The food was excellent. The room was warm and comfortable and whole place was more than we expected.

We had room 3 on the front of the hotel. It had a great view from 2 big windows and a spacious bathroom.

Our stay was on a Friday night and we could hear music from a downstairs party until midnight. It was not overly loud and did not spoil our stay.

Singleton Lodge is full of character and set in attractive grounds. The staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent, very well presented and good value for money.

Property was set in grounds, accessed by a driveway, with alpacas in sectioned of areas, leading to ample parking. Our room was large, as what would be expected in a property of this nature. All usual facilities to a good standard. Large comfortable old fashioned type bed, settee & dressing table. Tastefully decorated, if a little tired. A good breakfast was included in the price.

I took my husband away for his birthday. The location and the hotel were superb. The hotel was extremely clean and well presented. The staff were brilliant, they made us feel welcome and they were extremely helpful. You couldn't want for more if you were going away for relaxation. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely. We'll definitely stay there again. If the owner reads this or the staff, we loved how you made our stay special and big thanks to the girls who looked after us from the minute we arrived. A*****

Tiny bit disappointed that our room was at back of hotel, so we didn't have a view of the garden. Room beautifully decorated & very peaceful though. Room only has dressing table mirror so would benefit from full length mirror. Beds were exceptionally comfortable - best bed I've ever slept in a hotel! Nice crisp white linen. However, pillows were disappointing - limp & flat, could do with some new plump ones I think! Also, I think this standard of hotel,would benefit from some luxury touches like large vases of fresh flowers around the hotel e. g. in the entrance.

The hotel is a little dated but set within nice grounds. I had a nice room & breakfast, which made for a pleasant 1 night stay.
