The Astor has the look of a 60s American motel, which is a plus in my eyes. The room was compact, clean and comfortable. There's a good bar/bistro on the premises, but it's also an easy walk into town. Although situated on the main road, the rooms are slightly set back and so not noisy. Albury is my favoured stop off point when driving from Sydney to Melbourne. This was my first stay at the Albury but I'd readily return. It's great value for money.

Great location adjoining onto the bistro and bar. Very convenient for a short stopover. Although the room was small, it is was very clean and tidy.

The bathroom doesn't have a vanity basin. The sink in the studio is set up for this.

The room was extremely tired and in need of immediate maintenance, the wall in the bathroom was rotting, no basin or mirror either.

The price was reasonable and the location convenient to the train station. Plenty of places to eat and live bands for free at the local pubs Friday and Saturday nights.

This motel is in a handy location for Albury, with the benefit of being on site at a great pub. The bed was comfy, with good quality, clean sheets and pillows.perfect for a short stay where you don’t plan on spending heaps of time, but want a comfy clean bed and handy access to a pub for dinner.

the rooms were very basic and small, which is fine, but there were a few things that could have been better including the lack of sink and mirror in the bathroom (only a sink and mirror in the kitchenette jn the room) and being such a small room this made it a hard place to get ready. I also didn’t like that smoking was allowed on the balcony at the top of the stairs directly outside the rooms.

Room was very clean and just right size for an overnighter.

The room was clean and tidy but a bit musty and dated vs the exterior. The AC on the wall had a hole in it which went directly to outside where the carpark was, so we could hear people coming and going all night. Comfortable bed and good room size.

the bathroom is a little outdated, no sink, only the “kitchen” sink, apart from that it wasn’t too bad!

Conveniently located right off the Hume. staff were amazing very friendly and room was clean and perfect for our overnight stay.

Rooms could do with an update. microwave would also be handy.
