The property is a little gem in the heart of Palermo. Beautiful restoration of an old building, we loved the decoration and the attention to details. We have been welcomed by a super kind host who gave us also a lot of good tips to enjoy our stay in Palermo. The breakfast was really good and served in a lovely yard. Last but not least the presence of the elevator was a big relief.

The neighbourhood is absolutely central in Palermo, but quite rough and poorly illuminated at night. This is a common problem of the entire historical Center of Palermo actually.

Parking a bit tricky, Saturday night we had to park several streets away but that's Palermo not the hotel. Great eateries near by. Fantastic breakfast. Roof terrace a nice surprise.

We loved our stay for 2 days in Palermo at Locanda Sette!. We felt welcomed from the start by Manager Giada. She gave us su much helpful information and wonderful suggestions for restaurants. She answered all our questions in a prompt matter and made sure we were comfortable with our accommodations. The room was beautiful and breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful courtyard setting. Can’t say enough about this find!

The private jacuzzi was very good after a long day and the accomodation also had a rooftop terrace with some sunbeds, it was very nice. Also got little showergels and intim wash gelevery morning :) The host was very friendly, it was a pleasure :)

Maybe the breakfast was a little average. As it is in the old town, getting there by car was not the best move, Ok with a Fiat 500, definitely more challenging with a bigger car.

Beautiful building, renovated with care, with restored furniture, each room seems different with a different theme. We had two adjacent rooms joined for our family of four which was very comfortable and spacious. You need to know there is not much of daylight in the room but that’s the specificity of the building. Elevator. I really liked the fact that they didn’t change all the linens every single day. They warned they would do that and I think it only makes sense and is more environmentally friendly. We came by car and we’re always able to find a spot in the street, sometimes closer, sometimes further away. Very close to the Norman Palace and the cathedral. Otherwise the area around is on the lively side, the junction of Quattro Canti with its restaurants, souvenir stores, musicians and night life is very close. That does not impact the sleep as the locanda itself is tucked away in a quiet spot.

The fact that breakfast was only until 9.15 The staff was a bit flexible on that but if you prefer to sleep in (and who doesn’t on holidays…) you need to rush through your breakfast… The variety, quantity and quality of breakfast could definitely be improved.

The location was perfect, right in the historic center of Palermo. The style of the property is in perfect balance between authentic and comfortable/luxurious. The facilities were clean and modern. The host was extremely kind and helpful.

To get here with a car is challenging if you’re not used to Palermo roads and traffic. Make sure you acquire a permit first before entering the historic centre with a car to avoid a fine. Luckily, Giada (the host) can help you with this.
