The location is great. Although very close to Dayanta area, it is very quiet at night. The room is spacious. Interesting decoration inside the resort. There is a beautiful garden where several peacocks and ducks are kept. It is such a unique experience to see peacocks wandering outside the balcony.

1) At check-in the lady "suggested" a paid upgrade (the price was fair, around £25 extra per night), which was a bit surprising, as most luxury hotels would usually offer free upgrade instead. I felt pressured into paying for the upgrade, as it would have been embarrassing if I had not agreed to it. 2) At check-in we specifically asked if the gym was open 24/7 and got a positive answer. When we visited the gym around 10pm, it was closed already. We went to the reception and was told that the gym was not actually open 24/7 but we could still visit it after it was closed with reservation in advance. So we kindly asked the staff to open the gym for us. Half an hour later when we went back to the gym, it was still closed, however, a sign for gym opening time magically appeared at the entrance. 3) Both of us got a throat condition in the bedroom and asked for anti-allergy pillow. Unfortunately, they ran out of it. 4) We received two gift vouchers during check-in, which would allow us two welcome drinks at the bar. Unfortunately, more than half of the drink options were not available (no sparkling water, no fresh juice, nothing alcohol, although they were all available on the menu). In the end we got a tea and a coke. 5) The bathroom amenities are a bit out-dated.

The room wasn't what was sold to me. The price was very expensive for what it was.
