We’re repeat guests of this wonderful home & are grateful to have found this gem when our daughter started law school. We love the neighborhood, the closeness to Stanford’s campus, restaurants, shopping, but most of all, we absolutely love the house, the patio, & beautiful gardens. It’s perfect & we’re looking forward to our next upcoming stay!

As always, our stay was wonderful. The home was the perfect setting for Thanksgiving with our children at Stanford. The kitchen is large and well-equipped…perfect for cooking family meals! We enjoyed the backyard and the garden was beautifully maintained. Property manager communication is always quick and easy!

We had an amazing time. The house and property were exceptional. Quick drive to Stanford and restaurants. Cathy was easy to work with and very helpful. I hope to return again!

This house is absolutely beautiful. Great location, plenty of space, well-appointed and maintained, magnificent garden . It was the perfect oasis for our week. Highly recommended.

As repeat guests, we always enjoy our stay at this lovely home. It is beautiful and well stocked with everything needed. The location is incredibly convenient for our family as we visit our students at Stanford!

I & my husband are both Stanford alums and we brought our family back to Palo Alto for a visit and stay in this house. A few things were a bit disappointed about this rental experience: 1) in the VRBO description: this house has a minimum 2 day vacancy between guest stays but we found that on the afternoon of the day before we checked in, there were guests still in the house 2) in the VRBO description (at the time of our reservation and during our stay): our reservation was for the max # person allowed stated in VRBO. As we checked in, the local manager Cathy kept asking did we got permission from the host for the # of persons staying. Within 2 hours, the host emailed us and warned us that extra charge may be incurred for extra persons. I emailed and reminded the host that the # of persons staying in the house would be exactly their max # allowed (and is the same as in our reservation) and suggested her to contact their local manager Cathy and let her know. The host did acknowledge that # of persons staying was consistent with the agreement. 3) Grease accumulation at the bottom of the oven was not clean out. 4) lint on the dryer lint screen was not completely clean out 5) when my son asked the local manager if the downstairs bedroom had AC (AC was on for the whole house at that point). She responded something to the effect of, of course, your room doesn’t get a separate AC unit and just went on to describe how to adjust the thermostat. Later on, we found out that the reason that there was no AC on the downstairs bedroom is because the room has a trundle bed and the bottom mattress completely blocks the AC vent. The local manager showed no interested in understanding the problem and moved on to what she assumed to be the problem of the lack of knowledge for adjusting the thermostat. 6) the local manager brought in a repair person to fix a blind in a bedroom right after we checked in(without asking permission from us). As we requested the repair person to leave due to our need of that bedroom for changing our clothes for an event in 15 min(we promised that we would not use that blind during our stay.) The local manager ignored our request and rushed the repair person to finish the repair. Other than these, the house was quite nice and the neighborhood was wonderful. Perhaps making sure to fulfill what it is advertised in VRBO and the training of their local manger will be needed for the clientele with such an exquisite house.

The house is in a convenient and quiet neighborhood in Palo Alto. Streets are lined with mature trees, and the property has a beautiful front and backyard with trees and flowers. Kitchen is big and functionally well stocked. We make great use of it. It is very close to shops and restaurants, and also easy access to highway and expressways. Love it!

Wonderful house with beautiful grounds. Perfect for our family business meeting. One piece of garden furniture had a leg broken off. Some issues with dishwasher.

Absolute gorgeous property! It was all very clean with plush linens and comfy beds, beautiful kitchen and so many areas to sit and enjoy each others’ company. We were all so happy with this home!

The description and pictures of this home doesn’t express the beautifully decorated quaint home. The property manager communicated in advance of our check-in to coordinate arrival and entrance to the home. This was a surprise anniversary trip for my husband and unbeknownst to him I invited four of close friends to join us. Unfortunately due to flight cancellations (COVID) it ended up being just the two of us. This provided for some great rest and relaxation in the beautiful home. One and I do mean ONE flaw was the freezer was broken so no ice or ice cream for my ice cream junkie husband. We would definitely rent this home again!

Very convenient location in the center of old Palo Alto, walking distance to Town & Country and University Ave. The place is lovely, remodeled yet full of old charm, excellent bathrooms, comfortable beds. We loved the light in the home with the window shades all up, especially the great room surrounding the kitchen. There were a couple minor maintenance issues typical of rentals such as stains in some carpets, worn window shades, and a few burnt out light bulbs, but the house was generally in excellent condition and clean. Front and back yards were lovely even in winter and a joy to view and walk through. We liked it so much we're hoping to stay again sometime in 2022.

Aside from being beautifully furnished and impeccably clean, the home is a peaceful retreat that feels like home. The backyard has manicured gardens with several sitting areas to enjoy. It’s so relaxing that you forget you are in the middle of a busy neighborhood and city! Inside, the house has a great layout for a group stay and well equipped kitchen for the chef in the family. Topped off with a convenient location, it’s perfect!

We just moved our daughter into Stanford Law and brought our 89 & 90 year old parents along to give our daughter a proper farewell. We were welcomed by Tarni who gave us a tour of the house & was a great resource for us. The wonderful fully furnished kitchen allowed us to eat on the patio overlooking a beautiful backyard & lovely gardens & stay covid safe. The house is close to campus & we felt very at home here. We would definitely love to stay here again.

We are a group of 7 and stayed for 3 nights. The home was incredible - clean, comfortable, and well stocked with all the essentials. The backyard was absolute heaven and we spent most of our time lounging on the swinging daybed surrounded by the beautiful smell of roses. Beds were very comfortable and we loved that there were plenty of blankets around the house to cozy up in different spots. Thank you for an incredible stay!

This home was even better than expected. It is a beautiful, well maintained property with a gorgeous garden perfect for a visit to the Bay Area. The location is in a lovely neighborhood, walking distance to Stanford and downtown Palo Alto. The manager was very responsive to our requests making it a very enjoyably stay. We will definitely visit again in the future.
