Shower was not the greatest. Poor water pressure and struggled to get a good temperature. Could do with investment in electric showers.

Lovely old hotel adjacent to the Carnoustie railway station . We had a very spacious and well appointed room , the food was extremely good pub food and the staff excellent and friendly

The welcome was friendly and the housekeeping staff changed their duties to give us an early check-in. The room was large, the windows had a good view and the storage facilities excellent. Free parking at the rear was convenient. The scrambled egg at breakfast was especially good.
The en-suite was very cramped, with the wash basin in the main room. It had no mat for drips. The quality of toilet paper was poor. Most of the breakfast was standard fare with only the egg rising to a very high level.

The dinner and breakfast we had were both excellent in taste and presentation. The hotel has a very friendly feel and is obviously well loved in the community.

Hotel as name says is at the station no need for a taxi.
Difficult to charge mobile phone by bed. But i travel with an extension cable as this is often a problem. It's charge phone or bedside light...but this comment is constructive not a complaint...

Great to have a good evening meal in the property food was excellent.
Huge bathroom, could easily accommodate a bath, possibly not there due to age of building but would have been great touch.
