We all had a super time, great weather, wonderful sea views and no cars needed! In places we felt the house was looking a little tired, but also much loved, this did not spoil our enjoyment, thank you.

A spacious well-equipped property close to some of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall. There is a good mix of double and twin-bedded rooms, sleeping up to 12 people. The backyard and small front garden are both dog and child proof. There is a range of activities locally for adults, children and dogs.

My family and I recently stayed at the Beach house near Crooklets beach. The house was well equipped and with 11 people and two dogs staying was not too overcrowded. All in all a lovely holiday was had by all.

I booked a weekend away for 10 of our family and it's always quite difficult to find the right sort of property. Luckily for me I found The Beach House and we had a fantastic weekend. Precious family time away together, a great location and long walks on the beach. Jo was so helpful with all of my endless questions and requests, nothing was too much trouble. Thanks!

The owner from start to finish was accommodating and easy to get hold of. The location of the property is fantastic; others have commented on the buildings in front of the house however we didn’t feel these distracted from the ever changing beautiful view we woke up to each morning. The house is so well equipped you couldn’t ask for more; beds extremely comfortable and overall stay was fantastic. If we are ever this way we again we will definitely return.

Having travelled extensively we spent this summer visiting Bude and were lucky enough to book the Beach House. This home has it all (location, views, neighbourhood & comfort) and we very much hope to stay again.

We were looking for a last minute booking as our cruise was cancelled. We found this lovely house in Bude which is where we have never been before. Everything was easy and straightforward to book. We had a great time and the area was lovely with plenty to do. We were also lucky with the weather. We loved the house and would definitely come back.

We loved staying at the Beach House. Clear directions and helpful communication throughout our stay. Problems were few and were dealt with promptly. Spotlessly clean property. Rooms were of a good size and furnishings were of a good quality. We were a party of 2 adults, 6 children and 2 dogs and it was just the right size. I would expect that it would be somewhat crowded in the downstairs areas if you were to have many more than that, especially in the sitting room. The bathrooms are only 1 en-suite and 1 family bathroom which did cause somewhat of a backlog with the amount of teenage girls all wanting post-beach showers. The beds were comfortable and the location was lovely and peaceful at night. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was great - a very short stroll to a lovely beach - perfect for body-boarding/surfing. We were made to feel welcome by the town. The cafes opposite were extremely handy for lunches on the beach and we had some good food there. Our vegan member was thrilled by so many options for her! Negatives are few. 1. The view is somewhat marred by the rather ugly surf life-saving club building and the cafes aren't the prettiest either. Still it was very nice sitting outside the front on the table (only seats 8 max).2. The road directly outside the property is in a terrible state of repair. The side wall of our Sharan tyre was damaged by the large gullys. It looks like winter weather has left it's mark on the steep hill and driving on a low-slung car would be ill-advised. A gentleman on a mobility scooter tried to come down the hill and very nearly came off in front of us. Luckily he could still walk but he couldn't make it down the hill on the scooter.

We were a group of 7 adults, 4 children and 3 dogs who stayed at the Beach House for New Year and had a fantastic time! The house is in a great location, overlooking the sea and two minutes from a lovely beach. The house is really well equipped and had everything we needed for our NYE dinner. The house was warm and having the log fire was a lovely bonus. All in all a great few days!

Chose to stay here for my birthday weekend, the house is in a lovely position and very easy access to the beach. Very close to Sainsbury's which came in very handy! The house was nice and clean and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen came well stocked and we had everything we needed. Love the table tennis in the games room and the weather was even nice enough for us to use the seating outside at the front of the house. The only thing I would say was that the living room was a bit small as there was quite a few of us we ran out of seating but other than this 10/10 would recommend this house!

Stayed for 2 nights to celebrate an eightieth birthday. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Family of all ages and both dogs. Great place, great location in beautiful Bude. Fantastic.

This is our second visit to this property and yet again it did not disappoint,what a fantastic house. The weather wasn't great but it did not stop us going to the beach or going on walks. The house has every thing you could need, had a brilliant time, would recommend it to anyone

House is in such a great location. Jo the owner was really accommodating to our needs. Easy walking distance to the beach.

Nine of us, accompanied by 2 Cocker Spaniels, descended upon Beach House for 8 days. I am pleased to say that we had a marvellous time, the house providing a welcoming, warm, comfortable, spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean setting for our traditional Christmas family reunion in Cornwall. Our worries prior to arrival were that: the house would not be warm enough as it contained only night storage heaters, portable heaters, and the living room wood burner; the stairs would be difficult to climb for the 3 members of our party aged between 83 and 92; the house lacked an internal downstairs WC; the oven(s) would be too small for the turkey, and there would be insufficient equipment in the kitchen; the Wi-Fi signal would be too weak. I am delighted to report that all of these worries were unnecessary: we were not cold – very quickly after our arrival, the house warmed up, stayed warm, and we were very cosy; our elderly family members, 2 of whom walk only with sticks, had no difficulty climbing the stairs, as the treads were wide, and the bannister was firm; at times the house was so warm that it was actually very refreshing to use the courtyard WC; both ovens were extremely efficient, the main oven was very large, the kitchen had everything that you could wish for, and the walk-in larder was an absolute boon; the medium-sized local Sainsbury’s store was a 10-minute walk away, and large supermarkets – Waitrose, Tesco, Marks & Spencer – were short drives away; the Wi-Fi signal strength was good throughout the house. The layout of the house was perfect for a large family Christmas, and the house was attractively decorated, including with a Christmas tree and tasteful decorations.  There were also some beautiful original artworks and old local photographs on the walls. The view from the living room of the beach and the waves was stunning. Oh, and with regard to our 4 cars – there was ample parking in front of the house, and Jo gave us 2 permits for the car park - a 2 minute walk from the house. Jo, herself, was a perfect owner – unobtrusive, but coming to check the day after we arrived that all was well with our accommodation. Finally, we loved Bude, and its range local shops. In summary, Beach House was a wonderful place to stay for Christmas, and we would be delighted to stay there again!

Very comfortable and well-equipped, even during Storm "Brian" with spectacular seas and gale force winds in late October. Jo, the owner, is very helpful too.

Great location overlooking the sea. Enough space for a large group and the front outdoor seating area was perfect for evening meals in the sun. Brilliant access to beach and town centre. Great for children and anyone who appreciates beautiful, scenic walks. Bedrooms were a good size some having lovely views of the sea. Well equipped kitchen which we used a great deal with everything you could need and more. As we had 3 cars, the permit for Rosie's car park opposite the house was great. The children and adults, enjoyed playing table tennis, surfing and swimming in the sea pool. Bude is a perfect place for a family holiday with lots to see and do. The house would have earned 5 stars if there was another shower. Would definitely recommend the house to family and friends and we felt it was good value for the money paid.

Our family of 9 adults had a wonderful post-Easter break at Beach House. The house was large and spacious, the beds were comfy, the views to the beach were good and there was everything in the house we needed for a relaxing and perfect stay. We loved driving to various spots round the North Cornwall coastline - Port Isaac, Clovelly, Docton Mill Gardens, Tintagel, and had some wonderful walks in these areas. The weather was amazing, and we enjoyed some swimming and surfing too, and a BBQ in the garden! Jo was really helpful in organising our stay across some unconventional dates, and did some shopping for us pre-arrival, although there's a Sainsbury's right up the road within walking distance. The situation of the house so close to the beach gave the place a wonderful serenity and peace, and all our family loved the place. It truly felt like home very quickly, and we can't rate it highly enough. If I had one word of caution, it would be its rating as suitable for the elderly, as there are lots of stairs, only one room with en-suite facilities and in a large group of people no separate room if they wanted or needed some privacy downstairs. But as my elderly mother couldn't travel at the last minute that turned out not to be a problem for us. Otherwise - Thank you so much for a perfect holiday!!

What can I say? This house is beautiful and very well thought out. For 7 adults and a toddler (would have had space for more children) it worked so well. We all had our own bathrooms, the beds were comfy. The Kitchen is a dream to use (my husband is cursing you as he now has an extension to build so I can have one just like it!) The welcome package of tea, coffee and biscuits is most appreciated. It is a short walk from the beach which was great for the dogs in the morning. The beach looks rocky at high tide but is beautifully sandy once it goes out. Bude is a 10-20 minute walk away depending on your mobility, Sainsburys 2 minutes away for supplies. Restaurants to note were La Bocca and Life's a beach and the Cafe on crooklets was lovely and dog friendly. The icecream shop in Bude was amazing and it was fairly central to alot of things we wanted to do. All in all the house works well for a large family and the location is perfect for a seaside holiday. We will be back!

House is very well equipped and there was enough space for all of us (we had 8 - 80 age group). It's brilliantly situated and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Beach house is an amazing property in a fantastic location. It is a short walk from Crooklets beach, Summerleeze beach and the main town centre.The house is BIG and a great communal space for family and friends to enjoy. There is outside space to front and back to sit, enjoy and store all your wet kit. The ping-pong table is a great addition. This has to have been the best holiday ever. The whole family enjoyed staying at the house, it is huge but still very comfortable. It has everything you could want from a holiday house, we are already thinking of booking again next year and making it an annual family holiday.There is plenty to do and you do not have to drive any where to do it. FANTASTIC

The Beach House fulfilled our expectations - very clean, comfortable & well equipped, perfect for our family of 9 with room to spare. Jo was friendly & efficient. We hope we may be able to stay there again, we loved our holiday.

My family all stayed here to attend a wedding and took the house for a week. The location was absolutely perfect for everyone, the beach and nearby park and cafes were fab for the kids and there were lovely restaurants just around the corner. The house itself was beautiful, immaculately clean and had so much space for all whilst managing to still feel lovely and homely. My whole family was so impressed with the property and the ease in which we were able to arrange the booking. We cannot recommend the property, or Jo highly enough. It was perfect!
