Amazing place!! Originally planned to stay 2 days and ended up staying over a week. Magical and beautiful world.

Masseria Palombara was everything we could hope for! Stunning location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, beautiful room (17th century building), excellent pool and spa, delicious food, and two great dogs (Blu and Joy). Loved every minute of our stay and already discussing when we should next return.

Soft pillows, but that's a personal preference. Everything else about our stay was perfect!

A totally amazing space (and hectares of it!), very thoughtfully designed, super friendly staff, 100% relaxed atmosphere, exceptional food and wines, a fantastic pool and Italian openair cinema every night. What’s not to like.

Loved the bikes, the incredible food and wine, the massage, the service and warmth of staff, the authenticity of the venue.

Option on grabbing coffee before breakfast! We get up early and it was a long wait to 8/ 8.30am.

This place was an actual paradise: the swimming pool was beautiful and relaxing, the room was tastefully designed and very comfortable (we especially appreciated the Comfort Zone bathroom products), the breakfast and dinner was tasty and the staff super nice. We are very grateful for being able to spend some time here, and would be delighted to return in the future, thank you for creating such an inspiring and restful place to experience Puglia!

The estate was absolutely breathtaking and the hotel premises are beautiful. The pools are incredible and our favourite activity was the late night outdoors cinema. Wonderful stay!

Beautiful Masseria, lovely room, charming pools and delicious food & cocktails! There are bikes to go around which is very pleasant! Beautifully decorated, nice vibes. I highly recommand staying there!

The setting is absolutely lovely and the decor is superb, the main house is exactly how I would dream my country house to be: warm, lovely, welcoming and sophisticated with understatement. The breakfast was lovely, we also had lunch once and it was really good: authentic ingredients with an elaborate, contemporary approach. Every little detail speaks of Salento and tells you a story. Bikes are available to go around and reach the different areas, a very nice approach. My husband had a massage session with Giusy (if I remember her name correctly) and was absolutely astounded by her ability, he absolutely adored it! The owners allowed us to stay and enjoy the pool after check-out, which was a really nice and appreciated gesture.

The philosophy of the owners is perfectly in line with what we look for: simple and authentic aesthetics, sophistication with ease and attention to details, but if we may say we think they have to work with the staff to convey the same approach, because in many occasions it did not work. We asked for cocktails by the pool and they were delicious, but we had already finished them when the waiter came with accompanying snacks (after more than 20 minutes and there were only six guests at the pool...). The owner had to reprimand a waiter as a guest was bringing back to the bar herself the bowl after she had finished the ice cream and in the same way the waiters did not collect cocktail glasses by the pool and, as it's in the countryside, the glasses filled up with ants and insects. At breakfast I asked for a decaffeinated coffee as I'm expecting and was told it was unavailable (!!), whereas the following day I asked again to a different waiter as it seemed impossible to me and it was in fact available. Almost at the end of the lunch service (there were only a few minutes left before the end) we asked to sit a table set for four closer to the pool instead of a back table set for two and were told it was not possible because we had to leave it free for a potential party of four. We sat at the table for two in the back and another waiter told us we could of course sit in the larger table and moved us. So, the idea and place are fabulous, to be really luxury please work better with the staff, otherwise unfortunately it takes away from the whole experience.
