The Staff were very service oriented and very helpful and effecient The room service was swift and had a decent selection The extended our check out time Clean and nice property and quite central .. we had to travel with Calicat so we did not have any issue .... Recommended

I requested a twin bed and the message I got was it was subject to availability. Well, you cannot keep the guest guessing whether or not you can provide what has been requested. It was a booking well in advance and you should be able to say yes or no. It is not a request for early check-in or a similar request to be subjected to availability.

Spacious room and comfy bed

Room is large and comfortable, location is superb, breakfast had several options. Definitely a hotel that makes you feel like you're staying in the lap of luxury.

Two major things that put me off while staying here: 1. They booked me into the wheelchair-accessible room at first. I suppose that way, they are able to fill up the room. But the problem was that when someone requested a wheelchair-accessible room, they asked me to shift rooms. I don't think any hotel, especially a 5-star rated hotel, should inconvenience guests by shuttling them between rooms like this. This was highly unprofessional. Special-needs rooms should be left empty so that guests aren't bothered during their stay. 2. The second room I was booked into had a dirty bathroom. The toilet was clearly used, not cleaned, not flushed and smelled badly. I also noticed that the tissues in the tissue box looked like they were stuffed back in after too many had been pulled out by the previous occupant. When I called housekeeping, they said the bathroom had been cleaned and I had to show them the obvious stains on the seat, which they insisted was just cleaning liquid stains and they said the smell was the smell of the same liquid, but I insisted they clean it once again. I asked them to change the towels too, but they said they had just changed the towels prior to my moving in, but I pointed out I was not sure after seeing the state of the toilet. I am highly disappointed by the way housekeeping was not taking responsibility for the poor cleaning job, especially when it came to matters of hygiene. Again, not expected from such a good hotel. After they left, I hosed down the toilet area myself and threw out all the seemingly touched tissues because I still felt it was smelly. If the hotel is going to inconvenience guests by making them shift rooms, the least they can do is ensure the guest gets a comfortable stay in the next room and there are no unpleasant hiccups.

Courteous and professional staff, perfect location to visit important parts of the city. All the famous food places are a short rickshaw ride away. There is an ATM in the Mall attached to the hotel accessible thru the coffee shop of the hotel.

Tea and Coffee served by room service was ordinary. Door key card keeps getting deactivated and staff at reception have to be engaged to assist. Since key card is required even to use the elevator when it is deactivated one can helpless on the wrong floor with no access to operating the lift.

Rooms were clean and the food was good.

We had a special purpose for the stay. Had ordered a special Cake and it was confirmed by them well in advance. But, they didn't keep their words and delivered a normal cake with best wishes.... We were really disappointed. Secondly, Ravis being a 5 star hotel there is no proper car parking facility. Third, they don't even give additional room access cards- just one / room....we asked for an extra card. They didn't. Likewise there are many things. For them its a small thing but for the customer everything matters.
