Charming Lake Michigan Cottage in Stevensville near Grand Mere State Park
Prêt pour des vacances au lac? Ce chalet lumineux et adorable est exactement ce dont vous avez besoin pour une escapade idyllique à la plage. Niché près du parc pittoresque de Grand Mere, vous serez à quelques pas de la plage, des dunes de sable, de la pêche, des sentiers pédestres et des parcs. Ce chalet est proche des dizaines de vignobles et de brasseries artisanales dans le sud-ouest du Michigan. Après avoir profité de tout ce que Grande Mere a à offrir, vous pourrez vous détendre sur la grande véranda ou préparer le dîner dans la spacieuse cuisine moderne. Ce chalet dispose d'un plan d'étage ouvert et aéré, et deux chambres confortables, de sorte que vous pouvez avoir une bonne nuit de repos après les jours de plaisir du lac Michigan. Le chalet peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 adultes avec 1 lit queen, 1 lit double et un canapé-lit. Bien que ce chalet n'est pas au bord du lac, il est à seulement 5 minutes à pied de l'accès à la plage publique du lac Michigan. Nous sommes situés à la sortie de l’I-94, à seulement 90 minutes de route de Chicago, à 2 heures et demie de Detroit et à 3 heures d’Indianapolis.
Veuillez noter que les niveaux d'eau actuels ont provoqué une certaine érosion de la plage publique la plus proche, plusieurs arbres étant tombés dans l'eau. La plupart de ces arbres ont été coupés et nettoyés, mais il reste encore quelques portions d’arbres / de broussailles sur la plage. La plage est toujours accessible et utilisable, mais elle n’est pas aussi pittoresque en raison de l’érosion. Il y a également deux autres plages très proches: (1) la plage de Lincoln Township, située à environ 2,5 km, à 3655 N Lake Path, Stevensville et (2) le parc national de Grand Mere, à 1,6 km. Notez que dans le Grand Mere State Park, il se trouve à environ 15 minutes à pied du parking de la plage. Les autres grandes plages de la région sont Silver Beach à St. Joseph et Weko Beach à Bridgman.
La plage est toujours utilisable et les conditions de plage peuvent changer à tout moment en fonction du temps et des marées.

Nice little cottage in a quiet area near the lake. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. There was a fire pit and firewood that was perfect for roasting marshmallows. Beach towels, chairs, and a caddy for heading to the beach. The table on the screened in porch is where we ate most of our meals. Was comfortable for our family. Room for a pack n play in the bedroom. Temps were in the high 80s when we arrived and the window air conditioners kept the cottage comfortable.

We loved the location, which is within walking distance to two different beaches. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, which we appreciated, and we spent most of our time in the screened in porch. I would definitely recommend this property.

We enjoyed the stay thoroughly. It was accessible, easy to find and the check in and out was very streamlined. The cottage was tidy, organized and family friendly. It was a great place to land at the end of our busy days. The beds were soft, towels and bathroom very nice. We made use of the convenient washer and dryer. Location-wise the neighborhood setting in Grandmere Park is beautiful. We will definitely plan to return. The only comment I have would be to replace the water filter in the fridge for faster water consumption! Otherwise everything was perfect. :)

Cute little house. Worked just fine for my wife and two young kids. It's a little off the beaten path but easy to find. The beach is within a couple min of walking. But due to erosion it was not ideal for a beach day. Also there was a broken key in the lock box. Not sure what it went to. But we were still able to gain access to the house with no problems. The host was very quick to respond. Overall happy with our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage in Stevensville Mi. It was very quaint and clean. We loved the screened in porch. It was close to some beautiful beaches and even a casino. We had a great weekend.

Really nice cottage close to the beach and nearby things to do. Fit our needs perfectly. Property manager was great. The place is very well equipped and clean. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back if we’re coming to the area.

We stayed two nights in this lovey cabin. The location is perfect for the local beaches and towns. The cabin is really well equipped - probably the best place we’ve ever been to - and they have anything and everything you need. The ROKU TV was great and we were able to stream online well, the WiFi was really speedy and no issues. Shower was amazing and perfectly sized for taller people (husband was thrilled). No problems with the stay at all. I’m a clean freak and the whole property and grounds were clean and very well maintained. I felt comfortable and in a home from home. Thank you so much for letting people stay at this beautiful place.

Stayed here with family (4 kids that were 11 and under) and enjoyed ourselves! The private beach that is just a couple minute walk away is great. The house is very nice, clean, and a great location to Grand Mere, St. Joe, and all your Pure Michigan-ing!

Great little place in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to the beach. Owners were very responsive when a small problem with the toilet arose, as they came over and fixed it immediately. Clean house with no issues.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped home close to the lake. We loved the screened porch for chats, meals and watching/listening to the birds. The host was very responsive and provided accurate information.
The local beach access is a little climb, great for sunsets. The township beach is minutes away, and the tree lined walk is beautiful(no restrooms). St Joe's is close by, for swimming, sun bathing, shopping and eating.
It was a great place to spend father's day weekend with the family.

My wife and I absolutely loved the cabin! As a couple that lives and works in under resourced neighborhoods in Chicago, it was medicinal for us! Relaxing by the fire pit, cozy, clean cabin itself, enclosed front porch, a great space to work, living room so comfortable to watch tv, everything about it, so nice and clean and updated, and my wife loved the decor!

October is such a beautiful time at this property- the foliage and wildlife are breathtaking! The hosts were wonderfully communicative and the house was sparkling clean. 3rd time here and it never disappoints!

The property was perfect for a long weekend touring the local wineries. October in south eastern Michigan is beautiful and the location of the cottage perfect! It was very clean, and cozy...we loved the fireplace.

Amazing location! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. It’s in a beautiful wooded area and got to see the turkeys and deer right in front of the house. A block down was a great place to watch the sunset.
Check in was easy and communication was great. Highly recommend.

Stayed the month of August. Very comfortable two bedroom cottage near Lake Michigan. Weather was perfect. Everything we needed was provided. Weekly housekeeping. Could use a hot tub. A family of 8 turkeys on property were very entertaining. Outside very rustic with fire pit. Able to walk in secluded neighborhood but Beach access was challenging.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Easy. Clean. and More than we expected. We saw wildlife every day. Felt a million miles for everywhere, but were so close to everything. Just the rest and relaxation we were looking for! We could have packed half of what we did...every time we thought, of I wish there was...it was magically there! Fully stocked with anything you could need. Communication was prompt and easy! Can't say enough great things. We will definitely be back!

This was such a cute cottage that was well stocked and clean. We loved all the personal touches. Communication was easy and great. The outdoor firepit was amazing (although it rained so we didn’t get to take advantage of it) but it was stocked with wood and ready to go. The neighborhood was so lovely and quiet! So many free little libraries, beautiful yards and a couple little areas to peek out onto the lake to catch the sunset. There was even a playground for the littles nearby. The location was perfect for getting to both Warren Dunes and St. Joseph beaches. We plan to return next year!

We had such a wonderful summer vacation at this lake house. It is beautiful and so clean inside. I loved having my morning coffee on the porch. My son loved playing in the driveway as I watched and read in the porch. The kitchen was very well stocked to make simple meals. Although having some small plastic cups for kids to use would be very welcomed. The communication with the host was simple and quick, even leading up to our trip. We loved our time in MI and can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Great getaway
From the moment we pulled in the drive, we knew we picked the right place to stay. This may be the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. The home is extremely comfortable and the screened patio was a great place to start and end our day. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and there were more than enough towels and extra linens if needed. The directions to the home were spot on, making it easy to find. Would love to return during Fall. There is also an abundance of wildlife that walk thru the property each day. Communication with the owner was excellent. They even went above and beyond to return a sentimental item I accidentally left behind. That really meant alot to me.

We had a lovely experience! Home was very clean and had everything thing we needed for our short stay! We loved the screened in porch-very relaxing to enjoy a morning coffee!
