Spacious, modern, clean and well equipped two bed room apartment. Nice neighborhood. About 12 minutes walk to beach and restaurants. About 12 minutes walk to a major supermarket which also has a food court and you can feed any sort of picky eater there.
Host is super nice and quickly responsive.
Balcony is lovely to sit and relax.
ACs are cool and quiet.

Our family of four had the best time in Cascais. This apartment was incredibly spacious and had every comfort of home. We were here for a wedding- and this space was a quiet, relaxing oasis. The apartment was exactly as described on the VRBO site. It was spotless. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. Maria Jose was there to show us everything and recommended a couple a restaurants across the street . They were delicious. Location was close to shops , restaurants and the beach. We could not have asked for better accommodations for our vacation in Cascais. We loved it!

We were met by the owner on check-in and given a warm welcome. The property was spotlessly clean, spacious and very well equipped. There are a couple of great restaurants across the road and local stores for essentials. Cascais beaches are a 1km/20mins walk from the apartment and are very clean with good amenities. The centre of Cascais is lively with lots of shops and restaurants. The apartment provided a very comfortable base for our stay. The owners were responsive to messages when needed. Overall, the apartment gave us a great base and we had a fantastic holiday. We thoroughly recommend the apartment.

We received a warm and helpful welcome. The apartment is modern funishered, well equipped and there have been no issues at all. Plenty of parking space outside. If you are sensitive to it, some traffic noise from the street could be bothersome while sitting outside. Overall I highly recommend this apartment. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay!

This is our 2nd time staying at this property -- and definitely will not be the last. Fernando and Maria José are wonderful, friendly, and extremely helpful. The property itself is immaculate, in a great location (just a short walk to Cascais), and very well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We are missing it already. Fantastic apartment and excellent hosts
This apartment is one of the best we have ever stayed in. Everything you could want was there. The building is really quiet and calm. All the utilities were of the best quality.
The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. They let us check in early and organised airport transfers for us.
The location is about a 10 minute downhill walk to central Cascais. It is within very easy access to bus and train station and to the market.
There is a Lovely, friendly bakery across the road. I went one evening and was €1 short. He told me to bring it the next day. The restaurant Vela Azul is 2 minutes away and fantastic.
Would highly recommend this apartment.

Our hosts were exceptional, the apartment was beautiful, spacious and spotless. The location was fine for us but is an uphill walk from the town. There is however a good bus service. A welcome pack might have been useful as our arrival was much delayed and the shops and restaurants were closed.

We're 2 adults and 3 teenagers (so we need an accommodation with some space) and the apartment was perfect! Great location, we didn't need to rent a car and visited Sintra (bus) and Lisbon (train). The fish restaurant near the apartment is amazing, best Sea Bass I've ever eaten. The bakery is super convenient and the people are very friendly. The old town and beaches are 10 minutes walk from the apartment. It's well equipped and has everything you would need. The owners, Maria Jose & Fernando are very friendly and helpful! I would not hesitate for a second to recommend staying there and would definitely return for a future visit!!

Spent 10 nights in Maria Jose and Fernando’s apartment in Aug 18. Absolutely stunning apartment, immaculate, spacious and full of modern touches throughout. Only 10 mins walk to centre of Cascais and great location for day trips to numerous beaches, Sintra and Lisbon etc. I can’t emphasise enough how fantastic this apartment is and thank you to Maria Jose and Fernando for the smooth communication and warm welcome. Well appointed property in good location
All contact made with José Maria and Ferdinand during the booking process were responded to promptly and were very helpful. On arrival at the property we were welcomed by José Maria and Ferdinand who were very thorough in explaining to us how everything worked in the apartment, including access to the private garage, the large screen TV, the audio system and all the other great amenities. The apartment is on the first floor of a small, modern building with only 2 units on each floor. There is an elevator from the garage level to each floor if needed. The building is in excellent condition, very secure and electrically operated roll-away shutters on all doors and windows in the unit gave an added sense of security. The furnishings are all of high quality, an extremely comfortable bed in the master bedroom and numerous electrical outlets throughout the unit. The kitchen, at the rear of the unit, is well equipped with up-to-date appliances, including a washing machine, dish washer and refrigerator/freezer. We were able to easily come and go as we pleased during our 10 day stay, and did not hear or encounter any other occupants of the building......apart from some slight traffic noise it was very quiet in the unit. The walk into Cascais is an easy 10 minutes (downhill) with some interesting sites on the way if you take some of the side streets. Cascais itself is a very clean, relaxing town with many great restaurants and delightful walks along the well maintained ocean-front. Additionally, it's a very easy (and inexpensive) train ride to Lisbon, with trains running every 20 minutes. The other must-see site close-by is Sintra, only a 15 minute drive, but due to its worldwide popularity, traffic and parking could be a problem in the peak tourist season. Overall, we would highly recommend Cascais and this property. Well worth the 5***** rating.

A great stay - all perfect!
My wife and I, and our three children, recently returned from a week in Cascais (which is beautiful). The apartment had everything we needed. It certainly met our expectations. We also had the pleasure of meeting Fernando and his wife, Maria José.
Cascais is a beautiful place with great restaurants and very friendly people. Staying at the apartment made it possible to enjoy Cascais from a convenient location. The apartment itself is situated about 10-12 minutes walk from the centre. This, in my view, is a nice and very manageable distance and our children enjoyed the walk.
There is very little that needs to be said about the apartment. As previous commentators have remarked, it has everything that one could need. I really have no suggestions for improvement.
If you are going to Cascais, enjoy the food, the warmth of the people and the convenience and facilities of the apartment.
We look forward to having the opportunity to return again.

Perfect luxury apartment - no car needed
We returned last week after spending two weeks in Cascais in this lovely apartment. The apartment was perfect for us - modern, luxurious, spotlessly clean, well maintained and stocked with everything you would need during your stay. The temperature was 38 degrees when we first arrived so we were so happy to have such efficient air-con in the bedroom and lounge.
The apartment is ideally situated for walking into Cascais, where you will find excellent restaurants, beaches, bars and a fabulous market. You do not need a car as there is a train station 10 mins walk away and we caught the bus to Sintra across the road. Whilst we enjoyed the centre of Cascais and hiring bikes to ride to Guincho beach, it was also lovely to visit the local fish restaurant (Vela Azul) 2 mins from the apartment and the friendly bar across the road where you can really mix with the locals.
Maria Jose and Fernando are genuine and lovely people. They gave us a such a warm welcome and we will definitely return to stay in their perfect luxury apartment.

LOVED our stay!
We had the most amazing time staying at Maria José and Fernando's lovely apartment. Having lived in the area 12 years ago, we knew exactly where we wanted to be, and what we were looking for in a flat, and boy, did this place deliver! The location is just a quick walk to Cascais, but far enough away to be quiet and serene. You're also among the locals there, which is a big plus in our book.
The flat was spotless and well stocked -- had everything we needed! PLUS a bottle of wine upon arrival. So thoughtful. They even had beach toys, towels and chairs.
Maria Jose was a superb communicator up to and during our stay, and answered all our questions promptly. Fernando is equally as helpful, and they are such nice people. You won't regret staying here. You'll only regret it when you have to leave! We can't wait to go back.

Luxury appartment close to everything
This property is superb. It is a luxury appartment, which is very clean and where everything is in order. We had our two teenage daughters with us, and the appartment was perfect for us. Spacious and with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The appartment is located close to everything. It is easy to walk to the different beaches, the center of Cascais and to the train station, where it is very easy to get to Lisbon.
Cascais has many shops and restaurants, and we had a wonderful holiday in these surroundings.
Everything in the property matched the given information.
We can highly recommend a stay in this very comfortable, luxury appartment, which will be the perfect base for every holiday.
And it was a great pleasure to meet Maria and Fernando, who provided the most excellent customer service.
Generally the restaurants in Cascais served very delicious food at very reasonable prices.
Both Lisbon and Sintra are very interesting places to visit from Cascais. It is also a good idea to walk the promenade to Estoril.

Super Location
What a fabulous apartment! First time in Portugal and wanted to appreciate the culture. The apartment could not have been nicer. The owners have put every detail into and it was extremely comfortable for two couples. We walked every day into the charming town of Cascais and found fantastic restaurants of every price point. The food could not have been fresher. As one restaurant owner told me, in Cascais they know how to cook.
Easy drive from Lisbon airport, and an easier train ride to Lisbon for sightseeing. Took a long ride by rental car to Porto, but well worth it.
The owners were extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions and sightseeing tips.
I would love to come back again and use the same property. Very well recommended

Fantastic property!
This apartment which is about 2 years old is located in a lovely quiet residential area of Cascais about a 5-10 minute walk (downhill) to the town centre. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean and well laid out and has everything you would need including high speed wi-fi.
Cascais is a great place to go on holidays with loads to do and see. The great thing about it is that while it is a holiday resort it is not overun with tourists. There are loads of shops, bars, resaturants and coffee shops. Eating out is so cheap and the food quality is top class. There is an excellent train service to Lisbon which goes quite frequently and costs less than 2 Euros.
We stayed around Cascais during our visit and really enjoyed the seaside walks and the bars and cafe's located along the beach.
I would like to conclude by paying a special tribute to Fernando and Maria Jose who own the property. They could not have been more helpful. They recommended a taxi service to pick us up from the airport that brought us straight to the apartment, they met us at the apartment and explained how everything worked and were there to answer any query we had or make recommendations about where to go and what to do. I rent properties on a regular basis and this is the best service I ever got from an owner!
I would highly recommend this property. While there were only 3 of us it can hold up to 7 comfortably. It is located a nice distance away from the centre of the town which means there is little noise and you can sleep in comfort at night. I would love to be going back there again in the morning. If you get a chance to stay here - don't hesitate grab the opportunity. You won't regret it!

When we arrived we received a very warm welcome. The apartment was more special than we had anticipated! Every room was immaculate and very well furnished. They had equipped the apartment very well. There was no problem with parking as the underground parking was spacious and cool.
We enjoyed walking into Cascais, particularly in the evening. Guincho beach was spectacular, especially if you are into surfing or kite surfing. The Sintra national park is right on your doorstep ( if you are driving) and is a beautiful place whatever the weather.
We recommend this apartment and it's hosts very highly. We had a great time here.
