Very pleasant and welcoming hosts. The room was well maintained and clean. Fresh clean linen and towels. Big Tv, too.
We found the room to be very small and cramped as it was located at the top of the property under the eaves. There was no on suite toilet or shower in our room, but there was a communal toilet/shower room along the corridor shared with all guests, not brilliant when you're in need of the toilet and someone is taking a shower. No breakfast is available at the moment. It's OK for a nights sleep but wouldn't stay longer.

Ian the host was lovely they where having some refurbishment in the dining room so no food but it was only. 1 night so no probs

But parking is difficult and you end up parked right down the street
Building works going on on ground floor and window in front room the seal is missing and handle loose so you hear all the traffic which means you need tv on loud and TV remote writing very faded

The room was spotless clean, the owners were super friendly and helpful. It's a really nice guest house. The whole property is well cared of and well maintained. I would be always happy to return.
My room was facing the main street therefore it was little bit more noisy because of the traffic but still okay.

Very good location, close to rail station and main bus routes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Housekeeping done daily. Coffee and tea available in the room. Comfortable bed. I even got a small Christmas gift!

The hosts were extremely friendly and inviting with the whole place being very clean. I travelled on my own as a younger female and felt completely safe at all times.

The host, Ian, was very friendly - offering to carry our bags and greeting us whenever we arrived back, in addition to giving suggestions of places to visit. His wife was also very friendly - even interrupting a phonecall to greet us. The cleaner was very sweet and the property has a high degree of cleanliness.

As this is a b&b toilets and shower room is outside on landing. This is what I expected however

The location was perfect for me, just a couple of minutes walk from the rail station and right outside was a bus stop to Ulverston. Kendal and Windermere. It was also opposite the lovely Barrow Park. In addition, the house was spotless, the staff charming and helpful and the room had everything I wanted including a TV, a writing desk and fast free Wi-Fi.

the mattress in the room was, way too soft, I suppose, I felt just like Peter Griffin swallowed by a bed...
