Comfortable flat in superb location. Clean with everything we needed for a short stay. Very close to the beach and the Rathlin ferry

2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment

the en-suite shower needs re grouting black mould. told the owner. TV there were no instructions on how to operate. Had to ask the owner to sort it out. The SKY handset was so worn you could not read the numbers or letters. The heating was not operating. when the owner came to switch and he left the heating did not come on. I pressed a button and started the heating which warmed up the bedrooms. sitting in a lounge with no hearing was uncomfortable. The bed linen in the bedroom looked tired. Towels were great. There was a whole list of what we had to do on departure ie: strip our beds, empty the bin and wipe out the fridge. From a guest point of view I feel that the onus is on the cleaner and not the guest.

Bathroom could do with some updating, some light bulbs not working. hairdryer not working properly, unable to get tv to work. car parking for two vehicles but would be tight even for small cars was plenty of room to park on road though. A welcome pack tea etc would have been nice luckily local shop was still open

Location

Mould in bathroom, shower curtain not been changed and stained beyond belief. Worst of all mattress on single bed was beyond description. I had to put my jacket under the dip as I was sinking into it and my back was aching. Just unacceptable standards.

Apartment itself is in good location, quiet modern though table and chairs on balcony need replaced, as they are all rusty. Girl who comes in to clean when you are leaving is very friendly.

Apartment was clean but a bit tired in places eg. Mould round shower tray and bath. Also for 2 people I think it was a but pricey.

Honestly , I can't fault anything about our stay at Strandveiw beach Appartments from Saturday 16th July- Saturday 23rd July. From the moment we arrived , we were met with a warmness and a smile , the two lady's who look after the appartments , were really lovely , when they noticed I had mobility problems , they instantly offered to help us carry our luggage upstairs to our rooms . They even showed us how to operate the heating and electrical items in the appartment . Mel and the other lady , informed us about the places we should go and see , like BALLINTOY , CUSHENDALL , WATERFOOT and other beauty spots , around the Glen's of Antrim . Honestly everything we needed to make our holiday complete , was right on our door-step . Shops , bars , restraints, beach , fishing , parks , car parking & loads more . We have been coming to ballycastle now for just over 50 years , and this is NOT a word of a lie . This was the best family holiday , we have ever experienced, 100% the truth , me and my family 3 adults & 3 grandkids , All enjoyed it so much , that before we left , we have asked for the same 7 nights booking , for next year 2023 . Even wanted to give one of the two lady's our deposit , to book again . That's how much we all enjoyed it . The appartments itself was so spacious, big bedrooms , big living room , balconies upstairs and down , overlooking the marina, beach & and sea . We hardly needed to use the cars , unless we were going outside Ballycastle, on a daytime. Even the local Ballycastle niebours were really pleasant and helpful . Our appartments had everything we needed , ironing , washing , cooking facilities, fridge & freezer , towels , bedding and bedclothes were spotless , my wife is a bit funny when it comes to cleansingness , and even she was impressed at first sight ...

Love this apartment - as a group of 4 it is ideal for us.

The location was fabulous. The views were amazing and having the balconies on both levels (even in the middle of storm Arwen) was the icing on the cake. Apartment had everything we needed. Modern in design and clean.

The over all experience was brilliant

Clean, comfortable, cosy yet spacious, great location, well-appointed apartment. It had just about everything we needed and more. A balcony off the lounge area and another off the master suite added that something extra to our holiday. We would recommend this apartment.

I loved the location everything was walking distance. The veiw from the bedroom was lovely to wake up to especially with the weather being on our side. The beach was a couple of seconds away which was good having 2 children with us. Plenty of places to eat and drink and supermarkets round the corner. Plenty of places to visit. Not far away from the apartment. Would definitely recommend the ferry to rathlin Island had a brilliant day there and kintra tour which took you out for an hour and a half to sea. Told you about the history of the caves and we were lucky enough to sea some sea lions. The apartment itself was very clean and tidy and had everything in it that we needed. The balconies was a brilliant touch. The host Jo is very quick at responding to any requests. The only thing I would say having 2 young children with us it was a bit of a rush to get out for 10 o'clock although I'm sure if we had of contacted Jo she would not have minded an extra hour. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and hopefully be back some time.

There was really nothing I didn't like. Any issues we had were sorted straight away. The key wasn't there to let us in but cleaner dropped it off in the space of 5 minutes. Might be an issue for some people but not us.

Location excellent , 2 spacious bedrooms , 2 bathrooms , everything you need , great value for money , very clean , comfy beds, spacious lounge with comfy sofa and equipped kitchen and very nice and accommodating host and lovely cleaner who we met on way out. Excellent Spar round corner and cafes etc

Maybe showers could be hotter but nothing to moan about really :-)

Super views right in the town, spacious apartment with super facilities.

The property was so close to everything. 2 mins walk to beach. Property had great facilities. Will definitely stay here again:)
