All the facilities listed are basically at Base Camp and this apartment is quite a bit further up the hill, so skipasses, ski hire, restaurants, mini market etc are NOT on site. The ski lift is much further than the 150yards initially stated (I see the owner has amended slightly). Just check the location of La Grand'Ourse on the map and see how far it is from Base Camp (it didn't plot correctly on the Booking.com site so beware). The owner kept insisting it was "ski-to-door" - you may be able to reach the apartment by skiing totally off piste, and through some trees on a steep slope, but this is not easy (or safe) and you are likely to be uninsured and therefore in breach of local policy. The piste ends at base camp where you would be totally able to "ski-to-door" but this is not where the apartment is. There is also no spa/fitness suite etc - the book in the apartment lists some but they are nowhere near, and largely outside the resort. The owner says the site does not say it has a spa etc but it was clearly listed under "facilities".
The apartment itself has a bunk room and then the bedroom is part of the living room but separated by sliding doors. These have a weight next to them as they automatically close without this door stop. When they are closed, there is no room to get out of bed on one side to exit the bedroom without climbing over the other person in the bed.
It was relatively clean but there were lolly sticks and sweet wrappers left on shelves that when I informed the owner he told me to contact cleaning services. To phone them would have cost me a load of money and it was no big issue to me, but I thought he should know as he pays them and their service is reasonable.
The bus up to the apartment is not free or regular. Without a car this is not a great location to stay.
My biggest issue was the incorrect details on the Booking.com website but neither the owner or Booking.

A very unpleasant experience. The promised 2-BEDroom apartment unfortunately turned out to be a 1-room apartment with a wardrobe separating the rooms and there was not any privacy.
One of the bedrooms was separated from the living room by a sliding door which was broken and unfortunately could not be used.
The other bedroom was very small with a bunkbed and unfortunately could not fit two people at a time unless they were lying on the bed.
The apartment is outdated, broken cupboard doors, very badly cleaned, dirty dishes, broken appliances in the kitchen. Missing dishes in the kitchen. WIFI did not work, promoted Netflix channels that the owner shared for viewing could not be used, also did not work.
The first lift to the hotel promised by Booking.com was unfortunately not true. The distance of 180 m which was written down at Booking.com was wrong information, reality is about 500m (now it is written down 250 m).
The location of the hotel was wrongly marked, information was sent by the owner - 45°55'49.1 "N 7°38'10.9 “E was another hotel.
When contacting the owner and sharing feedback and asking for a solution to the problems, the owner was ignored and there was no possibility to exchange for a new and better apartment.
Booking.com refuses to accept responsibility for providing false information and refuses to refund the booking fee.
From the hotel to the town (Breuil-Cervinia) - Booking.com says 850m reality 1,7 km.
Ski-to-door access is also false information, there is one way to get to first lift or back to hotel and it is through the forest or off road.

probably the best views I have had in a stay in cervinia, the apartment has all you need, wether self catering or not.
Cervinia is only a 5 minute drive, owners, staff and occupants were all lovely.
Owner was amazingly helpful. would stay again!
not a negative as I had a car, but I would recommend a car.

We stayed in July and picked the place for the view to mountains. It was really nice, not that many people in the building, and I saw Matterhorn just from the balcony - about 45 mins / day, when it was not in clouds :)
Keep in mind it's quite small place, while just the right side for a family with 2 kids.
We had towels and bed sheets - this was just great, other places ask 15eur per person - okay for a week to ski, too much for two nights.
Special Thank you! to the host for a detailed guide how to get in and how to use the place :)
We had to boil kettle twice every day, pouring the water out, to get rid of the smell of plastic, was okay afterwards.
Also we did not use dish washer - it's an old one and I was too lazy to google how to use it :) We did not have too many dishes, that was okay.

Monolocale Cielo Alto is hard to find because their is nothing on the building that says the name. GPS direction does not take you to the door step and there are several apartments in the area. I had to ask several people for assistance to locate apartment.

The carpet on Hallway is outdated.

A very long way from centre and infrequent bus
Unhelpful landlord we arrived expecting 3 lots of bedding - there was only bedding for 2 beds and he responded that it wasnt a hotel . Told to hire bedding the next day on repeating request - ended up buying it as couldnt find hire place . Proprietor at the flats dont cover his . Couldnt find a gym
The bedrooms are just a screen separating them not wall up to ceiling . Small cramped lighting poor at night. Beds too hard . Bunks narrow and top one cracked and cramped as per a previous review . Very little in kitchen and microwave not good and smelled weird on using
Very disappointing worse place ever stayed with booking.com

Excellent place for skiing. Only clear explanation should be given how to ski to the appartment from Cielo Alto ski piste. Appartment has everything for normal guests!
