The hotel is located outside the main noisy road, but still has to offer a lot of stores and restaurants nearby - which are of extremely good quality btw. The room is spacious enough and has a large balcony with comfy seatings. The shower has hot water. I really liked the staff, they were friendly and helped to arrange a whale watching at the same price as the agencies offer. They also helped with the luggage and engaged us in lovely conversations. It was great to have a possibility to grab free cold drinking water from the fridge near the desk. The hotel is very close to the beach and not far away from all the major attractions of Mirissa - we easily went everywhere on foot having 2 young kids with us.
Our stay was marked with some super noisy activities on the road - some drums and flutes sounding all night long, it seemed as there was some religious event, but why in the night and 2 night in a row? Clearly not the hotel’s fault but it might be happening frequently. The room is cold, the AC was working too heavy and some warm blankets could have helped. The shower takes 5+ minutes to warm up.

The bathrooms (we had two rooms) smelled a little, rooms were not soundproofed as was mentioned in overview on Booking.

The family of this hotel made our stay very special. This was our first stop in Sri Lanka and they organized everything perfectly. The pickup from the airport, different tours and the transfer to another city. Very uncomplicated with the possibility to communicate at every time. The hotel is fantastic with just a 2 minute or 3 minute walk to the beach. Also the breakfast was amazing and the family surprised us with little little gifts. Thank you again for the nice stay!

Comfortable and clean room with small balcony which is very nice. Room has excellent working AC. The host was very friendly. Only stayed for a single night but seems like a really nice hotel to stick around longer. Its close to the main road and Mirissa beach (few minutes walking distance) with nice bars and restaurants. Did not try the breakfast but would've if I had the time.
Shower had no cabin so bathroom gets quite wet after taking a shower
