You know the place is extraordinary, with the gardens worth the visit alone. The Art Deco house is also lovely, and the location is fabulous - walking distance to the lake, the rose gardens, the gallery, and the shops. For accommodating lots of people who had travelled interstate or from overseas to attend my mothers 100th birthday celebration, it was ideal, with chairs scattered around the charming gardens and airy rooms for people to sit and talk.

Exactly where we wanted to be. 3 families came together + more for an 80th birthday who came from overseas, we hadn't seen each other for far too long.

Loved every minute of sharing this gorgeous home with families we don't see enough of. Family from wodonga joined us on the evening of 9/9 for the 80th celebration 🍾

The garden was advertised as being a very good one, but it could do with some tender loving care.

Everything was perfect. When seven adults as a family are travelling together, you need space - and there was plenty. We also had multiple areas to sit and connect with views to the expansive and impressive garden. Little touches such as art pieces which were interesting but blended into the whole, night lights in the hall for those night time bathroom runs - bikkies and treats. All the family were instantly in love with the place. Made the whole Benalla experience all the better. And location? PERFECT....walking distance to the main street and just down the road from the information centre. Love this place, and expect to return.

I can't find anything that I didn't like about this experience. Hats off to our hosts.

Loved the location and the gardens were simply beautiful. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. The Tim Tams and Wine were well received and a lovely touch.

The gardens were exceptional and a highlight. The house is very spacious and there is plenty of room for everyone. The supermarkets are close by so buying a few provisions is easy and preparation is a breeze in this very well equipped kitchen. Great communication and check in very easy. A wonderful long weekend spent with family.
