overlooking an important intersection in the vibrant city of Palermo was a once in a life-time experience
My issue entirely, the bathroom is not ensuite and while it is exclusively for your own use, it is down a short hall from the apartment

This is a beautiful apartment in such a central location.
This palazzo has beautiful furnishings which add to the palatial ambiance.
The vibe of Palermo was just outside our window and terrace. It was noisy until 4am but that's a perfect holiday atmosphere.
I highly rate this apartment.
However, I was taken aback by the 300 deposit requested in case of breakages. I hadn't read the small print. Having enjoyed many 5 star hotels worldwide, I couldn't understand this clause for an apartment stay.
As above.

The location was perfect and the terrace had a terrific view over the whole town and the mountains. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The apartment is really a little treasure. Everything is very lovingly designed and you have the feeling you are sleeping in a museum. The pictures can not really transfer the atmosphere of the apartment, which is just special. Although there is a lot of furniture and deco, everything was very very clean and you felt completely comfortable. The air conditioning also worked perfectly and the location is optimal. In addition, the two roof terraces are a dream with a panoramic view over Palermo. I can highly recommand this apartment and our host was really very kind, nice, friendly and very supportive! Thanks!
It should be noted that the apartment is not suitable for families and not if you want to stay longer than a few days. There is no washing machine in the apartment and also the kitchen is not optimal, because it is upstairs next to the roof terrace, but it is fully equipped and can be used without a problem. As a couple and especially if you go out for lunch/dinner, it is very suitable and if you want to have a lovely "after day" drink together at the roof top terrace, this is the prefect place for you.

The palazzo is even better up close. It is centrally located and we loved having diner at our private terasse!

The photos don’t do the actual location justice. You are only feet from the Quattro Canti, the main square of the old town of Palermo. From the terrazza you have views of the square, rooftops in all directions, and the major churches in the area. I can’t stress enough what a great location this is!
The hosts were helpful and responsive when we needed help, and the air condition works beautifully- must in Sicilian summer! I would absolutely stay here again.
