This house was amazing. Plenty of privacy with 7 bedrooms and bathrooms. Lots of shared areas for gathering. Lots to do with pool , lake with kayaks and games, and tv’s in every room even one outside by the pool

This beautiful home and grounds were perfect for my extended family.we loved the pool, the lake, the pontoon and everything! We ranged from 5 years up to 71 and we all loved it all. Clean with lots of room! We are planning a return trip already. Fantastic!

A wonderful property. The lake, the swimming pool, the firepit, the entertainment room, and the gazebo; all just wonderful. Our family stayed here for one week and time flew by so fast. We had myself and my husband, our 4 married children with their spouses, and 4 grandchildren, for a total of 14 people. There was room for everyone to spread out, and also equally room for all of us to gather together at the same time. The pictures on the VRBO listing do not give justice to just how big the house actually is. There are 3 refrigerators ( main house, main house laundry room, and apartment) that gave us ample space for everyone's food. There are 4 common areas with TVs for movie watching or to play your video games, plus 5 of the 7 bedrooms also have TVs. The internet is not the best, but this did not affect us as we spent most of our time outside. The house is older, but amazing. It has a lot of charm and history. The house had many items stocked that other VRBOs do not, such as: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, shampoo and conditioner, condiments, and seasonings and spices. There is an ice maker in the entertainment room, which was used a lot by us. There is one canoe and two kayaks, plus lots and lots of lake and pool toys. Steve is a great host; super fast in responding to our questions and also gave us suggestions on places to visit in the area. I highly recommend this VRBO to anyone for your next vacation get away.

Second stay. It was great

This is the 2nd time my wife and I, our 3 grown sons and their wives, 5 grandchildren, and our 2 sisters have stayed at this house. The house contains several sleeping areas and has a large indoor play room. The swimming pool was a big hit with the grandkids and I paid extra to heat the water due to the late-May visit. It is located close to the airport, which makes it convenient to shuttle out-of-town guests to and from the airport. The facilities are top-notch with great maintenance; everything worked properly and there wasn't any need to ask for help or to ask for a repair during our visit. All the toiletries were provided and there was no evidence of "cutting corners" on providing for the guests. Our property manager answered questions and responded to messages very quickly (within an hour) before, during, and after our stay. So I recommend this property to others and I would definitely consider coming back to this property if my sons want to meet in the Charlotte area again.

House has a fun layout for a large group, nice pool, and perfect location on the lake!

Our group ranged from early 70's to late 80's with some physical limitations. This facility worked perfectly for us in spite of many stairs because the owner has placed esxcellent hand rails wherever they are needed. We ALL recommend this facility for comfort and cleanliness. It was a pleasure to be together in such a convivial Lakefront Villa. Please note: the description provided on the website is exactly what you will experience.

Loved the propoerty and location to clebrate our Mom and Grandma's milestone birthday.

We came to charlotte for the Easter holiday and my grandmothers 83rd birthday, there was a total of 16 of us including 4 kids and this house was PERFECT for our large family. Plenty of space for every one to not feel on top of each other, lots for the kids to do. The pool was beautiful and the location was great. Close enough to get what u need with a 10 minute drive by quietly located outside the city.

This house is perfect for a large group. We had 6 couples and we each had our own room and plenty of privacy. The pool was amazing and we had so much fun on the pontoon boat! The house was very clean and the host was awesome! If you are looking for a place to stay near Charlotte, rent this house!

Property and all it’s amenities were great.

We had a group of 10 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to gather together or have privacy if needed. The house was well stocked with everything you could need for just a weekend or longer. The owners were responsive when we had questions. If we come back to Charlotte in the future we would stay here again.

My cousin and I turned 50 and wanted a nice place to go and stay with our family. We could not have chosen a better place. The boys loved being able to get up in the morning and fish off the dock, having the pontoon boat was amazing and allowed us to see the area better. Airport and downtown were super close which made it convenient. If you didn’t want to see anybody you didn’t have to because the house is that big. Our host, Steve was always quick to respond, so being a first time VRBO person, it was very helpful for me. I would highly recommend this property especially for a good sized group of people. Also because we came from far away in a couple of different directions steve was accommodating in that we could show up early (without getting in the way of the cleaning crew) and check out late.

Very nice property

We were looking for a vacation where we could take our large family of varying sizes. The house was wonderful and The host was very communicative. We had a family emergency and had to leave a day early unfortunately but still enjoyed a wonderful time. We had a rainy day and there was so much to do we didn't even skip a beat. My family enjoyed swimming in the pool, the lake and just hanging out on the multiple decks. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped! We were very happy we chose the house and would stay there again.

We had a fantastic week at this home. The house is really large and there was more than enough room for us to spread out and have some quiet time. The pool and boat were awesome! The outdoor TV by the pool and the fire pit were wonderful also. We also enjoyed playing cornhole. The kitchen was well stocked and we were very thankful for the supplied toilet paper and shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms. Plus the beds were very comfortable, which is always appreciated! The A/C works great too, which was much needed as it was in the mid to upper 90s all week. Couldn't have asked for a better trip! Everything was easy to find/use and we had zero issues. The property manager even took the garbage cans out to the road for us. That was a first for us (we've rented many vacation homes over the years and no other house does that). The owners thought of everything in this house. I will say though that the pool deck itself is so hot it burns your feet so be careful, but we just made sure to wear our shoes to the pool and we laid towels down around the sides of the pool stairs to get in and out of the pool. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The layout of the place allowed for family get togethers and moments alone. The pool was the perfect playground to tire the little ones out and the added bonus was the use of the boat. Any questions we had were answered immediately. We are all looking forward to coming back! Great spaces for a large family. The pontoon boat was a special treat.

This was our third family lake vacation and I have to say this was the best by far. The house was beautiful, clean and accommodated our four families perfectly with all the separate areas. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. There is a room full of pool and lake toys and floats. Between the lake and the pool, the Grandkids were worn out by the end of the day. We rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed seeing other areas of the lake. Steven was great to work with. We had a couple minor issues, and he was right there to fix them. We do a lake vacation with the family every other year. This vacation home will definitely be at the top of our list for 2025!

We had a family get together celebrating 2 sisters 50th and 60th birthdays. 13 family members stayed at the house and I cannot say how understated the description of this house is. It exceeded all expectations and then some. We have been in many homes with this number of family members and we were all impressed and talking about returning in the future. The house was clean and very well equipt. There were so many details that did not go unnoticed by all of us. The kitchen had more than enough dishes, pans, and utensils along with a laundry room full of extras for use. Too many things to mention. The property itself was beautiful and well manicured with gorgeous outdoor furniture and plenty of seating for all of us. The pontoon boat was fantastic as well as the fire pit area. I highly recommend this home for a large group. We had a wonderful time in an environment that had it all!!!!!

Our entire family (10 adults, 6 children) had a wonderful week. The house was clean, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful pool, and so much space to spread out. We rented the boat and loved to cruise around the lake. Fishing from the dock, kayaking, and using the large float on the lake were enjoyed by the grandchildren and adults. The fire pit and gazebo were also favorite places to enjoy time together. This is a perfect home for a large family with things to do for all ages. The layout is unique with 5 bedrooms in the main building and 2 bedrooms accessible from the pool area. Both of these were connected by a large lounge area with a TV and comfy couches/chairs and a half bath. The sun porch off the kitchen had plenty of seating options for our whole family to eat together and enjoy the lake views. The grill is now on a huge deck off to the side of the house. I think in the pictures it is shown as being on a small porch coming out of the sun porch. That now has a table with 4 chairs on it. We choose different venues for our family vacation every year but this would definitely be a top choice to stay in again. Thanks for a memorable week!

Wonderful stay even with 4 days of rain. plenty of room. Well furnished. Thankful for generator with power out for 3 hours.

Fantastic stay. We have a large family with children ranging in age from 26-12, plus girlfriends. This lake house satisfied everyone. We also rented the pontoon boat which is a must. It literally felt like we were given the keys to a small hotel or retreat. Multiple rooms, all with bathrooms, multiple living rooms and gathering areas of all types. Decks, TV rooms, dining areas, a pool, and a dock! Not a lot to do in the vicinity but once you step through the “Welcome to the Lake” gateway you will want to stay. Downtown Charlotte is a short drive away if you want it but you will feel far far away here.

Our family had the best time at this house. We loved the separate suite for the grandparents who had a different sleep schedule. The separate space was also perfect and quiet for our toddlers naps. This house had everything! We have never stayed somewhere that had all the appliances, dishes, storage containers, utensils that you need. Everything was included and it made packing and our arrival much simpler. We rented the boat and enjoyed a sunset cruise every night and several trips to Papa Docs for lunch, drinks and dessert. We enjoyed lounging by the pool at all hours of the day with the beautiful outdoor lights and the relaxing fire pit. We also spent many hours fishing off the dock and swimming in the lake. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience in this house. Loved every minute.

Great location, right on the lake with a pontoon boat. Close to CLT airport. Well equipped kitchen. Great BBQ.

A beautiful spacious, well laid out large home that was perfect for us 6 siblings with our spouses. We spent mornings going for long walks in the wooded neighborhood, swimming in the pool and taking leisurely boat rides along the river in the rented pontoon in the afternoon. Evenings were enjoyed around one of the 2 available gas fire pits where there is plenty of seating, as well as playing cards in the massive game room area off the pool. A perfect spot for a 4 day familym reunion!

We loved our stay and the property. The home itself is comfortable, spacious, and has great character. The setting on the lake cannot be beat, and the pool, deck, firepit, pontoon boat... they all made for a fantastic stay. The only area for improvement would be glassware/drink ware... could use many more wine glasses for larger groups, as well as a better variety or/quality of coffee mugs. But these are minor issues. We loved our stay!

Four grandparents, four sets of parents and six children 8 to 2, it was a perfect set up for all; separate family spaces, heated pool with lots of toys, well-equipped kitchen, abundance of towels and pillows, separate outdoor hang-out areas, beautiful location right on the water (kayaks and canoe were very appreciated), gorgeous sunrise/sunsets! We were lucky to have ideal weather and were close enough for a day trip to Carowinds Park. We would love to return!

We absolutely loved this vacation rental. It was more house than our family needed for sure but it did come in handy due to horrible weather conditions. It offered quiet space for everyone AND a great party/event/rec room for the children to get the wiggles out! Highly recommended!

What a great property! Well worth the stay, the only bad thing to deal with was the fact we had to leave! I highly recommend this place.
