Refurbished Cottage With Large Balcony Overlooking River Neet
Mallard Cottage remonte au milieu des années 1830. À l'origine, c'était une grange où les bateaux ont été restaurés, puis transformé en chalet. Nous avons acheté le chalet au début de 2012, mais malheureusement, il n'était pas sûr et la plupart du chalet d'origine a dû être reconstruit selon les normes modernes. Notre chalet se trouve au cœur de Bude et se trouve sur les rives de la rivière Neet, à seulement 2 minutes à pied de la plage et du canal. Il a sa propre route d'accès à l'arrière avec parking pour 2/3 véhicules et un balcon qui surplombe la rivière et le château. Grand patio au rez-de-chaussée avec palmier.

First class stay in Bude
We stayed as a family of 5 plus dog in Marks beautiful property.The cottage was spotless clean and well decorated and the wrap around balcony was great in the evening for meals and people watching.The location is exceptional ,being only a few minutes walk to the town,, canal and beach.There was plenty of parking.Communication with Mark was great .Thank you

Accommodation had everything we needed. Balcony was lovely because we couldn't go out in the evenings with babies asleep, but could sit and watch the world go by!

Excellent holiday property!
This lovely house is ideally situated in Bude, near enough to walk to local attractions, the beaches, etc, but not central enough to be noisy. It was spotlessly clean and had ample space to accommodate three of us (will actually sleep five). Everything you can think of was provided and the only thing I could think of to improve the property (and this is only a personal preference as I am a light sleeper) is blackout curtains. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Gorgeous place in great location
We had a wonderful stay at Mallard Cottage which is clean, well furnished, comfortable and in a great location for access to all of the great attractions in Bude including the beach. We will be back!!

A wonderful central location
The cottage had a great position in central Bude and we loved being able to watch the comings and goings on the balcony. The clever upside down design gave some lovely nighttime views over the river. The property was clean and perfect for us as 3 adults and 2 little ones.

Lovely unusual cottage
We have stayed in Mallard Cottage several times and it's a great place. It's well designed with a spacious, living area upstairs and a wrap around balcony with views across the river. The paved garden is lovely too.
We happened to meet the owners this year are they were on holiday nearby. They are really friendly and do everything they can to help. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we felt confident that rigorous Covid-19 procedures were in place.

Great cottage in a great location
Fab cottage in the centre of town - we only used the car one day for a trip to Rock For breakfast at The Blue Tomato Cafe. Ideally located for walking and running on the beach, canal and coastal paths. Clean and safe and well presented. Very thoughtful owner and the welcome prosecco, tea and coffee was a lovely touch - definitely one to rebook!

Easy walk to the beaches , canal and cafes and restaurants
The house is well equipped and plenty of room
Weather was awful for our stay but I expect the wrap round decking is wonderful in the warmer weather
Would certainly recommend and plan to return ourselves

Brilliant spot in an great seaside town!
Modern, light and airy, this property suited our multi-generation group to a 'T.' The balcony caught the sun all day and the patio was great to sit out. Private parking was handy and the spacious, wide-head showers were top notch! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting this great Cornish resort!

Beautiful property in a fantastic location
Me and my 2 daughters and 2 dogs have had the best time here, it's such a lovely property with everything and more that we needed, the showers were amazing. Everything in the area is on the doorstep so no need to use the car, the walks and beaches are great and the fact it's mostly dog friendly is good too, will definately be coming back

Fantastic property and a brilliant location!
We had a lovely long weekend stay in Mallard Cottage. It has been beautifully renovated and it's in a prime location in Bude, we didn't us the car once. Our 3 year old daughter didn't want to come home. Would definitely visit again :)

Just stayed at Mallard Cottage for a week; smashing place and ideal location for surfing, pubs, walks and shops - did not need car!!
Recently renovated house with upstairs lounge and views of the River Strat and Marshes.
Staggering distance of the Brendon Arms & Falcon Hotel - both serve good beer and food.
Thoroughly recommand Mallard for comfortable family holidays.
