We are musicians that performed at the Agnes Blues and Roots Festival. Previously we have camped but having a place to go to that was very comfortable, kept our instruments safe and had a lot of room for 5 people. The backyard is beautiful and large, the ability to cook food in the kitchen was great and the option to have fans or aircon was a plus.

It’s in the bush, and nice host to work with

State lite tv not payed for, it’s was three rainy days so it was needed

Plenty of space, quiet and close to where we were doing daily activities.

Luckily there's WiFi as there's no signal outside the house and its surroundings. Only SOS signal available on the phone.

1. Upon entering, house smelled musky and old. There was a live coakroach and spider. 2. Furnitures are old and have 'sour' smell. 3. Dust on furnitures, skirtings, plastic flower decorations, and books/toys. 4. Dust on coffee/tea basket items. 5. Carpets smell and had dead small cockroach. 6. Insect-screen door is ineffective due to large gaps. 7. Every evening, up to a dozen cane toads would be in the undercover porch and in front of main door. Had to chase them away before making our entry into house. 8. Lizards were found under dish rack and on one of the single beds. 9. Bathroom smells. 10. More dust on towel racks. 11. Shower tiles and curtain are dirty. 12. Towels doesn't smell fresh. 13 Lightings with 3 bulbs - only 1 or 2 bulbs working on each of them. 14. Plastic tablecloth on dining table is very old that it discoloured when wiped with wet wipes. 15. The house is a 6-bedder but dining table has only 4 chairs. 16. Aircon only in living room. Fans in bedrooms. 17. Feedback to owner and spoke briefly on phone about the some of the points above. Owner claimed house built along time ago, hence, the old smell probably came from the structure. Also added that the house had new coat of paint and cleaner had done a standard cleaning as before. Nothing was done about the issues mentioned. Booked this property at last minute due to joining other families on road trip. There were not much choice left at that time. Decided to opt for this property which cost considerably more than the other property due to its very high ratings on its cleanliness from previous guests.
