This is a cool place for cool people . The garden is an absolute jem in the city . The owner has to be the only one that hasn’t sell this beautiful garden for enormous block of flats . Thank you for this and for our brilliant stay . You enjoy the birds singing , you forget that you are in the city of Montpellier . Adorable rooms , I mean come on , this is unique .

Antoine and all of the staff were delightful. So helpful. Not being fluent in French was appreciative that they all had a mastery of English.

There were zero staff members at the hotel, absolutely no one. At our arrival, we had to call for someone to open the gate to be able to park our car. A gentleman picked up but when he heard me speaking English, he hung up. I called again and this time a friendly lady speaking English picked up and gave us a code to open the gate. After parking, we walked through the dark premises looking for someone waiting for us as it’s usual in any hotel, but there was no one. I phoned again and I was then provided with a code to open the door of the hotel and was instructed to find our room upstairs with the key on the door. The hotel is advertised in Booking.com as having a restaurant, but it was also closed apparently because the owner is on holidays. For breakfast we were told it would be from 9:00 am till 12:00. We went downstairs at 9:20 am and there was no one. We then left since there was no point staying in a lonely and dark place, with nothing to eat for breakfast, nor even a simple coffee or tea. Once we were gone, I got lots of text messages asking if my stay was already payed online! I was driving, so had to stop to check my reservation to inform the nice lady that I was supposed to “pay at the property” as advertised by Booking.com. But how shall I do that if there is no one there? Anyhow, I asked her to please use the credit card used for the reservation or I can also make a bank transfer if I’m provided with bank details. I’m still waiting for further instructions. All in all, I totally understand that around Xmas time people go on holidays, but honestly, if there will be no staff to receive guests, the hotel should simply be closed for a week or so. Last but not least, Booking.com advertised a free room upgrade. If the room we got is the upgraded one, then I don’t want to know how the regular room looks like. These are honestly the worst 130 euros I ever spent in a hotel.

So many maintenance issues, everything is old and many things need repair, windows in corridor are extremely dirty, overall impression is that some of your frends just let you sleep in his grandparents apartment, you don’t feel a b&b guest, staff members are extremely strange too

We loved the decor of the rooms with the modernist influence, lots of interesting furniture and paintings, they were light and airy, large and comfortable, with excellent bathrooms. Breakfast was extremely good with the option of having freshly cooked eggs. The house is set in a wonderful garden. Antoine looked after us and was the star of the show!

It is a bit far from the centre of Montpellier

Location is great. Close to a tramstop to go to the city. Amazing rooms with a lot of personal decoration. The atmosphere is like coming home. Food in the restaurant with the superb chef is to die for. Le patron and his crew are discrete but professional with a great sense of joy de vivre! I am already looking forward to my stay next year!

The only thing I can think of are the pillows. I like them hard and firm 😎

It isn’t a typical hotel with a lot of rooms, but a excellent restaurant with some additional high-quality rooms. Everything, the food, drinks, furnishings, outdoor facility and especially the staff was amazing! So, if you don’t mind to walk 20 minutes to the Centre of Montpellier (otherwise Uber/Car), you love non-touristic and Romantic stays and enjoy good food as well as wine than this is the place to be. We really loved our stay and will definitely come back next year.

A beautiful old style town house in a amazing Park. Close to centre. 20 minutes by feet. The decoration was with care. The host was friendly and made me at ease in 5 seconds. Breakfast fresh and sufficient. I hereby make a promise. Will definitely come back next year!
