The apartment is really cute and the location is good to visit Ortigia (15 minutes walk). We stayed one night and we didn’t cook but it seemed very well equipped. Free street parking available. The host is very friendly and responsive.

We had some issue with the self check-in but the host was very responsive and eventually we figured things out quickly. Too bad that we stayed only one night!

First impression was good. Place look like on pictures.

It was all bit like "escape room" game. First information was to leave 20 euro as city tax. There should be someone to welcome you. But we had just onlne chat :( We got information where the key is, but we did not get code for keybox. we had to ask, We got in. Wifi did not work . .we had to ask where is it and how to start it. (very good hidden tiny box on back side of TV, and we had to start it every time we came from outside ((.. Kitchen look good, but equipment was missing. or was in very bad conditions. If you expect to cook here .. then its very limited. We asked for kitchen towels, something to clean dishes, for wooden spoon (came answer that is not there because that is not hygienic.) We stayed 5 nights and if you want new sets of towels it was extra fee for it. Only window in room is to indoor staircase. There should be privat beach.. we did not get any information and we were not going ask again. I was so dissaponted to get on holiday and first couple hours just manage the accomodatioin to use :( The comunication had quick respond, but it was not solving problems and we felt like bodering him/her (we dont know) each time we had to ask for any information. Prefer personal contact in this case.

Perfect communication with owner. Great location, everything is close, the city centrum, shops, old town Ortigia. Apartment was clean.

We spent there a few days in January and Italians usually do not have a heater. You can use ac as a hot air, but it is situated very close to ceiling and it do not heat up the room enough.

Apartment was nice and private. We were always able to find a place to park.

No where to walk. Would have liked a frying pan.

Easy check-in. Parking was possible right in front of the apartment. Very close to the city centre (walking distance). Nice room, ideal for a shorter stay.

The room is on a ground floor with only one small window so there's not much light but there is plenty of lights in the apartment so not an issue. Kitchen could be slightly better equipped (e.g. there's no tea pot to boil water). Separate blankets could be provided instead of just one for a double bed.

The communication with the host was very fast and efficient. We had no issues collecting the keys for the apartment. The apartment is new and fully furbished with everything you might need for a short stay. It is also in the newer part of Syracuse but it is only 15min away from the Island of Ortygia. There are many available parking spots in front of the house or the streets next to it.

The street is front of the apartment is very noisy and there is lots of traffic throughout the night. The property should specify that the parking option is just the street, not a designated spot from the property. There was a ball of hair in the shower drain when we arrived.

It was really simple way to check in and check out without meeting the owner. Every instruction we had on my WhatsApp. The apartament was really big, beautiful and clean.

If You plan to stay there longer You should to know, that it is not washing machine and microvave there. Contact with owner could be a Little better. We asked about storing our baggage somewhere in the city after check out, because our train was around 16.00, but our question was ignored . We found it finally on our own hand. The apartament is a little dark, because here is only one small window and it is open into the building, not outside. The pressure of the water into the shower is low.

- great location, close to Ortigia - easy access, fast replies from the owner (via WhatsApp) - the apartament is spacious and cosy, you can spend time in the kitchen / living room when your spouse is asleep - plenty of lights everywhere - by the bed, on the desk, on the cabinet, even the ceiling ones had couple of various settings! - the whole place was really clean - the fridge is big and has a freezer

There were just two slight minuses, even though we loved the place! - there are no windows - we didn't mind but it might be a problem for someone - the breakfast offered did not look anything like on the photos (two yoghurts, muesli and a small pack of rusks + some beverages)

The appartment was spatious, clean and comfy. Just 15 min to Ortigia.

It is a basement and there is no natural light.

There was a light smell of mold when we arrived, but nothing terrible.

The place is newly renovated with a nice bathroom and kitchen. It is very well located - walking distance 15 min to Ortigia and 20 min to Parco Archeologico della Neapolis. Great value for money. Free parking outside on the street. Quite place in an old building. Recommended. The host was helpful and caring.

There was a construction going on next door but the noise stopped for bedtime. The apartment lacks natural light and as there is no window to be opened for fresh air, it can feel a bit stale. Not a big issue, though.
