The Studio @ Portage Lion! Stand-Alone Studio Apartment-Close to Notre Dame
Le Lion de Portage se trouve sur 4 acres magnifiquement aménagés qui faisaient autrefois partie d'une pépinière. Nous sommes à seulement 15 minutes de l'Université de Notre Dame et du centre-ville de South Bend et à 30 minutes des plages du lac Michigan. Ce studio récemment rénové de 750 pieds carrés peut accueillir deux personnes, est climatisé et comprend une cuisine complète, une salle à manger, un salon et des chambres à coucher avec 1 salle de bain. Wifi, câble, sèche-cheveux, ustensiles de cuisine, grille-pain et cafetière sont fournis avec la location. Nous avons une belle flore mature, de très grands arbres, une grotte et des éléments architecturaux en dur. Renseignez-vous sur l'utilisation du grand patio en pierre bleue de la maison principale. Promenez-vous et regardez les caractéristiques et découvrez notre grand potager! Une sensation très semblable à un parc. Les autres équipements extérieurs incluent un parking, une balançoire et des espaces ouverts pour jouer au football, au football ou simplement courir. Moyennant un supplément, ce grand appartement peut accueillir 1 à 2 personnes supplémentaires sur un canapé et / ou un matelas pneumatique surélevé fourni par le propriétaire.
Les propriétaires sont sur place dans un bâtiment séparé et sont heureux de vous accueillir avec leur chien très sympathique, Poppy.

Our stay at the Portage Lion was great. We had every thing we need and more for our visit to the area. We come to the area often as our family is there. Tim and Suzanne were great hosts. They had some breakfast foods in the fridge for us which was very nice. We will be remembering this place for our future visits to the area. My only complaint was we didn’t find it sooner.

I had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very thoughtful - even having yogurt, bagels, cream cheese, and jam in the fridge waiting for me. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. A+ trip.

I was traveling solo for a bridal shower and was fortunate enough to find The Studio available. The space is quite large and felt very private yet it is situated close enough to the hosts that I felt quite safe. The gardens are lovely, the bed was super-comfortable and the hosts, Suzanne and Tim, could not be any more friendly! They also provide coffee and a continental breakfast! I will most definitely be back!

Owners are on site and easy to communicate with. All instructions were posted on the fridge. Everything worked well and the home was comfortable. Beautiful property; we walked the property one morning and looked at the gardens. Kitchen was well stocked and the continental breakfast was a sweet touch!

This location has a great property. This was our second time staying here and I chose this property for it's cleanliness and kind hosts. We got to check in a bit early thanks to Suzanne, and they provide a nice little breakfast with your coffee so you don't have to go out first thing in the morning. Will choose to stay again, and highly recommend to my family traveling nearby!

My husband and I decided last minute to catch a Notre Dame Women’s Basketball game and see our daughter play in the pep band. This was the perfect place to stay. It had everything we needed for our short stay and was within an easy drive to campus. We’d definitely stay here again.

The property is beautiful, it is on a nice quiet road. The directions to get in are perfect from the owners. Lots of amenities within the unit for the studio. Fascinating old buildings to gander at on the property too if you like architecture and history. Complementary little breakfast was very sweet and helpful to get us going. Thank you!

The owners Tim and Suzanne are fantastic hosts! The studio is located close to Notre Dame and was very convenient to attend an ND game. The bed was super comfy. It was great to have a full kitchen (except for dishwasher). It would have been nice to have instructions for the TV. Highly recommend.

This was a very clean and nicely furnished studio. It was near Notre Dame and several downtown restaurants, so perfect for my husband and I for the weekend. It was a little complicated to find, but the host's check in email was very thorough so we were able to get there after re-reading through it! There was yogurt and granola, kuerig coffee pods and a lovely loaf of chocolate chip bread in the fridge for us. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and the backyard area was really nice. The only negative is that the studio is connected to some kind of garage/storage facility so there was quite a bit of banging noise and loud talking coming through the walls, but that was all during the day and the room was very quiet while we were sleeping. If we're in the area again, we would definitely stay here, but maybe in the cottage as it's separate from the garage units.

This property was located close to so many attractions and restaurants. It was very clean and well stock if you plan on cooking/eating at the studio. A continental breakfast was also furnished which was an unexpected treat. It was nicely decorated and very quiet. Would highly recommend to anyone who plans to be in this area. We will definitely stay there again when we are back in the area.

This was a great home base for our very first trip to visit our son at ND! A bit out of the fray but very convenient to get to everything. The studio had everything we could have needed and the continental breakfast offerings were a nice touch and much appreciated after a late night arrival!
