Well furnished cottage exceeded our needs for the week. Outside area was a blessing with the warm weather this week, ideal to watch the world go by with a favourite tipple!

Looe is my happy place. The cottage was a standard fisherman's cottage and was clean, well kept and had all the things you need. Only down side is the stairs which even for able bodied people are difficult at times (carrying cups of tea) however that was advised so it is still a 5/5 from us.

Sandpipers is situated in a quiet back road of Looe.It is within easy walking distance of the beach and the lovely Salutation Inn. The cottage is lovely and comfortable with everything you need. As we are an older couple we did find the stairs slightly hard to navigate after a day of walking. Would lovecto return in the future.

Delightful, great location, an authentic tiny old fisherman’s cottage modernised with everything we needed, not suitable if you have any mobility issues, however we loved it.

Like others we had difficulty finding luggage drop of point but was us not the instructions. Set over three floors everything was provided for our stay. Auto lights at top of each set of stairs really useful. Parking was easy to find and easy walk back through the town, approx 10mins. Location to town, restaurants, takeaway's and beach was ideal for our stay and once in the cottage was warm and cozy.

Loved the location in the centre of the town very close to pubs, shops and restaurants, and handy for the beach and coastal walks. The property had everything you could want for your stay and was very comfortable. The steep stairs could potentially be a problem for the less mobile.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. Perfect location, right by the beach. Loads of good restaurants nearby and Polperro just around the corner. The cottage was a perfect place to relax, with everything we needed. Thank you

Great place to stay — cannot wait to return next year!

This was our second stay. The cottage is lovely. Immaculately clean and very well equipped. Cannot fault it. The location is great and within easy walking distance of beach, town and coastal paths. Would thoroughly recommend.

Right in center of town but still quiet. Not too many people peering in the window. It did take a bit to find , but happy after all. Maybe a new mattress would be good, a bit worn. I did want to stay an extra night but the manager didn't get back to me.

We visit Looe a lot and have stayed in various properties. This is up there with some of the best. Perfect location, has everything you need. And the parking was a real bonus. Would definitely book again.

Had a fantastic 5 night stay at Sandpipers. Lovely quirky cottage that had everything you would need for a weeks holiday. Very comfortable bed that made for a great nights sleep. Of course Looe is gorgeous and made even more so with the beautiful weather we had. Thankyou Peter for letting us stay in your lovely cottage

Immaculately clean. Small but ideally located. Only let down was the wet room, where water took a long time to run away from the floor.

On arrival, it was quite hard to locate the property. Once found pretty from the outside and quite small from the inside but for a holiday let its ideal. Downside, no washing or dishwasher. Overall not a bad property and great location next to the beach.

A fully functional clean house in central location convenient for harbour side activities, local beaches, shops and restaurants. This has it all but in quiet backstreet for a peaceful end of day. We stayed 6 or 7 times now and will be back again.

the stairs are very bad wife fell down three times the last step going up is only 4 inch es wide it is shocking the way it is ben buit we came home early because she hurt her knee and ankle on the stairs NEVER AGAIN

This was a lovely place to stay, central Looe, but very quiet. Everything that was needed was there at the cottage, really home from home. The Cottage was extremely clean, well furnished, bright and cosy. There are three floors, kitchen dining area, lounge and wet room and bedrooms, rooms are small but cosy and comfortable. Just a few minutes to beach and also to the lovely little town and restuarants, which are both gorgeous. The host was extremely helpful and was very prompt with his replies. We had a wonderful time at Sandpipers and hopefully will return in the future.

My wife and our son love the sea side, and with just One minute away from it ; I was left standing by watching them swimming twice a day, my wife only wakes up if there’s something to walk up far, she was up every day; even when it rain a little for one day, I was happy I didn’t have to fuss too much to have her entertained, we love the cottage and will go back again and again,

The cottage was lovely, just confusing that we was looking for fisherman's cottage and it's actually called sandpipers, location is perfect, the cottage had everything that you need for a week away well equipped , it was clean, perfect stay in Looe, weather was superb, would definitely recommend to stay in this cottage

My husband and I had a lovely stay in Looe! We enjoyed the Sandpiper's location so much. The proximity to the beach, wonderful shopping and walking trails was delightful. The Sandpiper was cozy and fit our needs perfectly.

Lovely quirky house on 3 levels, yes the stairs are a little steep but after a couple of times up and down they aren't so bad, lovely comfy cosy place, everything you need, lovely little bench outside which was nice to use in the morning with our morning coffee the house is close to all the restaurants and pubs, there is a fab little place called "The Coffee Shop" just in the next street which makes the best breakfast which is cooked fresh on the premises and well worth the money and time you wait, the people in Looe are so friendly and make you feel so welcome including your four legged friends, we would certainly stay at Sandpipers again. Peter the host gets back to you quick when you have any issues which we only had one and that was the last letter on the wifi code 🙈 but Peter answered us back and it was sorted, we would highly reccommend Sandpipers for a lovely peaceful break

We had a lovely stay in Looe - great location. As described in the listing and other reviews, very steep stairs with low ceilings. 5 year old did fine and loved his bunk bed.

This is our 3rd stay at Sandpipers. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Location is superb for beach, town, bars/restaurants. The addition of reserved parking at Millpool car park was a bonus. Had a lovely 5 night break yet again 😊

Peter was an exceptionally responsive host right from first contact. The cottage was lovely, comfortable, fully outfitted and close to everything in Looe including the SW Coastal Path. Would definitely return.

Clean , warm well equipped kitchen . However for us it was just abit too small - unfortunately we had to sleep separately as the main bedroom bed was not a full size Double ( I believe it’s a 4ft bed ) .. But a great base for exploring Looe and the surrounding areas - Once we navagated the quirky lay out it was fine - very much a traditional Fisherman cottage - charming full of character - Perfect location - Thanks

Everything was spot on, we had everything we needed. Only downside was we had a knock at the door just before 10am to be told check out was 9am, despite it stating 10am on two emails. Despite that small issue; no other problems.

Lovely 3-night stay in this quaint tiny cottage, tucked away in the little streets near Looe beach. Combines lots of character with comfort, taste and style, and a perfect location. I would have given 5 stars throughout except that I had to sweep the floor on arrival (everything else was spotless). Highly recommend.

five mins to the beach area and once you've negotiated all the twists and turns around the cottage, you'll be fine. the cottage itself is ok and we were just about fine with three adults and one child. take care with banging your head and twisty stairs. the cottage has everything you need bar a dishwasher and washing machine. and don't try to drive near the property as you'll be consumed by all the day trippers
