We had a great time on Lake Punshaw! House had everything we needed, easy check in/out.

Just a beautiful cottage. Right on the water which is exactly what we were looking for. Great parking, enough room for our kayak trailer and easy access to the water for our kayaks. Cottage was terrific. Bedroom sliders out to the patio and dock made getting in and out very easy. We had great weather, the lake was clean and clear and the kayaking and fishing was superb. Super spot!!

We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning next summer. Excellent location right on the water. Very charming cottage with plenty of room for our family. Wonderful!

Very peaceful, relaxing stay on this lovely lake. Close enough to get to Acadia NP, Schoodic Peninsula and Bangor. Super well stocked kitchen!

PROS: the view & the lake were beautiful, & quiet. The dock was very accessible. There were lots of available games & puzzles. All the kitchen equipment was in good working order & fairly well appointed . Very clean except 1 issue. CONS: Everything was spotless but a pillow case which was visibly dirty & had obvious blood on it. Thankful we had a couple of pillows with us as no extra linens were available. Bazaar set up: the main refrigerator was downstairs from the kitchen & through a bedroom into a storage/laundry room. The upstairs bedroom looked like it was an easy climb up from the living room but @ the landing it became a steep, built in ladder which was treacherous especially with a suitcase. The dock, outside area & lake were lovely but there was a scarcity of floats & water equipment. If there were more in the shed, we didn’t have access to them b/c the property manager, Tiffany, (admittedly) forgot to unlock it & didn’t let us know till the end of the week. What we thought was a grill was actually a griddle. We decided to make the best of it but the gas tank was empty. We replaced the tank (out of pocket) but the grill itself didn’t get hot enough to cook so that was a waste of our time & money. And you had to walk downstairs, through a bedroom or out & around the house to access the grill & picnic table. Lastly, kayaks were there in plain sight but Tiffany informed us it would be $25/day per kayak to use them. That is a bit outrageous.

This was our second stay. The owners made lovelynupdatesbin the kitch with new countertops and large deep sink. The lake is very peaceful , so if relaxation is what you want rent this home. The only negative we were unabke to get bed room TV to work even after reaching out.

We loved the ease of staying in this cottage and its proximity to the water, the lake is gorgeous, we hope to come again!

The property was clean and as described. The property manager was nice and reached out a couple days before our stay. I would rent again.

Clean, cozy, and super cute cabin. I wish we were there to enjoy the warmer weather on the lake. Perfect location for quiet and relaxation, but not too far from attractions.

Pushaw lake was beautiful and we had access to a canoe, but there was a $25/day charge for the Kayak, which we did not use. The cottage was clean and included a washing machine and dryer. The small kitchen had a gas stove and dorm-size refrigerator. The full size refrigerator was located in the lower level with the washer & dryer and next to the master bedroom. The bathroom was on the first floor so needed a flashlight to make a.m. visits. Also, the ceilings are lower than normal so be careful to not bump your head if you are tall (especially when going down stairs to the master bedroom and refrigerator). Didn't use the TV cause reception was poor. Also wish could locate manuals for the TV and "toaster." As I said, the lake was beautiful and very clean and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay while we hiked in the area and drove 1-1/2 hours to Acadia National Park.

Property amazing exactly as described. The sunsets breath takeing, water crystal clear. Enjoyed kayaking and fishing. Only a short drive to Arcadia National Park and Bar Harbor area. Looking forward to visiting again next year. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Carol & Mark

This camp had everything we needed! We very much enjoyed our stay. Fishing off the dock was awesome! Beautiful sunsets, private setting, nice walks on quiet camp roads, great view from the dining room table!! Thanks for sharing your camp!

The cottage looks small from outside but really beautiful, clean and cozy inside with enough space inside for 4 of us. Loved the décor inside with cute little bears everywhere! Right on the water, view is breathtaking and just felt so private! We absolutely loved it!!

This was a nice relaxing place to get away for a few days. It was very quiet on the lake and in the neighborhood. Tiffany was helpful with info on places to eat, like Pats Pizza in Oreno, it was great.

The house was comfortable and location right on the water was great!

The property was in great condition and thr manager was very responsive to any issues i had throughout my stay (which wasn’t many). My only “complaint” was that the ceilings were pretty low. My husband is 6’1” and his head was almost touching! Lol so a warning to those who are on the taller side. This didn’t effect our stay at all. Everything was great :)

All was as advertised and clean and easy to check in. We were a couple plus two friends so the accomodations were just right for sleeping. We had a couple friends and their two kids come over for some lake fun during the day too. The mosquitos were monsters though by the shore but I imagine it was just their first foray out!

Such a quaint little spot, right on the lake!! Great patio to watch the stars with a fire (wood provided!) in the fire chimney. Communications by housekeeping (Tiffany) was fabulous!! Fall colors are beyond description!!

The location of the house on the lake was gorgeous! The house was very clean and Tiffany was extremely helpful and responsive. I would recommend staying here if you need some R-n-R. Totally worth the long drive.

Our stay was great, everything was as described. Very clean and had everything we needed. Tiffany was a great host and was a charm to communicate with when I had a few pesky questions! We can’t wait to stay again!

Our family had an enjoyable time at the property after spending several days camping in Acadia National Park. It was great to unwind by the water and relax. The property was well taken care of, clean and had all amenities needed for a weekend away. Highly recommended.

Good stay all around. Highly recommended. Only (small) complaint is that headroom a little low in places for anyone over 6 ft.

The property was close enough to some amenities (grocery stores, etc), but far enough away to enjoy being away from it all. Cottage was a bit on the small side, but enough room for the family to spread out. Way better value than anything you can get with a hotel stay.

Property is very nicely maintained and Tiffany, the Property Manager was superb. The main boat ramp on the lake has parking for 6-8 rigs and one day during the week it was full. One caution that I wish owner had warned me about is that there is a shallow rocky ridge, unmarked and tough to see as you head out from the the property dock. I did not have problem if kept trim up until out to about 9 foot depth.

Great house to vacation in or use when visiting family. We had everything we needed from wifi, cable tv, games, and of course outside fun, including, grill, fire pit, and canoes. The loons were amazing in the evening.

Very clean and cozy cabin on a serene lake. Direct access to the lake with beautiful views from the cabin. Stress free stay as the cabin is fully stocked, inside and out. Able to fish right from the back yard and enjoyed a peaceful canoe ride around the lake. Fire pit was perfect at night. Online listing is accurate, great communication with the hosts and co-host Tiffany (who did a wonderful job of taking care of the cabin and making sure we had everything we needed). Thank you so much! The cottage is just perfect. We will definitely recommend this place and looking forward to staying again!
