Elena’s care and attention was the icing on the very fantastic cake of a well designed 3 bedroom apartment right near the Arsenale and Guiardini. The local shopping for at home cooking is superb as are the local restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked a meal for 9 people several nights without any problems. It’s clean, comfortable (ok a better couch would be appreciated) and well stocked with linens, towels and basic things like toilet paper, napkins etc.

This stunning apartment has everything: location, space, light, comfort, etc. Just downstairs you find endless excellent food/drink options and in a few minutes you can walk to the water or the gardens or the shops. There are two ensuite bedrooms and a third bedroom and bath next to each other. The central open living area is perfect. We four friends all agreed it was our favorite Venice stay ever.

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay at this conveniently located property. It has multiple restaurants, a grocery store, and bakery within walking distance. The property itself is well-appointed with 3 full bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, A/C (a must in summer), and WiFi. Elena, the property manager, was very communicative before our arrival and helped us navigate transportation from the airport to the vaporetto stop closest to the property. She even met us at the stop and walked us to the apartment and recommended restaurants, a gondola ride, and how to navigate the vaporetto lines to Lido, Murano, and Burano. I highly recommend this apartment when staying in Venice!

The property was clean and spacious. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths great for a larger family. Great location but also allows you to experience a more real experience of Venician life. The host was incrediable . She was very responsive and went above and beyond to help us when our phone was stollen. 5 + stars for this property.

Elena, our host, was incredible. She answering our questions quickly prior to arrival and was available during our visit if we needed advice. She even texted during our stay to make sure everything was alright. Elena met us at the dock at the exact moment our water taxi arrived and we immediately were comfortable. Elena explained her city and made excellent recommendations. The apartment has three full baths. Two are accessed through bedrooms and one was in the hall leading to a bedroom. There are many little touches that make it like a home that has been truely loved. It is so much more than a rental. There is plenty of dishware, and supplies to get you started, like paper towels and napkins. The air conditioning was efficient which we turned off during the day to save electricity. We were a family of two children in their twenties, parents and an aunt. This was a perfect place for us. During our stay we did a walking tour of Venice, went to Murano and Burano by valporetta, and walked to the center of the city daily. The neighborhood has its own restaurants and bakeries so after a long day of crowds it is a beautiful oasis that smells beautifully while the jasmine is in bloom early summer. There are turtles to watch In the park and super yachts that park at the end of the road. I can’t say enough of the beauty of this experience.

Casa bella e confortevole, dotata anche di quei piccoli accessori che spesso non si trovano nelle case in locazione, attaccapanni in ogni stanza, completa fornitura di stoviglie per la cucina ecc. Posizione defilata dai grandi movimenti turistici ma comunque vivace e a due passi dalle fermate dei vaporetti. Assolutamente consigliabile.

Apartment is extremely comfortable and perfectly located. Right on Via Garibaldi, directly across from the Giardini. Elena provided great direction from the airport and was there to meet us upon arrival. When in Venice Castello and this apartment is the place to stay!

We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely 3 BR, 3 Bath property. The location is just perfect with a grocery, 2 pharmacies & many restaurants right at our door. It was a short walk to St. Marks Square & so much better than staying right there as it was less hustle & bustle. Very convenient to the vaporetto. Our hostess was excellent. Check in & out was easy. Hope to go again!

Wir verbrachten eine Woche mit 6 Personen in dieser Wohnung. Die Lage ist optimal, ursprünglich, zentrumsnah mit herrlichem Weg an der Lagune zum Marcusplatz. Die Übergabe war unkompliziert und Elena ist eine äußerst sympathische und für alle Fragen offene Frau. Wir waren mit unseren 75-jährigen Eltern da, die Treppe zur Wohnung ist recht steil, ansonsten für ältere Leute kein Problem. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Bars und Restaurants sind für alle Ansprüche vorhanden. Die Spülmaschine war kaputt, eine Reparatur kurzfristig leider nicht möglich. Alles in allem ist diese Wohnung eine klare Empfehlung.

The apartment was a fabulous base to explore Venice from. Castello is a beautiful area which is less crowded than the main tourist sites and has a lovely relaxed feel to it. Via Garibaldi is a wide street with lots of bars and restaurants, supermarket, bakery and fruit and veg stalls. Elena was really helpful with travel tips and met us at the vaporetto stop. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. You can walk to St Mark's Square along the water front in about 20 mins. We would recommend the Secret Itineraries tour of the Palace. We also did a trip to Burano and Murano using the vaporetto 24 hour pass and a trip on Vaporetto 1 at night is a must! Thank you so much Elena

We loved this apartment- in a perfect location away from the tourist areas and right near the biennale. Clean and modern, it’s lovely, spacious and perfectly laid out, with a nice living area and 3 good size bedrooms each with a bath. Love the terrace overlooking the street. A perfect place in Venice - hosts were helpful and gracious with our whole group. I plan to stay here again if it’s not all booked up! Thanks for a great trip.

First of all our hostess was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to help us with getting into and out of the city of Venice. She was informative of everything to do in the city and was very prompt with communication. The appartment was super clean, very spacious and in a very quaint location. There were many local restaurants on the walkway that the apartment is located. We visited a couple of them and the food was awesome and prices were reasonable. This area is more laid back and away from the crowded main areas. However, the crowds are just a short walk away at busy areas such as San Marco's Square. I would highly recommend staying at this VRBO. Very affordable, safe, secure, clean, spacious, and all the comforts of home.

Cool and spacious apartment with good access to Biennale sites

We loved staying in this apartment. All modern fittings in a beautiful old apartment with a view to the Garibaldi Statue. On a street popular with both locals and tourists, with lots of good restaurants and bars. Elena was enormously helpful in getting us settled. We used transit passes so we could easily walk to St Marks or take a Vaporetto there or elsewhere. We enjoyed Elena's instructions for putting out the trash-- take it to the trash barge in the morning.

Spent 3 nights in this lovely apartment with my college-age daughters , and a friend and her daughters ... really great space for the 6 of us and we enjoyed being out of the hustle bustle yet convenient to water bus and could walk everywhere. Highly recommend!

It has everything you need, lots of space, comfy beds, good water pressure in the showers and we loved the location. Away from the crowds but an easy 15 minute walk to St. Marks Square and easy access to Murano, Burano and back to the Grand Canal. Lots of restaurants, fabulous pastry shops, a grocery store and a few retail shops all right down the street. Elena is a delight to work with and took very good care of us. We highly recommend this location!

Loved this apartment in Venice!!! Very nicely decorated and perfect for our family of 6. Ideally located in a quieter section of Venice but only about a 10 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. Elena met us at the boat stop & escorted us to the apartment. She was very friendly, welcoming & informative. We loved Venice & would definitely recommend this apartment!!!

This is a great apartment for exploring Venice from. We loved the location. You have everything you need close by but without the hordes that you encounter in the centre of Venice. The apartment is well equipped and the three bedrooms all with their own bathrooms are perfect for a group or family.

Elena's apartment was magnificent. The picture shows only a glimpse. Everything worked perfectly including the air conditioning which was necessary the four days we were there. The location was also perfect. The apartment is an easy walk to two water taxi stops, and is close to St. Marks place and the Rialto bridge. The grocery store is a two minute walk from the apartment along with a pharmacy and ATM's. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Elena met us at the water taxi when we arrived and let us check out late when there was a fowl up with our train reservation. Dan and Robin

We had a fantastic time in Venice and at this apartment. When we arrived the hostess met us at the water taxi stop and walked us to the apartment, which was about a 5 minute walk through a park. We were happy that the apartment was just as described with modern upgrades and was spotlessly clean. We were given some local recommendations and especially loved Trattoria Dai Tosi! We ate dinner there twice because it was all locals and was very lively. The apartment is in a great local neighborhood about a 15 minute walk along the water from the tourist sites and cruise ships. We would love to stay here again if we return to Venice!

Our group of 6 (three senior couples) loved this apartment. It was at the end of a month long trip and was our favorite VRBO accommodation. Each bedroom was nice sized with either an en suite bath (2) and one just across a small hall. One bedroom is on the front side of the unit overlooking the square and two are towards the back side, away from the street (of course with no cars, what difference does it make!). The kitchen/living area was generous and we could all socialize comfortably. The kitchen was adequately appointed - we even cooked dinner one night. Stores, restaurants and the vaparetto were all close - there is even a small canal right out the door. We walked or took the vaparetto everywhere. The apartment is as pictured and very well maintained. The wi-fi worked great and the owners were lovely to work with. They made everything easy for us. We particularly enjoyed the smell of fresh baked croissants wafting up from the lovely bakery below each morning - morning coffee there was delightful. As the pop-up green grocer set up each morning, the parents and grandparents were walking the children to school. This was truly a neighborhood setting like no other. Garabaldi Park is directly across the street with lovely strolling and some interesting restaurants to explore in the park too. The custom we found most interesting was setting your garbage out each morning (by 8!). Venice has no capacity to store garbage and the entire island is emptied of its waste every day. The guys with these push carts whisk around picking it up from your doorstep. Venice is charming and this apartment definitely added to our enjoyment of this beautiful city.

Paolo and Giuliana were perfect hosts. Paolo was always prompt in answering all of my emails, as this was our first trip to Venice, and he even arranged for a water taxi to meet us at the airport dock when we arrived. The taxi took us directly to the Giardini stop and Paolo's wife, Giuliana, was there to greet us. I believe we arrived around 6 or 6:30 pm, but she walked us to the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know, from the washers to the internet, to make our stay perfect. The apartment was in a great neighborhood, just a short walk from the vaporetto stop. There were three large bedrooms and three bathrooms, all tastefully decorated, that made it perfect for our family of five. The apartment is set up in a way that you can have your privacy when you retire in evening, and also congregate in the main room with plenty of comfortable seating. There is one set of stairs to get up to the apartment, but it is not too bad - No elevator, though. There were two markets near the apartment to buy necessities, as well as many restaurants and bars that were convenient and reasonably priced just outside the building. The apartment is a short trek to St. Mark's square which is a beautiful walk along the canal and definitely was a plus because we found ourselves walking a lot. Regardless if we took the vaporetto or walked, we always felt very safe in the neighborhood, and Venice overall. I would highly recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Venice. Thanks again to Paolo and Guiliana for a memorable vacation!
