I’ve stayed here dozens of times and spent thousands of dollars here. The front desk staff are courteous, friendly, and the hotel is extremely clean. restaurant has delicious food.

the air conditioning in the whole building was broken, and our stay was in summer. we were with a group of several people in a few rooms and nobody told us the AC was broken when we checked in at 11:30 PM. it was so hot it was difficult and even impossible to sleep. they fixed the air conditioning after the first day, telling us they’d make it right for us on the bill and apologized for not informing us upon booking and check in. however, several days later when we checked out, the administrator insisted we pay full price for the first sweaty night with no AC, and failed to even say sorry or take responsibility. I told her I WANTED to pay for all the other nights, just not the first. she called the POLICE, who came and after listening to both sides, told her to let us pay only for the nights with cool working AC as advertised. we happily paid and left, but first she said she would be in contact with her attorneys, find me wherever I am, and press charges. so terribly Sovietic. very disappointing and poor service from the administrator, especially because of the price (double other hotels of similar quality) and exceptionally great service I’ve had there in the past. oh, and there’s a war going on, we’re there to help her country’s displaced people, and that’s how she wants to do business?
