Emplacement excellent, équipe de réception absolument adorable qui donne plein de bons conseils sur les choses à faire aux alentours.
Chambre spacieuse et extrêmement propre, petit déjeuner très satisfaisant. Service de laundry bon marché.

Location was great, just a few blocks from the handcraft market.
Personal taxi service (comparable prices, brand new suv) to my next accommodation in Cotacachi. They said they even go to Columbia!
Room was like an American hotel but a third of the size. The room was tiny with a double bed. I was expecting more of a hostel experience. But it does have an ‘a’ in it not an ‘e’.
HostALs in Ecuador are locally owned and could be any variation of mini-hotel (like this one), farmstay (one in San Juan de Illuman) or a hotelish homestay (one in Cotacachi).
In Ecuador, hostELs seem to be more for international tourists/backpackers.
Tiny breakfast. Ask for a bigger one ahead of time. It sounded like they would if I stayed another night.
Toilet and shower were cramped with a step up into the bathroom (the step up is actually pretty common in Ecuador).

Es wurden Touren vom Hostal angeboten,der Ausblick von der Terrasse war toll, Frühstück war gut und reichlich (vielleicht ein bisschen mehr Variation wäre nett), Wäscheservice wurde angeboten
Das Zimmer war ein bisschen hellhörig, auch der Straßenlärm war ein bisschen störend, aber da es zu der Zeit "toque de queda" gegeben hat, war es zumindest zwischen 11pm-5am halbwegs ruhig

One of the best accommodation we had in Ecuador. Nice staff, good breakfast, great price, perfect location and very comfortable beds. Hot shower.
We had problems with flushing toilet. Sometimes it didn't want to inflow the water. Just check it please. Sorry not to tell you in person, but we were in a hurry when we check-out.

The boss of the hotel was super nice and gave us lots of tips for day trips around the city. He also helped us to organize them and was driving us to places to hike with his own car. He is very helpful and gives you everything to a very fair and resonable price. Best choice in Otavalo

The location is excellent, right in the center. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water (which if you've traveled in Ecuador is important). But the most important feature is the attentive and helpful staff and owner. They can provide transport for any acivity as well as suggestions for the area.

Clean room with a great view. Although it's a hotel,it has more of a hostel feel and I was able to meet other travelers with whom I could hike.

Fabulous hostel, excellent value, with spacious, light rooms; hot showers and good breakfast. The rooms are serviced each day. Staff are friendly and helpful. The kitchen is available to guests once breakfast is finished and the dining room is convenient to eat your own food if you wish. Central location, close to shops, markets and bus station.

the location is excellent, two blocks from the market and three blocks from the bus terminal. they provided a good laundry service.
the beds were not cleaned but sprayed with something which led to breathing irritation at night. we were told breakfast is served from 7:30am but this is not true. the staff come down at their leisure after 7:30am and then take their time setting up rather than serving you. this was not ideal when we had an early bus to catch to Quito, we were left with no breakfast and the staff were not apologetic at all. the walls/windows are very thin and the corridor echos so you can hear a lot of noise. hard to get hot water.

We loved our stay here! The owner Diego was exceptional, so helpful and kind and warm. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about Otavalo and the area! The hostel was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bedding smelled fantastic! The breakfast was included and was delicious.
