Nick , we got iphone back from the van' driever amoment ago and iinally are on the way to vangvien by train.. I really appriciate you. Your organization was exellant! Ihad naver thought i coud find a lost cellphone even in korea..horay laos and bravo mandala ou resort.

Very professional and friendly staff! Mandala Ou feels like a little Oasis, quiet, well organised, with some really nice eye for detail. We enjoyed our stay a lot and even extended it for a day.

Nick and his colleague Kenny (and the rest of the staff) made is so welcome.
The accommodation was really unique and lovely. Views over the pool and out to the river were amazing.
We took a local boat up river to Muang Ngoi for a night, the help us to figure out how to do it and kept our large luggage whilst we took the trip.
It was fab chatting to Nick (and his brother who was working locally) and Kenny, they made is feel a part of their lives for the few days we were there.
Food was lovely, with real homemade sausages at breakfast and a wide range of Lao/Thai dishes as well as western stuff.

There wasn't any aircon in the rooms so can be quite hot. It's a bit away from main area - 15min walk but can use bikes to get around.

Everything!
The location is perfect, near the village centre, with a wonderful view over the river. All the environment, trees and plants, is very peaceful. The atmosphere is quiet. We do appreciate the silence.
The bungalow is very well furnished, quiet and comfortable.
The breakfast is amazing and the restaurant is good.
The owners are very nice and the staff is considerate. Many sophisticated details show that the owners pay a real attention to the comfort of the guests.
We warmly recommend this hotel without any hesitation!

Maybe more a suggestion than something we did not like: adding a note on how to use the shower to make it hot (and not only warm).

Mandala Ou is just lovely. The views are fantastic, the pool beautiful, staff friendly and food fantastic. The whole places has been very well designed. Loved waking up to a view of the river and hanging out by the pool talking to the team. Well worth a stay.

Nic (the owner) is a really nice guy, always worry to have you confortable. The service was amazing during our whole staying. The view from the pool is simple breathtaking. The food was nice and cheap. Highly recommended! He even arrange our tours with local guides and found us very good activities to do.

We had a lovely stay at the Mandala Ou Resort! The swimming pool is small but offers a beautiful view on the river. The rooms are lovely, the staff friendly and the breakfast is great. Nong Khiaw is small, and the hotel is situated at the end of the main road. The resort offers free bikes and you can ride up to the main bridge to watch the sunset, one of my best memories of our trip in Laos.
Water from the shower was quickly on the whole bathroom floor as there was nothing to stop it, but honestly, a very minor inconvenience, the room was great.
