In this apartment you feel as it is your home! The host was thinking for everything. The situation in Ortigia is great, Mr Roberto gave us all the information that we needed during our stay. For sure we will come back!

Everything was perfect.

Roberto is a very generous, caring host and will do everything to ensure you enjoy your visit. The amazing accommodation is very large and has everything you need - extra supplies of necessary items, washing machine/dryer, even items for the beach. The apartment is very large and has a great location- walking distance to train, restaurants and tourist sites. The apartment is clean and relaxing. I highly recommend this accommodation

We liked how easy it was to find things in the apartment, it was well thought out. The refrigerator was stacked with plenty of beverages and in general there was an abundance of every little thing you may need.

The pressure in the shower was somewhat low.

Easily the best place/host we stayed with in Sicily and maybe the best private room/host we've ever booked anywhere. Roberto exceeded all our expectations in his responsiveness and helpfulness as well as being a friendly and kind person. The room is in a great location- within Ortigia on a quiet lane, just a few steps or a few minutes walk from everything. The apartment has everything we needed. We simply can't say enough good things about Casa Gargallo. We will stay here again!

As others mention, you need to use street parking if you can figure it out or use the Talete public parking lot but it's not problem since Roberto came and met us within 5-10 minutes even though we hadn't told him what time we were arriving! 15euro/day for the public parking.

Central location but very quiet little street. Excellent apartment, fully equipped with absolutely everything you could ask for a great stay. Great hosts!! Will definitely come back again in the future!!

This property made us feel like we were at home. It was very clean with easy access to the main sights in Ortigia. The host was very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure that we not only enjoyed our stay but that we did not miss our morning flight.

Cannot fault anything

The location is perfect, everything is close by and maximum 10min walk. The host has been incredibly accommodating and extremely helpful with anything we needed.

We count ourselves very fortunate to have stayed at Casa Gargallo in Ortigia during our recent holiday in Sicily. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable and very well set up for two people. There are lots of extra touches, including a welcome tray of goodies on arrival. Breakfast items are also provided. There is plenty of storage space in the bedroom and the comfortable bed ensured a good a night’s sleep. The apartment itself is old and you can feel it throughout through it’s careful and tasteful presentation. It is in a relatively quiet area of Ortigia, but still within easy walking distance of everything in this stunning, historic and atmospheric small island. A good small supermarket, cafes and restaurants are all within 5 minutes walk. The owners Roberto and Carmel are rightfully very proud of Casa Gargallo and we found them to be very generous and hospitable, so ensuring our stay was a memorable experience.
