La ferme Bury Hill, à Winterbourne, à Bristol, est située sur un terrain privé de 8 acres avec une longue allée au large d'une route de campagne, qui fait partie d'une petite ferme. À seulement 15 minutes de Bristol et 20-25 minutes de Bath.

The house is exactly as it looks in the photos, perfect for our hen weekend of 12 ladies - hot tub hire was easy to plan and overall the house was clean, spacious, well equipped and absolute couldn't fault it. Clare was an amazing host with useful friendly communication all the way through

Absolutely amazing!
From the very beginning, booking Bury Hill Farm was stress free. Clare was able to answer my initial questions and did so quickly. Throughout the process Clare was always there to help, offering expert advice on local activities, amenities, transport etc. We even had directions to various locations due to road closures.
The pictures only give a glimpse of how beautiful the house is. Everything has been thought of from an endless supply of cutlery, plates and glasses and tea and coffee to all the little touches with decorations and accessories which make it feel like a proper home from home. The outside area is perfect, even when wet.
There is so much space and the 10 of us that stayed here all said how stunning the house is and that there is a high quality of everything provided.
Would highly recommend this property and would love to be able to come back again one day.

We loved both indoor and outdoor spaces - plenty of room for everyone. Pretty bunting, lighting and other decorative touches throughout. We had activities booked in both Bristol and Bath which are both in easy reach. Clare gave us loads of ideals for things to do …. Restaurants, nightclubs, taxis, hot tub hire etc. such an excellent host and house which I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Wonderful stay for a mixed group of 30 year olds celebrating a 30th birthday! The house has everything you need for a large group, and the garden, kitchen and living room were all perfect for that purpose!
Clare could not have been more helpful- she provided a really handy guide of loads of activity and attraction ideas nearby, lots of guidance for the property and responded very quickly to our queries and was very accommodating.

We lived this property, it was ideal for our family celebration. Clean comfortable and lovely outdoor space to have fun and relax. We all enjoyed being able to get close to the farm animals too. Our hosts were excellent, nothing too much trouble very welcoming. We hope to visit again .

Great for weekend trip with friends
Really large house that is perfect for a weekend break with a group of friends or family. Lots of space, sleeping areas are comfortable, bathrooms are clean, the kitchen has good facilities. Nice that it is away from other houses so you don't have to worry about making noise. There is a nice walk out the back of the property, I would stay again. Clare was great at communicating and responded very quickly to any questions.

Well suited for our group gathering, with lovely hostess
We and two other families (12 people total) rented this house for a weekend reunion. The house is set up for big gatherings, indoors and out. It was immaculately clean.
The main floor has a massive dining room table that could fit all of us with plenty of plates, glasses and silverware; a living room with 3 sofas and wood-burning stove; (perfect for game nights) and a powder room with toilet and sink. The fenced garden was a hit.
The house is on a working farm- ponies, cows, chickens- and you can ask the owners to visit the animals There are walking trails/public footpaths right from the property, and we enjoyed lovely strolls.
Clare, the owner, lives next door and will greet you upon check-in. She was friendly and responsive. She includes detailed information before and on-property about the house, directions, local amenities, transport, etc. We all appreciated this, as well as the excellent wifi and cell reception.
We would have appreciated knowing at the time of booking that the refundable security deposit would be via bank transfer instead of credit card (we are from the US so did not have an account to use, but our British friends did) and that towels are not provided for bookings of less than one week. Also note that the house is "L" shaped. The long bit is what we rented. The short bit seems to have permanent tenants. We did not hear or have interaction with them during our stay, and both sections of the building have separate parking and gardens.
The first floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. One couple and their kids used 2 of the bedrooms and the en-suite bath. We used the other bedroom and shared the second bath with the family that stayed on the second floor/attic (which has 3 bedrooms and no bath).
All agreed this property suited our needs quite well, both those of us who stayed on property and the other friends who came in for the day, with easy access for all (coming from Wales, Bristol, Reading and London).

Homely cottage, perfect hen do!
Bury hill farm is absolutely amazing! We had 10 people staying and it felt roomy and well appointed. The outdoor space was brilliant, we made good use of it (thanks to a beautiful October weekend) and we also walked around the local area. The house itself was clean, well furnished and handy for all our planned activities. Communications from the host were good and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful house, perfect for a chilled group getaway.
We used the house for a long weekend stay, we were after a relaxing but fun girls catch up weekend.
There is so much space in the house, everything we needed was there, the garden space is amazing. We hired a hot tub from a company recommended by Clare (Pepperbells), we also hired in a cocktail making experience (Tipsy Parties) and they were both fantastic.
There was nothing to complain about, everything was perfect. Thank you so much Clare, you’re a lovely host and we will be recommending your place to friends and family.

Highly recommend!
Highly recommend staying at Bury hill farm! The property was very comfortable, spacious and clean, and had everything we could have needed for our 3 night stay. Clare was so helpful prior to and during our stay, providing a lot of helpful information about the area, and being just a phone call away if we needed anything. The accommodation was around 20 minutes from Bristol by taxi and was easy to find. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone. Thanks again for a beautiful weekend Clare!!

Fantastic Hen do Stay
Clare was a great hostess, all the information we needed prior to arriving, and this continued through out our stay. Lovely location. Close to Bristol where we went to Flying Saucers pottery cafe (recommended), and for a meal to lost and found. Clare even took photos of our group. The property its self was spacious, providing all we needed for a group of 10. Didn't use the garden. Said hello to the Donkey's. 10/10. Many Thanks!!!

Wonderful stay
We had a lovely Stay at Bury Hill Farm for my father-in-laws 70th birthday weekend. The cottage was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations and had everything we needed to cater for small children, even stair gates which was really appreciated. A brilliant property for a large group!
We loved Bury Hill Farm! I booked it as a birthday treat for 6 couples, and it was perfect.
The donkeys welcomed us as we drove up the long driveway, and the property was clean and well-maintained. A lovely open plan kitchen diner made meal times really sociable, and the wood burning stove kept us snug in the evenings.
The garden was gorgeous, and the owner Clare was brilliant. The slight downside was the noise of the motorway - but you couldn't hear that at all from indoors.
As keen runners, we found plenty of amazing countryside to explore.

Amazing house!
We have just returned from a weekend stay at the farm to celebrate a 21st birthday. We were a large family group which the house was perfect for. The house is very spacious, clean and equipped with everything you would need for a weekend away. The children loved visiting the animals and collecting eggs for breakfast. We will definitely be returning for another stay at the farm!

Superb Property
Very comfortable property, lots of space for friends and family to socialise and relax in. Well equipped kitchen and all of the basic white goods available and in full working order. The garden is totally enclosed and would be suitable for all ages to enjoy and there is ample parking. The property is in a superb location for Bristol and is very convenient for visiting Bath as well. We loved it!!

The property is found at the end of a very pot-holed drive which could be quite dangerous if arriving in the dark!
Everything was as we expected - the owner was really helpful, fetching some whiskey tumblers from her property for our use.
I would happily recommend this property to anyone, especially large family groups.
The only downside was that as it was an old property, the stairs were very creaky as were the upstairs floors so trying not to make a noise to wake up anyone was not particularly easy! We managed!!!!!

Excellent stay at a beautiful property
A group of 9 girl friends met up for a weekend. The farmhouse was ideal for our purposes, with a kitchen very well stocked with appliances/crockery/ kitchen tools, opening into a large dining area with a big farmhouse table for meals. A utility room had a large larder fridge and an undercounter freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The layout downstairs was ideal for our purposes, with the lounge leading on from the large kitchen/dining area, with 3 comfy 3 seater sofas and an armchair. We did have a very minor issue with the TV, but this was very quickly sorted for us. Good wifi for all of us too!
Farmhouse was spotlessly clean, with 6 comfy bedrooms, the bathroom facilities were slightly on the ”tight” side, with an en-suite, family bathroom and downstairs toilet, but we coped as we are good friends. It might not suit some families, but only a minor detail for us.
The owner Clare was very helpful and responsive to messages, we had fresh milk delivered to us, all in all we had a wonderful stay.
We had organised a minibus to take us into Bristol (via a recommendation from Clare), and this was excellent for us all, especially as we could use the bus lane to avoid the city centre traffic. Return minibus for 9 was £120, excellent value, speedy and prompt.
We were lucky enough to visit during Oktoberfest, which made our holiday break.
The house is very pretty, lots of fairy lights and attention to detail. Clare couldn’t have been more helpful, Organising logs at short notice and bringing matches to light the logburner which we had forgotten. We organised a food delivery with Asda, which suited our needs well. The bonus of the farm environment, friendly animals and excellent local walks was a bonus.
Several people did comment on the slight noise from the local motorway/main road, but that was from people used to very remote countryside. Myself, living near an airport, thought it almost silent!
We wouldn’t hesitate to return, or recommend.

A quaint homey farm house. Perfect for family getaways and reunions.
Our extended family met up for a 5-day getaway. The farm house is very clean and well furnished. I came intending to cook and found everything I needed. Our family enjoyed sitting around the long farm table in the open kitchen area. My husband and brother found the trails and enjoyed rambling around the countryside. We found the location very conducive to getting around Bristol and Bath was just a short, easy drive away.

Eight people stayed, although that was stretching the facilities - six would have been ideal.
A typical farmhouse with good facilities including the patio and garden.
