The location of this apartment in Menaggio could not be better. The Ferry dock, grocery store and the main square all just steps away. The views from the balcony are incredible. The hosts were very helpful, responsive and caring. They have set up a Home away from Home for guests and it is clear they wish to offer a great experience. They have succeeded! We loved this apartment! Susy and Deborah were so responsive and helpful. Susy met us at the ferry station (in the rain!) to walk us to the apartment and give us an overview of everything. This was very helpful. She was so sweet, and we even met her for coffee one morning in town! She was available by phone if we ever had questions. The apartment was perfectly clean and could not have been a better location, especially since we had large/heavy luggage. It is only a minute walk from the ferry, and so convenient. Thank you for a great stay!!

Great location! Wonderful balcony overlooking the lake and the ferry boat terminal. Got to see the all the action coming and going. Very fun! Grocery store a few steps away; Grand Hotel Menaggio on same premises. We were pleasantly surprised that it was even better than pictured! Three of us sisters enjoyed the light, modern apartment. Deborah and Suzy great to deal with! A find!

What an amazing find this was for us; perfect location on the lake, quiet (very close to everything but far enough removed not to hear it), clean, cozy, amazing views and everything you would need! We stayed just under a week here and, without hesitation, would return!

This place was heaven! It was in a perfect location to downtown and the ferry. It was clean beautiful all the amenities you need in a very large apartment. The views are just spectacular all day long. Highly recommend

This appt is just perfect! Open up those shutters in the morning to the most beautiful view of Lake Como! A short 7 minute walk takes you to the centre square in Menaggio! It has a beautiful view of the lake a some great spots to eat! If you want to stick your fridge be sure to do before 12 because everything closes until 3:00pm for a break! The ferry is right outside our door so there are plenty of day trips to choose from! Many thanks to Deborah and Suzy for our wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time! The apartment is the perfect base to enjoy everything the lake has to offer. The apartment is very well equipped, nicely decorated, and the views are breathtaking. Susy was an amazing host, the hand-over was lovely and we were given some great information for our stay. Perfect and highly recommended - thanks for a memorable holiday.

The apartment is perfectly located - very close to the ferry dock without being beside it, very close to the main square without being in it. So, convenient but not inundated with tourists and traffic. And it’s directly on the lake! No busy road in front of your views. It’s in a very well maintained building. The apartment itself is well appointed and well equipped. The owner and representatives were helpful, efficient, friendly and timely. The Wi-Fi was a bit twitchy sometimes but nothing unmanageable. We loved our stay here and would recommend it highly to friends and family, and if we went back to Lake Como we’d rebook it for sure.

Really enjoyed our week in Mennagio, the apartment was exactly as described with the most beautiful view over Lake Como. Suzie was a fantastic host and we would not hesitate to recommend and will be back!

L’appartement est très bien placé, au calme avec une vue formidable. Très bien equipé: rien ne manque. Je conseille de prendre le garage car la circulation est dense à Menaggio. Le mieux est de ne pas toucher la voiture et tout faire en bateau! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Je conseille cet appartement sans la moindre réserve. Suzy qui est la mère de Déborah et qui nous accueille est absolument charmante et très sympathique. L'intérieur est fonctionnel, confortable et décoré avec goût. Tout fonctionne, de la salle de bain récente à la cuisine moderne. La literie est récente et les huisseries de qualité. L'emplacement dans Menaggio est idéal : à deux pas du débarcadère des bateaux, d'une épicerie et des restos du centre. Tout se fait à pince et on peut louer un box en sus sous l'immeuble. Dernier point remarquable pour les nageurs.euses, le petit jardin à l'aplomb du balcon (d'où la vue est superbe...), donne sur un ponton qui s'avance sur les eaux du lac... un délice...

This was hands down one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. The flat is sizeable, well stocked and in an incredible location in Menaggio (2 mins from the ferry and a 5 min walk to the square). We loved sitting on the balcony each morning and night with a coffee or glass of wine and gazing at the lake. We were traveling with our 7 month old daughter and our wonderful hosts provided a travel cot and high chair for her. Communication before and during our trip was amazing, and we appreciated that Deborah's mother Susy came to meet us to show us where to park and give us a run down of the flat. We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to friends and family!

Lovely apartment right on the lake, small but not uncomfortably so, we were 4 and it had plenty of space. The living room has double doors that open right up to a little balcony with the most stunning views. There's a double room and a twin room, with a modern, well equiped kitchen and a light, bright bathroom with a great shower along with an additional toilet in the laundry room - useful when there's 4 of you. Lots of comfortable seating - we all loved the pink chair - and (sad but true) we even got English coverage on the television for the World Cup and Wimbledon! But most of our time was, of course, spent outside enjoying Lake Como. There's a small supermarket just 2 mins walk away for basics, Prosecco and Pringles!! The town center is just a 5 minute walk in one direction and from there you can amble up the hill and explore the tiny streets and amazing views. In the square are several options for food, wine and ice cream. One of our favorites was coffee with the most amazing pastries and macarons at Pasticceria Cassera Moretti, on a little street off the top right corner of the square. There is a fun wine bar on the street straight up the hill from the square, great for people watching. The ferry departure point is just 2 minutes walk from the apartment in the other direction and from there you can pretty much go anywhere on the lake and mooch around the wonderful small town, all of which have incredible views. Varenna and Bellagio are the two closest options. A private water taxi trip is another option for a more flexible, personalised view of the lake - well worth the money - where you get some close up views of the amazing villas on the waterside. We could not have enjoyed our visit any more, it was wonderful. The forecast thunderstoms didn't happen and we enjoyed sunshine and hot temperatures for our whole trip. The property owner was lovely and we look forward to returning... Grazie Susy!

We couldn't be more pleased with everything we experienced in this lovely apartment, located in Menaggio, Lake Como. Perfect amount of space for 4 adults, wonderfully decorated and equipped in a location that's just walking distance to the town square, ferry and much more. Magical memories will last forever. And, Deborah and Suzy made the warm welcome even more remarkable and helpful. Highly recommend!

Lovely apartment with stunning views. Situated in a great location; minute from the ferry for exploring lake Como and only a few minutes into the town square for restaurants. We travelled with a 7 month old baby and found the apartment really baby friendly, the owner provided the nicest travel cot I’ve ever seen and a high chair. The view from the balcony is so nice we didn’t even go out in the evening just sat on the balcony overlooking the lake. Would highly recommend.

We, 2 70ish couples, used this as a base for a week of exploring the towns on the lake. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could need. Suzy met us upon arrival and showed us around then was available if we needed anything, we didn’t.There is a grocery store very close.

Deborah's apartment is beautiful, perfectly located, with a stunning view of Lake Como. The kitchen is well equipped and although we never cooked dinners , we made breakfast and coffee every morning and sat out on the balcony. It was so relaxing and romantic! The apartment is just like in the pictures with modern, comfortable furnishings that feel like a home more than a rental. In addition, Susy met us at the ferry and walked us to the apartment and gave us the tour. Deborah helped us with nearby restaurants and the market is right next door. We had such a lovely time we'll definitely come back to Menaggio and hope to stay here again!

We loved the 2 bedroom apartment in Menaggio, Italy. The apartment is conveniently located to restaurants, the ferry and a grocery store. Everything we needed to make our vacation enjoyable. We used the ferry system to visit Veranno, and Bellagio.

A great property in a superb location

It is difficult to find anything to add of value which hasn't been already been said by previous reviewers! I would just like to endorse the great reviews this property has already received and to say you cannot really appreciate how great the location/views are until you have been here. It was hard to drag ourselves away from the balcony, where we enjoyed watching the changing light at different times of the day. The property is very clean and well maintained and the photos give an accurate representation. As has previously been said, Deborah handles the online booking/correspondence very efficiently and her mother Susy is absolutely charming, very welcoming and helpful. We had some travel issues both in arrival (5 hours flight delay) and in departing and Susy was really kind and supportive. The apartment suited us perfectly, situated between the main part of the village and the ferry terminal. There is a great little supermarket 2 minutes walk away and we also enjoyed exploring what is on offer in local speciality food shops to sample their delights as well as the variety of restaurants close by. There are plenty of lovely places to visit locally, but as said by other reviewers too, we were glad to come 'home' to Menaggio.

We spent a wonderful short break in Menaggio, the contact with Deborah before we came was brilliant, even down to providing trains and boat times so our transfers went smoothly. Susy met us from the ferry and was genuinely warm and friendly. The apartment is like a home from home, very well equipped, very clean and well looked after. The view and location are brilliant. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment. Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday.

The appartment is beautiful, modern, clean with stunning views over the lake. You can walk to restaurants shops and the ferry stop is next door. We felt so at home and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We have now had the pleasure of staying in this unit three times; September 2015, March 2016 and April 2016. If we could move in permanently, we would. The unit itself is wonderful and offers all the comforts you could possibly want. But the view, location, sound of the water lapping when you open the French doors to the balcony and Deborah and Susy really set it apart and make it extra special. Our son was 5 months old at our first visit and Deborah and Susy kindly arranged for a baby cot to be set up for him (the mattress of which is fantastic!). As he grew, they added a highchair too and Susy even gave him a little bear to remember Como by. The unit is impeccably clean, reachable by elevator (which makes it easy with a stroller), quiet, very quick walk to center (all by sidewalk) and to the ferry, no car needed, but underground parking is available in the building, wifi is fast – it's really hard to come up with something to fault! On our last visit, my parents joined us as well and it was still very roomy with 4 adults and a 1 year old. Menaggio itself is our favorite among the towns on the lake and is a perfect base. Highly recommend.

Couldn't have been better. After visiting other villages on the central lake, we were delighted to have selected Menaggio and this apartment. We look forward to a return visit.

The last day of our holiday and we can hardly bear to leave this lovely apartment. It took us 3 years to reach Lake Comos, after cancelling 2 other holidays due to my husbands health issues. But we made it and we have loved everything. Menaggio suited our families' requirements perfectly, we have seen the other resorts around the lake but would not have preferred them. We enjoyed the family feel here, mixing with locals and holidaymakers alike. The views from the apartment have taken our breaths away. The accommodation itself was spacious and extremely comfortable. I love interior design and I appreciate the high standards this apartment offers. It may well have been the last holiday we will spend with our daughters aged 18 and 21 for a while, but this place has given us some really special memories. Thanks Susy, we loved meeting you and you could not have done more for us. As I said, we don't want to leave, but we will definitely return. Thanks For a lovely holiday !!! xxxx

This is a beautiful apartment which is exactly as it appears in promo. The location was perfect - right beside the ferry terminal and a very short walk to the main piazza. Susie and Deborah were wonderful to deal with and gave us all of the information we needed to have a great week. It was spotlessly clean and their recommendations for restaurants sights were spot on.
