Vintage Island Cottage on the Beach- Sunset Views - Bamboo Apts. C1
Bienvenue dans notre chalet! Si vous cherchez un endroit simple, calme et sans stress pour profiter de la plage, c'est tout. Ce n'est pas un condo de luxe - pas de longs couloirs, un parking éloigné, des ascenseurs ou des foules - et il n'y a pas de rues à traverser pour atteindre la plage. Le chalet est un duplex, et cette liste est pour le plus grand côté. VRBO # 327896 vous montrera le petit côté. Les deux côtés partagent un porche grillagé face à la plage.
Le chalet a été construit en 1912 ou plus, comme maison de gardien pour une maison plus grande qui a maintenant disparu. Il a été soigneusement entretenu et mis à jour, mais a conservé le charme d'une époque révolue.
Les murs intérieurs sont en pin cœur, tout comme les sols, remis à la main. Le mobilier a été choisi pour le confort: un fauteuil inclinable en rotin et un canapé-lit assorti dans le salon, une table à manger avec des feuilles (au cas où vous souhaiteriez avoir un invité ou deux pour le dîner) et un lit king-size dans la chambre.
Le chalet est ombragé par d'anciens pins australiens et dispose d'un porche grillagé partagé confortable pour une vue au premier rang des couchers de soleil et des étoiles. Avec les fenêtres ouvertes la nuit, vous pouvez entendre le surf!
Sortez directement de la porte de la véranda et descendez jusqu'à la plage - pas de rues à traverser. Ou, asseyez-vous sur la terrasse et savourez votre café et votre journal, ou vos cocktails. Nos clients nous disent que la meilleure partie de la terrasse (en plus de la vue) est sa taille - beaucoup d'espace pour s'étendre.
Nous sommes situés à un pâté de maisons du Cafe on the Beach, pratique pour les petits-déjeuners de crêpes à volonté, les déjeuners rapides et les dîners relaxants. L'aire de jeux en bord de mer est à un pâté de maisons et demi. Prenez le chariot gratuit et découvrez le reste de l'île.

Very nice accommodations. Easy beach access, lots of amenities, and it's clean. Lots to do, great eateries, close grocery store. We’d love to not review and keep this place a secret, but it’s too good not to share with others. Enjoy!

Weekend getaway with family! Perfect place and location! Cottage has everything you need and we received a sweet welcome basket when we arrived at our cute little cottage! Very nice surprise!
The owner was very friendly and caring! I loved the beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie board we had right on our porch to take to the beach. The beach was amazing and only steps away! The shower pressure was the best ever! Plenty of towels. Comfortable and cozy cottage. Great location! We will be back! We made some sweet memories at the charming cottage!!

The cottage is just steps away from the beach, but it is also very close to public beach access which can get a little crowded at times. Towels, umbrellas and chairs are included. Very clean!

Nice cosy rustic cottage along the beach. For two adults who like each other the place is very good. The place was built many years ago, so the walls to your potential neighbor are thin. But we had an enjoyable time.

We stayed in Cottage 1 and we had a great time! Very close walk to beach from the courtyard. We enjoyed the sunset each night and talking with other guests at the Bamboo Apartments. Alice, the owner, was an excellent host and we plan to be back next year!

We enjoyed our stay at Bamboo in Holmes Beach. Just steps from the beautiful beach and very close to restaurants and shopping. A convenient location, and a comfortable place to stay. Alice left a nice welcome basket for us which was a nice surprise!

Cottage was as advertised. It's not updated but it doesn't need to be. It's a 1900's pine cabin. Really a unique experience. Front row view and steps from the beach.

This was such a perfect place for our family to relax and be refreshed for the weekend! Just steps from the beach, we could come and go as we pleased! The accomodations were quaint and peaceful! We enjoyed the close proximity to the Trolley for getting out to explore AMI! We would love to stay again!

This house is so perfectly spaced so it is just off the beach and you don’t feel like everyone at the beach is staying with you yet it’s right there so it’s a simple walk down the path to the water. Easy access to places in town and surrounding towns.

Perfect Spot
The cottage was a perfect little spot for my wife and I. Just steps from the beach, as well as several other walkable locations. Centrally located on the island, can get to just about anywhere via car within 5 minutes or so. Alice was a gracious host and quick to respond if we needed anything. We will be back!

The property is in an amazing location, and the property owners take every consideration of their guests, right down to beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. Would stay again.

Alice is so easy to deal with. We rented both sides. My son and myself and daughter with her husband. We saw beautiful sunsets every night. Premises were clean and ideal. Will definitely return. Thanks.

The relaxing private patio area was outstanding. Great place to nap and read. The nearby beach allowed for resort style rental of lounge chairs and great umbrella.

Quick January Vacation - enjoyed our stay!!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The beach cottage was exactly as advertised. It was a very comfortable stay in a cottage right on the beach built about 100 years ago. The cottage itself was unpretentious (which was the point for us) and allowed us to focus on the beautiful outdoors with it's amazing location that is literally steps to a beautiful gulf beach. The owner was very attentive and had a gift basket and wine for us when we arrived. We go on a few vacations per year and I rarely write reviews, this time I am writing the review because I enjoyed it so much. Make sure you walk to Publix and get breakfast foods and snacks though because a lot of the breakfast eateries were closed over the weekend days and on Mondays and we had a hard time finding a place to eat breakfast right on the island. Otherwise, great stay!!

Liked location, management, and fit for us. Only note is that sofa and chair are outdated or need upholstery cleaned. I truly appreciate Alice. She was helpful and attentive. Will book with her again if go that direction

Just Perfect!
My family enjoyed a peaceful and joyful time at the Bamboo Cottage. We stayed eight nights while there for the US Youth National Soccer Championships. The games were on the mainland part of Florida, but we wanted to stay somewhere relaxing after the games and Bamboo Cottage provided just that! It was a quick 30 minute drive each day...making other things very accessible and yet this was still "away" from all the busy aspects of downtown Sarasota/Bradenton. It was quiet, simple and perfect here! Thanks for a great stay!
