It was a great location, 5 minutes away from my sister house whom I was visiting. Pleasantly surprised as I had read previous reviews and was dreading it. They had fixed most of the issues raised by previous guest. But curtains up, better lights in the bedroom a new couch,but would agree it’s not luxurious. For the price and location you can’t go wrong. It gave my husband, brother, 2 toddlers and I a great stay. I messaged the owner and told me parking was available and how to get keys and when the flat was ready to check in.

The starter button on the cooker wasn’t working so I had to buy matches to cook food. The fire alarm in the living room kept going off on the last day which meant we all didn’t get a good night sleep, which we needed with 2 active toddlers.

The location

Wasn't as advertised broken furniture and needed a coat of paint. The pin provided in the booking didnt qork and we had to ring the vendor who never answered. Only when i got in chat and threatened to report them they then gave the correct pin in chat. There was also another couple in another apartment with the same problem and the same vendor. Terrible experience.

there wasn’t a comfortable seating area for everyone to sit together in the evenings. Other than that it was suitable for our needs.

Toaster broken and Stove top ignition broken. Pots & pans filthy. No curtains in bedroom’s to block light and for privacy. Shower scalding hot. Broken towel rail. The front grounds were littered with rubbish by other residents.

For what we wanted this property provided everything, parking , great location , clean and well equipped , it even had a washing machine.

Nothing really, the bathroom lighting was not very bright so had trouble when trying to put my contact lenses in. But that’s mean trying to find a negative

Very accurate property description close to the town centre, on a quiet, residential street that is also within walking distance of parks and a public swimming pool. No interactions required with the owner. Off street parking space available

There were 2 sleigh beds in the property. Given that there were 2 men in the party this meant the beds were not long enough to comfortably accommodate them. No oversheet was supplied for the couch which meant sleeping with a blanket directly over me which felt very unhygienic. The couch was quite short so my feet were dangling over the edge and as there was a very discernible hard rod down the middle it was difficult to get comfortable.

The street was quiet itself. There was off road parking. The flat had very high ceilings and it made the flat feel roomy. There was a local shop within 5 minutes walking distance. The WiFi code supplied did not work, but there was one on the box itself when we looked, so we had free WiFi. The flat was clean. It has the potential to be a lovely apartment, but it needs some things fixed and replanted.

The shower did not work - the door would not close, then the shower went to extremely hot and it could not be adjusted because the dial was not working. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable and not really big enough for three people which meant one of us had to sit on a stool. We had to move the furniture around to be able to see the TV. The curtains did not fit the windows and the blinds were broken, this meant that people who sat outside the front door smoking cannabis could watch us in the flat as they were about 2 foot away from us. We were all awake before 5 because of the daylight coming through the broken blinds, with no curtains in the bedroom to block out the light. There was a rather large low level glass table in the middle of the room, which one of my party kept bumping into when navigating around the living room. The living room and bathroom were both very dark as the lighting was not fully operational and probably not the most adequate for the height of the rooms. Then we had someone up the stairs, directly above the flat, playing loud exceptionally loud music until about midnight. One of the bedroom doors and the living room door did not stay shut. This meant no privacy in the one bedroom.

The property was in a good location and when we struggled to get in to the property, the owner called with the code.

We had a few issues, the shower didn’t drain quick enough which caused the tray to overflow. The taps on the shower were very stiff, so when adjusting the temp it was difficult and the water became very hot at times. We had to clean the iron before we used it as there was a brown stain on the plate. There was mould in the room my son stayed in, it was on the ceiling by the window, which I understand it happens, but this had been there a while as it was black. I would not regard this property as luxury!!

Spacious and reasonably comfortable & clean.

Shower waste was blocked, so water very slow to run away, also bathroom was very dark. Black mould on one of the bedroom ceilings. Couch not very comfortable. Coffee was provided, but no tea.

Ok for a one night stay with family. Kitchen area was good.

Had to chase for the key access. Should not be labelled as luxurious, decor needed updating (lightbulbs need changing, dents in walls, needed painting, mould on ceiling in main bedroom).

the property was in a good condition and landlord was very friendly. parking is brilliant.

it was very cold and heating was terrible radiator’s weren’t even warm tried adjusting thermostat and radiator’s but would not heat up. there was a hole on wall by window and a bit of mould above bed on ceiling.
