The house was amazing and in the perfect location, we had a great time and made some amazing memories with our 2 young children. The house had everything you could need and was immaculate. Loved every minute and cannot wait to visit again sometime in the near future!

For those who do not know Burgau this small development is near the village and the beach. A few minutes walk to both. Stayed six times in Burgau and without a doubt this was the best equipped house we have stayed in The ooool etc was spotless as was pool area. Do not hesitate to rent this house if going to Burgau.

Loved to relax by the pool after touring the beautiful countryside. A very quaint village. Will return here for sure. Lovely accommodations. THANKS for sharing your house with us!

Lugar precioso a parte de familiar con mucho encanto. La ubicación del chalet es perfecta, tienes todo a dos pasos, no necesitas coche para nada. La casa tenía todo lo necesario, no echas nada en falta (hasta nevera y juguetes para la playa) La dueña Leslie como Joao que es quien nos recibió son un encanto y mucha amabilidad y responden a todas tus dudas sin problema. Lovely Townhouse well placed and a short five walk from the beach and Burgau’s restaurants. Beautifully clean with plenty of space for two couples. We’ve stayed in Burgau a number of times but It’s the first time we’ve had our own pool! Would recommend!

We arranged a long weekend at the villa and I would recommend a visit 1 million%. The property is clean and tidy and does exactly what it says on the tin. Lesley was extremely helpful in supplying information on the location and facilities in the area. The local people are warm and welcoming and there is a stunning beach with some absolutely amazing restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. We would highly recommend and we will be going back.

I cannot write enough wonderful things about this townhouse and the town of Burgau! I'll start with the townhouse. It was perfect for our family of 4. (Kids ages 7 and 5) They loved the pool and we loved the outside patio and dining table. We ate breakfast outside every morning while the kids swam. The patio is also perfect for a glass of wine! The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms are nice sized and both have air conditioners in them. We loved all of the beach toys that are provided and took chairs and toys with us to the beach every day. The townhouse is a very short walk in to town and the beach. In fact, we would go to the beach in the morning and then come back to the house for lunch. Lesley was very responsive before we arrived and Ana was wonderful while we were there. We didn't have any issues, but if we had, I have no doubt that she would have been very responsive! And, as for the town of Burgau... It absolutely exceeded my expectations! Burgau is the quintessential European beach town- small cobblestone streets, whitewashed buildings, plenty of cafes and restaurants. It was wonderful! The beach was small, but perfect for our family. The first two days we were there, the ocean was calm like a lake. The rest of the days there were some waves and there were some surfers and lots of boogie boarders in the water. There is a nice cafe on the beach and you are also able to rent chairs and umbrellas right on the beach. We went to 2 other beaches during our time in Burgau, but kept coming back to the Burgau beach because we loved it the best! There is a grocery store within walking distance to the townhouse that had everything we needed. Our stay was amazing and we can't wait to go back!

This wonderful town home in the quaint, small village of Burgau is the perfect base to explore the Algarve! Only a few minutes from an awesome beach (Praia), though with steep streets to wander down (& then back up!). The restaurants were all excellent..especially the Burgau Beach Bar, the Barraca, and Agua no Boca in Salema (a short drive away..book in advance!) But the main reason to stay here is the laid back, more natural base in Burgau with wonderful accommodations to return to after a day of exploring. This home is as described, with a full stocked kitchen, very comfortable 2 bedrooms upstairs with a balcony off the master, 2 and 1/2 baths, very quick WiFi, and was immaculate on our arrival..There are 4 pool chairs, as well as cushions in the front alcove with beach gear. We have fallen in love with Portugal, from the cities of Porto, Lisbon, Coimbra and Evora, and then to the wild Algarve. The SE of the Algarve is definitely more "touristy", with many concrete resorts and apartments nestled in with great cities such as Tavira and its old city..as well as many small villages en route. But our hearts in the Algarve belong to the SW..and this home! Thank you for an incredible stay!

Third time in Burgau, 1st time in this villa. Very homely, meeting all of your holiday needs. Staff at the end of the phone in case of difficulties, but there shouldn't be any as everything is catered for. Burgau village itself is a pleasant 5 minute walk, you never need leave the village if you don't want to. A perfect retreat to get away from it all.

This was a real find - this excellent property a real 'home from home' it had everything that you could possibly need and even items you didn't realise you did need! The property is very clean and is managed by a very helpful and friendly lady called Ana who is on hand should you need her. From the initial enquiry dealing with Kevin and Lesley was a pleasure, nothing was too much trouble! This was our first holiday in Burgau and our daughter is already begging us to return as she loved the pool and beach, and if we did without hesitation we would book this property again! We had a very relaxing holiday in Burgau with some lovely restaurants (our favourite was Esquina booking advised).

We have stayed in several properties in Burgau over the last six years but this villa is definitely the best one, it is clean, has everything you need whilst away and the outside pool area is fantastic. There is plenty of space for a family of four especially teenagers and the village is brilliant for them as is a very safe enviroment. Have already recommended it to our family and friends. This is our 5th consecutive year holidaying in Burgau which we love. It retains the charm of a fishing village; has a lovely beach; and a large variety of places to eat and drink. The villagers are also incredibly friendly and welcoming. The centre of the village is only minutes away from the townhouse. It has an ATM, two large grocery shops, a wine/spirit shop, bakers, newsagents, beautician etc. My son was fascinated passing the stand at the top of the village where local fishermen/farmers would sell fresh fish, fruit and veg which seemed to be straight out of the water/off the fields. Although the advert suggests your own transport is essential we never bother hiring a car. We organise a taxi to pick us up and return us to the airport and during the holiday use the inexpensive local bus service when we want to go into Praia de Luz or Lagos. That said, had we hired a car the owners provided easy to follow directions from the airport to Burgau and the townhouse. This was our first year at the townhouse but our 7 year old son already has a guarantee from us that we are hiring it again next year. The townhouse is lovely, modern and spacious with a really nice outside area and pool. It is well equipped and maintained - the owners have thought of everything you could possibly want or need on holiday. Their manager Anna is contactable by phone but popped in the first day we arrived to check everything was okay and if we needed any advice. She organised the inside cleaning, the maintenance of the pool and outside area (the pool was very clean) and would say hello as she was passing – checking we were okay in an unobtrusive way. For a 30 Euro returnable deposit we also had access to a lovely complex which was over the road and had a gym, sauna etc outside play area for children, large pool and snack bar/restaurant We had a wonderful time at the townhouse and would highly recommend it to others.

This was our 2nd visit to Burgau and our 2nd rental property, obviously we did not rebook the 1st property we stayed in but would defiantly rebook to stay at Kevin & Lesley villa again. The Villa is located in Burgau, a very short walk to the local bars & restaurants & beach, but in a quiet location of the village (so the best of both worlds). The Villa offers a home from home feel with all the comforts of home, TV, sky box with UK TV, fully fitted kitchen well equipped, comfortable lounge and beds and a great outside area with a pool, loungers, table & chair which has full sun from morning until early evening. Great for sitting out having a glass of wine and just chilling the hours away or before heading of into the village for an evening out. Burgau and the villa offer the perfect solution for a long stay or a short 4 day break as we did. Thanks for letting us share your lovely home in a fab location; we will defiantly be recommending it to friends and family.

Lovely quiet location, house in lovely decorative order with everything u could need. Have stayed in these properties before but liked this best due to quiet location. Supply of golf magazines and books at house was most welcome. Use of sports club across the road great if u wanted a bigger pool, access to the gym or use of wi fi. Lots of friendly restaurants locally, my favourite is the local pizzeria for lovely pizzas and lovely staff. The Indian spice cottage also excelled in germs of it's food, value for money and friendly staff. Lot of restaurants required booking such as beach bar and restaurant opposite supermarket. Burgau is a lovely location for families with young children or for those of us wanting to get away from it all. Will rent clubs at airport next year and play some golf. Welcome package most welcome on our late arrival. Give house and resort top marks.
